This device saved my reading life. It is so easy to see the print and adjust the font. I have hundreds of books on my Kindle. I love the wireless charging on my Signature Edition. I don’t have to charge it more than once a month.
@@AngieLiTV honestly, that’s the major difference between that and the other Paperwhites. I prefer wireless charging for almost everything. I guess the other thing is it came with no ads. For that price, it better not have ads lol.
@@AngieLiTVI bought signature edition bcus I like buying the option with the most storage space, and no ad was huge for me. Wireless charging is a bonus as I don’t have wireless charger.
Damn, never thought I'd see so much love for kindles. I remember when I first got mine yrs ago I would mostly get a bunch of questions then after answering all the questions get told that e-books just aren't the same and physical books are better or how they'd rather read stuff on their phone. I'm literally so happy it's finally getting love without the hate and backhanded compliments 😭😭😭.
This made me appreciate my kindle so much more! I've had mine for a while now, but haven't been using it as much but now I feel inspired again! Thanks for making this video

I love being a Kindle girly! I design and make bookish Kindle clear case inserts to decorate your case and sell them on my Etsy shop Babe Cave Culture Co. It's so fun and I'm obsessed with making them! I have lots of designs on my shop for both the cardstock version that I print, cut, and send to you, and also printable versions that you can print out yourself. I add a few designs every week too-- I have soooo many ideas for them! It's my bookish girly dream job!! :)
I recently got a kobo Libra Colour as my first ereader. It’s been life changing for me actually. I can read way more as a stay at home mom it was not always accessible to grab a physical book with my children around. Now I can easily read because it just lays open and flat for me and it helps put me to bed too. I’m so happy with reading on an ereader. I must say that the kobo coming out in color and being able to write on books is what sold me because that’s a large part of the process being enjoyable for me. This ereading thing is so new to me and I’m enjoying watching so many videos on it whether kindle or kobo etc
yeah two handed reading with a kid-- oof! Does kobo let you read magazine or would you still recommend a tablet? I know you can get magazines from the library too
i have a kobo libra 2 that i bought last year and love it. but i've started reading some graphic novels on it so maybe i should think of getting the one with color
@@AngieLiTV hey sorry for my late response, it’s my first ereader so idk if I’m missing something but I don’t think you can read magazines on it. I don’t see my magazines appear
Being disabled means that I cannot hold a book for more than a few minutes. With my Kindle, I can read for hours if I want to. I have about 4 500 books on my paperwhite and still have about 5.5 GB of space left. I plan to get another Kindle as soon as I can.
My first kindle paperwhite made me sell all my physical books and NO REGRETS whatsoever about it. Today I have my kindle oasis and my kobo libra 2 and I do love switching between them. ❤❤
I have chronic pain and it’s hard for me to hold regular books for a long time, especially the giant fantasy books I love reading lol sooo I’ve had the kindle since its very first iteration back when I was a kid 🥹 since then I’ve replaced it twice & I now have the 2022 basic model which is the smallest & lightest one yet 💖 I love it sm but have been wondering if I should switch to Kobo next time 🤔 I do think bookshelves full of actual books look very pretty but it’s just not practical for me & ebooks/audiobooks are just so much better in every way imo.
I really like my kindle and the reading experience u get on an ereader..but I will get a boox ereader now because in Germany it’s not possible to link your kindle to Libby and after trying and trying to make it work I give up and will now get an ereader that runs on android with app access..but I love how everyone decorates their kindles..so cute
I love the idea of the clear case with stickers, but it’s really annoying when you carry it in your purse next to you phone, because the magnets will turn it on and it starts flipping pages with all the movement 🥲
There's cases you can get that has a clear back with a solid cover. I understand why some wouldn't want to go that route, but it’s that extra level of protection with that extra level of customisation. Another idea would be a travel sleeve.
I love physical books, I am so old-school I know. But to be honest, I bought a Kindle just because of space. We have a really small apartment and there is just no space at all. All of the books I have I left in our house back in my origin country, at least I have a small library there. I miss them. I am also a member of our local library, I used to borrow books just to avoid buying and still enjoy reading but it's been awhile since I passed by to borrow books. So I decided to just try an e-reader. I love my Kindle 11. But yeah, I still miss the physical books...
In the UK - I was a little surprised when you said you were not eligible for KU on a new device because Amazon knew you already had a subscription. I have been a KU subscriber for ages, over the last couple of years I have bought a new paperwhite and a new Kindle and both times Amazon automatically paused my sub so that I was able to take advantage of the free three months. I didn't have to ring and wheedle or open a new account, it was entirely automatic, one of the few times Amazon has impressed me. ETA not sure if this is correct but I think I have read about people buying a Kindle Kids version then cancelling the kids subs - apparently the kids version comes without ads but there is no real difference between the devices?
I absolutely love my Kindle Paperwhite I use the Libby app as I have a library card and it's amazing plus it's free I don't use kindle unlimited. I appreciate you doing this video thank you 🙂

I don't have one of the newer generation Kindles but shouldn't every Kindle have an on-and-off button that you hold to prevent stuff like that?
