    I did this a long time ago but still watched the whole video anyway. Can't wait for Haunted House.

      That's great and thanks for watching.
      Haunted House looks so good, and the mechanics should work really well with the original concept of the game 🕹

    I installed a TB on my collectors vcs, but I mean to do the RAM at some point. I usually keep my 2600 + 7800 games on the main drive just to organize and they're not big at all

    • @ILoveStuffandSoDoYou
      @ILoveStuffandSoDoYou  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      For sure, those are all so small they can easily stay on the internal storage 🤘🕹

    I put 256 GB in mine and still have plenty of room so I just can't justify spending the extra money on a 1TB M.2 drive. But otherwise a good video.

    • @BrendonCarr
      @BrendonCarr ปีที่แล้ว +2

      1TB M.2 drives are $45 these days - the cost of six McNuggets, fries, and a drink.

    • @ILoveStuffandSoDoYou
      @ILoveStuffandSoDoYou  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      as @BrendonCarr said, they are much cheaper now... the one I use was only $40
      I did not see any reason to get a smaller one to save the few bucks now. But when they first came out 3 years ago, man they were still priced very high.
      Technology prices go down so fast over the years.
      Makes me think of the USB stick I used in college, it was only 32GBs but it cost me $80! Not only is that small now but super high priced 😎🕹

      Heck I have 2TB but I use it as a windows drive. I wonder if I can partition it to work as both a windows drive and an Atari VCS drive?

      Hmmm that is a good question. I'm not sure myself but I bet someone over on the Discord would know 👍@@redleader7988

    Great video! I upgraded my daily driver to 1 TB too. I have 32 GB RAM but haven't done that install yet.
    P.S. the fanzine is up as of today. I sent you the link!

      Nice! That's great... if you upgrade to the 32 I think it works best if you adjust the bios. ETA Prime goes into detail on this if you want to get the full use out of them.
      I checked out the Fanzine and it turned out incredible. Almost brought a tear to my eyes reading this beautiful (Atari Age, Nintendo Power) like magazine!
      And right when I didn't think it could get any better, there I was! Thanks again for this opportunity, the article turned out fantastic. 🕹🕹🕹

    Hey Podan, great video. Got inspired and bought the same parts and installed this past weekend. I was wondering if you having any problems with your VCS. Mines is kind of glitchy. It randomly freezes and sometimes get a green screen. Bought my VCS last year. Had to do flash it to get it to work, and had to flash it again on the last big update. Do you think I should put back the original ram to get the vcs stable and not randomly freeze?

      @ILoveStuffandSoDoYou  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Dang that sucks, I would say yeah with the ram, at least try that to see if the problem stops. Maybe you got bad ram or drive. If swapping the ram back does not fix the problems, I would take the drive out to. If you find the ram is causing the problem, I would return it to get a new set, might have just been bad ram as I have not seen any issues since I updated mine 👍

      I will not be covering any PC mode stuff with my VCS. Mine will be used exclusively as a video game console 🕹
      You can find this information form a number of other TH-camrs, such as ETA Prime, MadlittlePixel or SpawnWaveMedia 👍

    Does anyone know why the Atari VCS controllers are no longer available on the Atari website?

    • @ILoveStuffandSoDoYou
      @ILoveStuffandSoDoYou  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Not sure, they may sell out but I do see them come back in occasionally.
      You can also find them through Best Buy or Ebay (best buy sells them on there too) 🕹
