      that's so dumb. All those girls have no glutes from the begining. Then they start dieting to unhealthy BF level and lose even more glute muscles... That doesn't make any sense!
      Look at pro athletic women sprints and jumps. They have double the glute mass but nearly the same BF level !!
      If deadlifting 1.5x BWfor reps and/or broad jumping 1.5x height is barley doable. You have not much muscle on your backside!

    Front foot elevated lunge is one of the best glutes exercise ever, if not the best. It’s definitely my favourite of all time! Thank you Dr. Mike and RP for introducing me to this movement and providing excellent demonstration of it and also comprehensively explaining why it works and how it works. The stretch I get from it is just amazing and it makes me get way more out of less weight. I also pause at the bottom in the deep stretched position. I really focus on stretch mediated hypertrophy as you recommend and I’ve improved immensely. I get really sore every single time after doing only around 2 sets of them. I’ll definitely add more when I’ll need more but for now 2 sets work like a charm. Really appreciate your presence in the fitness community because without you I wouldn’t have made as much gains or improved as much and would’ve been training in a quite suboptimal manner. Fitness community need individuals like you and Jared to guide them in the right direction with the best and most suitable training philosophy for hypertrophy. @@breki92 I loved it! I did it while holding a pair of dumbbells so the stability demand was a little bit higher as compared to the smith machine version. Smith machine version is definitely superior for hypertrophy as you can really focus on the mind muscle connection and not have to focus a ton on balance. I did it with dumbbells as that’s what I had access to because I’m currently training at home gym. I stacked a few plates on top of each other to elevate my feet. The stretch on the quads and glutes is like no other. It’s seriously out of this world. I started with only two working sets for each leg so I don’t get too sore and focus on mastering the technique with high quality work only. It’s a great exercise. Just focus on a slow and controlled descent and pausing at the bottom so you can get more out of less weight and make better gains. 👍

    I've been enjoying the videos focusing on female training, especially lower body exercises. It would be great to have more content about female training splits and how to maintain a smaller upper body. I've noticed that even with leg exercises that engage the upper body, my upper body muscles tend to become dominant. I've even been injecting Botox into my traps, biceps, and triceps to keep them from growing, but I'd like to find a more effective solution without sacrificing training.

    • @Twenty-Seven
      @Twenty-Seven ปีที่แล้ว +8

      That's a terribly unhealthy mindset to have for your fitness goals. The only way you're going to make progress is by changing the way you think about it first. As a female, your upper body is not going to get very muscular whatsoever. Botox in your biceps and triceps though? Come on...

How is it possible to reach the top end of MRV (e.g. +20 sets/week) on all the other muscles with this amount of exercises and especially if frequency is like twice a week? Or is it because its the beginning of a meso/other muscles or deprioritized? Would love to understand this bit
