Overhead conveyor for final assembly, Electric monorail system EMS, ASG Robotics

The Customer in automotive industry has ordered ASG Robotics to design an assembly shop for a new car model. The scope of work included the implementation of the project in a complex mode, on a “turnkey” basis - from development to commissioning of the equipment. That project included the implementation of an overhead assembly conveyor - Electric monorail system (EMS) based on modular sections of steel structures. We considered the technological features of the Customer's production and adapted our standard modular solution.
This project includes the following equipment: an electric overhead monorail conveyor for final assembly (EMS), a set of car suspensions (hangers, carriers) for moving bodies through assembly stations, a monorail swivel mechanism (arrow) for moving suspensions (hangers, carriers) to a repair area, a marriage / decking station for docking a car body with an engine and mechanical chassis groups, a separated chassis sub-assembly area and a set of mobile assembly jigs (assembly pallets) with a lifting mechanism based on Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV).
