Even with Pretendo and other emulators, it does feel like a bittersweet ending to New Leaf and the 3DS as a whole. I had so many good memories with the online feature of New Leaf and made lots of friends there. Really hope the next Animal Crossing game can improve what New Horizons did while capturing the feel of New Leaf
Pretendo has already confirmed support for New leaf, and I believe they pretty much already have most, if not all the dream suites backed up. Online play may be gone for a while but it will be back. Help support Pretendo.
the fact that they ended the wifi service is so sad! i really loved being able to play acnl with my friends online when i couldn't be with them in person :(( anyways, thanks for the upload! i've been meaning to get back into acnl and this video appearing in my recommended was perfect timing ☺

This is so sad! My first game is New Horizon but I really wanted to play some of the other games in the franchise, I wish that I had played this before. I won’t be able to get the whole experience 😔
i mean eventually once the switch is obsolete, they'll probably stop maintaining online servers the same way they did for the ds. i hope they don't but it's likely to happen 😭
