I've only been cutting for 3 years and I nearly fell out of love for it because of how cut throat it has been in the shop. What keeps me going is the support of my family and friends. This video was definitely needed. I gotta take advantage of social media
Very informative! I've been cutting hair for 30 yrs and I love what your doing for the culture! You definitely inspire me to keep learning! Salute Young General!
My goal was to work at your shop within two years of graduation. I said in a previous video that I'd given up on my barbering career, but maybe I just need to focus and not give up so easily. You're an inspiration to us Bossio, much love.
How you do one thing is how you do everything, don’t give up on yourself, when things don’t work out the way you thought it would but your still going after it you know your doing the right thing, and it means you built different💯
Bossio, you are telling the truth about barbering. I've told young guys how to do this and it goes in one ear and out the other. I want to see every barber make money and be successful. Listen to Bossio young barbers, these are true nuggets he's giving.
To add to the remarks @ 10:01, using your own booking app, I have to say that I have switched many barbers because of this. you need a cut, you can't get in, the app recommends someone else, done, you just lost a customer. If there weren't recommendations, I probably would have booked at another time. I now cut my own hair because I can't find a good barber in my area, and for practice as I want to become a barber when I "retire". Great information in these videos Chris, Thank you.
I remember that Vlog from 2015... I was just an up and coming barber... Nostalgia ... I think you was talking about how you should handle no calls no shows...
If I had to describe this video in one word I'd say gems, for real. I always keep track of my haircuts and how my clients found out about me. Not booked yet but definitely improving, using those strategies will get you booked! 100% bro
Respect to you Bossio and new barbers need to take this advice and learn from it don't be cutting corners cos that doesn't work and will put you back further than you would be if you work to the plan. The year plan, walk in, book in, prices up. Keep build the shops clients. If you have a book in that for whatever reason don't show then there's a walk in waiting to be your new client. If you're working in a shop with fixed prices and they don't match your ambition its time to find another shop that does want the best. That's what its about. Take Bossio's advice its free and its the best. 💯
Thank you so much for sharing this free info to barbers that are trying to be successful or thinking of ways to grow. I appreciate your advice bro. Showing love from 🇬🇧
Yo chris ...I commend you man....u push n Give hope to guys like me that come from the streets...you show that there more out there there's hope and anyone can become a entrepreneur/ boss just gotta put in the work....I want what you have n would love to be where you at.....hopefully one day I will ...much love keep up pushing man gods great
My barbershop is cut throat. They’ll book appts on the shop phone for themselves and even take the shop phone outside with them to their truck. I wish it was more of a team dynamic where I work. All I can do is keep grinding
🔥 I’m currently working on building my clientele, so being a new barber I get a lot of inspiration from Bossio and S craft! Much respect for the free game u give out to us! 🙏🏻💯
Dont let anyone stop you, there is going to be jealous barbers around you ghat want your clients, stay consistent and treat them all like its ghe first time they've walked through the door. Never take a client for granted no matter how long they've been your client they will see if you're rushing them, if you miss a service you normally give them. Treat them like they are the man so they feel top of the world when they leave your shop. Bossio is giving you his experience and no how for free take it and absorb it all like a sponge. Impress you client with knowledge, tell them something they don't know every time they sit in your chair. A new product they need to try. They will pay and won't feel ripped off they will appreciate that you have give them something they needed. Most of all love your work. I've been cutting for 25 years and love it like ghe day I started but know I don't have the nerves and now have confidence in my work.
I’m not having much success with gaining clientele I have few returns but my schedule looks empty sometimes not much busy but all the other barbers are booked and I give a lot of my focus and detail to give them the best haircut possible but there only one timers so sometimes specially it’s a 30 minute barber shop I Harley convo sometimes cause I feel like there’s no point
Hey Chris Bossio 1st off appreciate your wisdom and knowledge. What kind of advice can you give Barbers with another full time job? I have a full time job and just recently started cutting full time. Full time job overnight and cut all day. Last month did great increased in weekly pay but getting burned out doing both.
“There is no competition, the competition is yourself” realest shit I’ve heard in a while 🔥
