Oh my gosh...I love hearing that! :D I'm so thrilled it worked out for you. As long as you all keep watching I'll be here making the videos.
Thanks! :D I'm glad you liked the video! It's still a look I'm crazy proud of!
"You'll never get me copper!" HILARIOUS! I say that too when I hear sirens! Reminds me of all of the great old caper movies. Now I want to watch High Sierra!
Thank you so much! :D I'm thrilled that you enjoyed it...plus thanks for supporting a lil' youtuber like myself. lol It's funny growing up I always saw them in my Mom's drawer and I could never figure out what they were for (I didn't want to be caught snooping so I didn't ask...was practicing to be Sherlock when I grew up) so you are not alone.
Thanks! :D I'm glad you enjoyed it! It's such a fun style to wear and I get so many compliments when I wear this style.
Finally a tutorial thats useful for longer hair. thank you so much. I work for a series of 1920's Parties in Germany and always got freaked out with my hair. Pain is over now. yay!
the best video tutorial ever i have watch for the 1920 hairstyle...
I'm so glad you enjoyed this video, it is still one of my favorites as well! :D

I LOVE THIS!!!! I'm in my school play and was desperately looking for a hair tutorial like this!!!THANK YOU!!!!
Adorable! With The Great Gatsby coming out this look is so fun. Enjoyed very much, thank you.
I am glad she did such a great job! Tell her how much it would mean to us to have it on video!! YIPPEEE for the middy!!
Aw, thanks! :D I still am so happy with the way this looked turned out!
this is like the best vintage 20's look i've seen! thank you
I find that the traditional method is difficult to do on oneself. I'm happy that my video was able to help you out! :D
Yay...I'm glad you found it helpful! :D 1920s parties sound like so much fun!
OMG...I LOVE IT! I'm so beyond happy that you were able to use my videos to create a lovely look for your wedding! :D I'm sure you looked amazing and I hope you had a fabulous day! I so wish I could see how it look...plus now I'm curious as to what your dress looked like! lol
Fabulous! :D I'm so happy that my video was helpful! That sounds like a fun ball!
this is probably the best hair tutorial i have ever watched on youtube!
Thanks! :D Yeah, I'm still crazy proud of this video. lol And thanks for the sub...I look forward reading more of your comments!
Aw, thank you! :D I love the crisp ridges those clips give. I'd love to see you do a short hair version of this!
Finally a great fingerwave tutorial!!!! Love this!!!!
Thanks darlin'! :D I had a lot of fun wearing that look. I'm going to be playing with fingers waves a lot more now!
u have a natural gift, i dont think i cud do my own hair as neatly as you did yours. keep up the gud work
Oooo...yes, Lady Edith's wedding hair was amazing! :D Those clips are great especially if you have straight hair, really helps to define the waves.
Yay...I'm glad you found it helpful! I'd love to hear/see how things work out for you! :D
So far I'm liking the new cut! It's cut into a U shape so the back still is longish (between the shoulder blades) so at least you could still keep some length if you wanted to.
Love it, love it, love it!!!!! I cant' wait to try this. And yes, the Avengers is an amazing movie. I too am a bit of a geek...very much looking forward to Comic-Con San Diego!!
OMG....soooo looking for this tutorial!!! I've been here for hours and no video had what l was looking for. Thanks!
this is just what I was looking for! my school is having an Old Hollywood themed ball and I want my hair exactly like this. Thanks, this was great!
Super clear! Never watched this one before, don't know why, as finger waves are something I needed to learn!
Oh yes indeed I do! :D My first Doctor was Tom Baker and I've been in love with the show ever since!
Thanks! :D I think my favorite part of the movie is when he picked up Loki and just whapped him from side to side! LOL
Thank you darlin'! :D You with the planes and me with the police sirens. They go off every time I film and I don't live in a bad neighborhood...just on a busy street.
Wow, thank you...I try to walk through things so that someone at any level could pick it up. :D Well if you're going to love a superhero Batman is a pretty good one to love! lol You're so right...the tension was spot on. I just love how it balanced that and the humor and action.
I will be trying this tomorrow for a 1920s inspired bridal shower! I can't wait to post pictures to show you how it turns out!
Yay! How did it turn out!?! :D I'm sure you looked amazing!
Thanks! :D I'm so happy you enjoyed it!
I did this as an overnight wet set. You can either just let it air dry for a couple hours (wrap it in a pretty scarf and go about your day) or sometimes I use a small portable bonnet dryer (45 mins). I hope this helps. Thanks! :D
I was wondering if you slept in it. I sleep on my side so I’m going to buy a blow drying bonnet! My hair will take too long to dry otherwise! It’s down to my waist!
Wow! Really really good look, probably the best tutorial I've seen. I love how you actually keep it quite accurate with the waves close to the face, I found a lot of other people were doing a much later 30's/40's kind of thing which is nice but doesn't do a lot to capture the look and feel it would have had at the time. I mean, people were rushing about and dancing, imagine soft curls flapping around when you were trying to Charleston!
No, they were metal clips and wave clips which I got at Sally Beauty. I think you might be looking for those long combs, which I haven't seen anywhere either.
lol...well it's all fixed now because you are now! :D Glad to have you here!
Thanks! :D I'm so happy that I was able to help. I bet your client looked fabulous! :D
Aw, thanks! :D I bought that a while ago and never had the right hair for it until I did this look!
This is the only tutorial that has actually helped me omg thank you so much.
I JUST bought clips last week to work on finger waves! SPOOKY!!
Thanks! :D Don't tell the other hairstyles but this is the one I'm most proud of...it took a while to master. I bet your cousin looked fab...finger waves are so gorgeous!
Thanks! :D I love this style and it is indeed perfect for shorter hair! I'd love to hear (or even see) how it works out for you!
Thanks! :D This is still one of my favorite looks so I'm thrilled that you enjoyed it as well!
I've been searching for a good finger waving video for long hair for aages. Thank you, this look's amazing! Can't wait to try it! xxx
Wow...thank you so much! :D I really had a lot of fun with this look and it's still one of my favorites!
Loved this! Ive never seen a faux bob done with a hair donut or bun maker! So awesome! Great video! You are so pretty too!
Thank you! :D It's still one of my favorite styles and one of my favorite videos!
Thanks! :D This is still one of my favorite it videos and hairstyles!
this is fantastic!!!!!! it looks perfect!!!! I did my cousins hair like this for her wedding a couple weeks ago she looked gorgeous just like you! I love finger waves!
So cute! It came out really pretty and with your hair color it really glows. I don't know if I have the courage to try it but still - great job!
Thank you...I love this look, fingerwaves are so iconic and I wanted to make the process as easy as possible. :D
Did my first finger waves yesterday with your video....they are really good! Need some perfection for the second side, but the main part is perfect, Thanks! I'm normally wearing 40s/50s hairstyle, but I'm definetly gonna try this again! Love from Germany, Anne
Thanks! :D Finger waves are so fun but they definitely took some practice for me!
Just want to say a huge Thank YOU!! thanks to your tutorials, mainly this one I was able to do my own hair for my wedding last month :) I did a similar version of this look with a nice hair piece and veil over my face. It was stunning!! and i could not have done it, if i hadn't found you videos so thank you :)
thank you so much for this wonderful video! I tried this hairstyle yesterday and it worked great thanks to your tutorial! please don't ever stop making these videos!!!
Yay...for banishing fingerwave fears! :D I want to hear how they turn out when you do them!
Yay! :D I'm glad my video was able to help!
I am indeed! :D Thank you so much for the lovely compliments! :D
Whoa! Flawless! I love how thorough you were in explaining how it's done and I always wondered what those shallow hair clips were for, waving...
Thanks! :D This was one of those styles that I was so stupid happy when I got it to work! lol
Why thank you so much...that's so nice to hear...puts a smile right on my face! :D
Thanks! :D I've got another great tutorial coming up in celebration of Gatsby! yay!
Thanks! This is still one of the looks I am most proud of! :D
Wow...thank you! :D I had so much fun with this look and wear it alot!
I stumbled onto this finger wave video from 3 years ago..... I still love your humor and style ....but you have only gotten better and prettier! xoxo
Crystal Cain Aw...thanks so much! It's strange for me to see me in brown hair now. lol
It should work fabulously! Be sure to use gel on your wet hair to get the extra hold and once your faux bob is pinned in place jump around to make sure it's pinned securely! For added strength in your pins criss cross them when you slip them in. Have a great time!
I'm so happy you've found this helpful! Finger waves was one of the hardest styles for me to "get" and I was so thrilled when I finally figured it out...I'm glad I was able to pass it on! :D
Thanks! :D I was waiting for the perfect hairstyle to wear that with too!
This look totally works for you! :D I love that you used a very different method than I'm used to seeing. I'm new to this style and am struggling with the traditional method, so I'm glad to have found your video!
Thanks! :D This is still one of my favorite styles!
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I am so glad its understandable and simply explained,iv been looking for something to help master this for years and I finally got it!
All your tutorials are great! Did you know you have the best fingerwave video out there. I'm trying it tonight, wish me luck!!
Fabulous! I'm sure you not only looked wonderful but performed fabulously as well. :D I love those hair nets...I use them almost every night to keep my rollers from unraveling!
Thanks! :D I am not a hairstylist, just a girl who loves playing with her hair!
Wow...that is a lovely compliment! Thank you! :D
Thanks! :D I love my glasses and I'm proud to be a geeky girl!
Yay! :D I'm so glad you enjoyed it! :D
You are sooo right! :D It's funny that you say that though...I was entertaining my friend at the movie theater by busting out into the Charleston dance with full gusto! lol
Beautifully done! I really appreciate and love the 1920's hairstyles and it seems as though no one was really able to master it as well as you have! This hairstyle is by far my FAVORITE look and you did it so perfectly. Kudos to you :) It looks lovely. Great hair color by the way :D
Yay! What a fun night! i'd love to hear how it turns out! :D
That’s awesome! It looks so much easier than the other videos I’ve watched! Thank you soooo much! That will be perfect for our 20’s party coming up!
Darling, you're my new favorite youtube personality! I think you're the absolute cutest and seem like a lot of fun to hang out with :) Also, you're the first useful faux-bob tutorial I've found and I'm definitely doing this for my wedding...
Thanks, that such a nice compliment. :D I'd love to hear how it works out and feel free to reach out to me with any questions.
Thanks! :D lol...you're cracking me up with that image of Charleston dancers with flappy hair! tee hee
Thank you! :D Best of luck...I'd love to hear how it turns out!
and...thank you for such a great compliment!
I love hearing that! :D I agree, it is fun to wear some 30s looks every once in a while! Lieben aus den USA!
Beautiful! Thank you for the advice on pin curls as well. I am definitely going to go the layers route, I believe, and take some length off because its too hard to keep a good vintage hairstyle! Thanks again!!
That is one of my favorite compliments! Thank you! :D
Thanks! :D This is still one of my favorite looks!

LOL...you literally made me laugh at loud...and at work too! :D I'm going to definitely be playing around with variations on the finger wave look!
