She feels super mid. Has no niche and is greatly outclassed by many. At least thats her caster playstyle... as a weapon platform with the augment for her 1 she can be insanely strong, but I wanted her to be a strong caster.

I'm curious why you used Transient Fortitude on the tanky build, can you explain? This is mostly a nitpick since the -duration really only amounts to about -7 seconds on Eclipse and slightly higher Immolation drain/s. The build uses Augur Reach already, do you think Transient could be replaced by Augur Secrets for a bit of strength +additional economy on the energy to shield conversion?
inferno does not have an enemy cap, only an energy consumption cap! you can hit as many enemies as you want and it will only ever consume 100 energy, and this CAN be reduced by efficiency
Fun fact: Melee afflictions works with status effects caused by warframes and the stacks of status melee affliction adds to enemies is affected by melee elementalist and melee faction damage mods. The best melee weapon to utilize this build with Ember is sampotes as each separate shockwave from sampotes can trigger melee afflictions multiple times on the same enemy for multiple fire procs that are being boosted by faction damage and melee elementalist and the shockwaves cover a massive area hitting groups of enemies. It's literally a fire quake Ember setup

So I tried to buy her only to find out you can't buy normal frames from players with plat. So I was like. Alright fine how about the prime? Eventually someone sold it to me. Buuuuut I only had 20 plat. Again. I was new. I didn't realize the rates these things went for. But the player was so generous and saw how much I just wanted the frame. That they not only gave me all 4 parts for 20 plat! But they helped me farm the stuff to build her. To this day years later she is my strongest frame. Any mission I take her in. All that's left after I leave is piles of ash. .... AND NOW THEY BUFFED HER?!
4:00 allies receive 50% OF IMMOLATIONS damage reduction, not 50% damage reduction. IMMOLATION has a cap of 90%DR. Receiving 50% of 90%DR means you receive 45%DR.
Since I don't have a maxed out Energize, I sometimes run into energy issues. I've had a few times I just run out of energy even with Exothermic on. I fixed it by using Nourish but I decided to use Roar for more damage. So I switched from using Exothermic to Equilibrium. I just use my companion to generate the Health Orbs with Synth Deconstruct. So if anyone doesn't have Energize maxed out yet for whatever reason, Equilibrium is a decent option if your companion has a reliable way to use Synth Deconstruct. I just built a Nautilus with Duplex Bond and Helstrum. It ends up proccing Synth Deconstruct pretty often.
i use exothermic, equi AND max energize and sometimes run out of energy...ember is one of the few frames that dont work for me no matter which build i try =(
The roar over fireball is the most fun I've had with a caster frame in this whole game. Dante doesn't come even close (especially because he is too loud loool). Good to see that build on this list and that it is your favorite too!

I personally use a dark orange on the first emissive and dark purple in second emissive colour regions. This obviously also works with energy colour or two colour region that work well together
I tried ember after she came out of prime resurgence, my build revolves around overall high base stats with lower-ish duration. Mostly efficiency and range with sickening pulse over fireball and five tau yellows for casting speed and energy orb effectiveness. Then I spam the hell out of inferno at 190% range and I can alternate between spamming inferno and spamming fire blast for like 4 energy per meteor and 10 energy at full burn still with neutral or higher strength due to her passive and molt augmented
I haven’t played ember since she lost world of fire, but I picked her up for the first time yesterday and she’s amazing now. I don’t even miss world of fire anymore with how her kit flows together and still smacks the steel path
Eh I feel like if the heat swirl ring itself on Inferno would just proc heat every tick she'd be perfect On a sidenote, check out Arcane Steadfast (Makes every single meteor from an Inferno cast free if it's active) and the Mecha set for Ember You'll see some nutty results
Im currently running with ember a pretty decent build in my opinion Helminth is nourish or roar but build stays the same mod wise, roar is so i can see stupid numbers for dopamine and nourish is for confort Mod wise i run: -Brief respite ez pick for ember -Cunning drift and stretch for a 40m range on her 3rd and 4rth ability so her passive can stay consistently higher since it triggers on enemies affected by heat procs within 50m range - transient fortitude and umbral intesify for 99% strength -primed flow - archon intensify double heat procs good. -primed continuity -healing flame for tanking - energy nexus, ik ik odd pick considering she has an energy drain but if you take in to account the actual down time of that 90% immolation you gain much more energy than one would think, even more so with nourish, ever since i put this mod on its been real ez to keep energy with ember specially on less enemy dense areas like the open worlds making it so i can use her in any content regardles of enemy density requiering less on the orbs and being somewhat self sustaining, streemline is a good alternative here. For arcanes (on nourish helmith) i run molt augmented and efficientcy, i would run ages but i dont have it, for the roar helmith i run molt augmented and energize For archon shards 3 tau amber shards 2 casting speed and 1 energy orb effectivnes and 1 tau purple for equilibrium, preferably tauforged the 5th one is up on debate if anything a bit of strength or duration from tau crimson shards
For those that don't have Energize: work through the story missions to get access to Archon Shards. 2-3 yellows for energy orb effectiveness does the job even better than Energize (no proc chance and cooldown, you always get the increased energy). Ember also doesn't need anything else from the shards ^_^
I feel stupid having sold my ember back when I started warframe. Welp, here's to farming her again. Quick suggestion: I see many creators exploring builds and mods, but it would be awesome if you added were to get/farm said mod, if possible. Just an annotation on which node to go for under the mod would be a game changer for people who are lost in the game like me.
Still kinda meh tbh, like at least she has some nice defense now but even then it’s the weakest of all the overguards, but for me it was always more about her offensive short falls which are still there, Los on her 3 and 4 kinda hold her back, and the dmg well better is still pretty low, when compared to frames like equinox, saryn, gyre, ect she just isn’t that good, used her for deep archamedia, failed like 10 times, switched to frost and passed easy. I wanna like ember but all the effort went into the skin and not her buff, and it shows, it’s a super cool skin.

About the ulitmate tank buld... NAH UH *locks in* Try parasite armor from helminth + primed redirection + 195% strengh, there you got 90% DR, no weak to toxin, open to use rage/adrenaline without the shields bothering around... Yeah you just fix the health part and thats it
What build would you personally recommend if you want to bring Ember to level cap void Cascade, if you were able to take her to that level? Amazing video btw!
I just want to mention something that easily to forgot/missed out. it's that if your warframe has damage reduce on, while you switch to your Operator, they still would get hurts, that will cause some bad situations if u need to use operator a lot, such like revival team mate, or Void Cascade, Elite deep archimedea. So you can simply turn it off but hassle, I consider it a good option to replace her 2nd skill with other ones, and if u doing shield/over guard gate, you would need to cast 3rd skill a lot and might not have much chance to cast it at 90% of the meter, and enemies armor still can easily to strip off within 2-3 cast of 3rd skill.
I've been playing Thermal Sunder over her 1. Tactical Potato suggested it, I tried it, it's really nice. Easy way to set everything around on fire without dropping the heat gauge, and the detonation from the Cold side is handy. Otherwise, basically a health tank build w/ Augmented and Energize arcanes. I liked Ember before, but what really hurt her was the old LoS checks. The energy economy stuff was really nice, making her much more playable, but fixing the LoS issues so her 3 can hit enemies that on the same floor level as her (hills were a nightmare) was the best part. She's so much fun now. And come on, that heirloom skin...even if it didn't have such tremendous ASSets it'd be a fantastic skin.

Given that she's a caster, she synergises really really well with the Huras Kubrow (and Stalk Augment). Perma-invis = Immortality. Just got off a 2 hour SP Survival solo run, works like a charm! Give it a try? Great vid btw!

you forgot her best buidl wich is a weapon buffer giving up to 400+% heat dmg with her 1st ability augment and being able to subsume her 4th for another dmg buffs like nourish/roar/eclipse
praise be to you and your friend for the 'tank' build - gotta be one of my favs. eclipse is so chill, and lets u blast away (abilities or wpns ) = yummy
Proboscis Cernos is great for Ember. It groups enemies so ur inferno does more damage. I have it moded for heat/corrosive and when it explodes it does viral as well
I just can't play without Eclipse now, as weapon platform + verglas but using Eclipse for the dmg reduction part, easly allows me to do w/e I really want, if I rly struggle imma just put glaive one, that one fix for all weapon. 100% no stress skin enjoying mode :D edit: As much as skin poured new life in Ember, tbf even more I can't wait for Saryn's heirloom, every other weapon platform just side-grade from Saryn ;_;
Have you tried Fleeting Expertise on her? That's what i went with and Nourish on 1. After seeing Gaupee's video though, i need to put Fracturing Blast from citrine on her. Energy orbs everywhere and they're primed with elements

My ember is a bit jack of all trades, but also not optimal and "good" build probably. Dreamer's Bound and Power Drift Archon Vitality Umbral Intensivity Umbral Fiber Primed Flow Transient Fortitude Primed Continuity Reach Owerextend With Nezha on her 1 for mobility and heat passive of defence missions. Mistical Accumulator and Molt Augmented In Archon shards i have +30% to power +75% energy orb effectiveness +450 to armour For a total of 850 Energy 235% range 195% power 128% duration Pretty tanky, nucking whole rooms and locations. mobile and a bit harder to energy-economy, but since everything is burning without even coming close to me, i can just use my always active 1-2 (Nezha walk and Ember flame protection) to run around and get all energy from bodies of enemies.
So I run a Gloom Ember setup (replacing her 1). I build for efficiency, range, and strength. You use her passive to snapshot the strength into Gloom for the 95% slow (75% ability strength is all you need from her passive.). Arcanes I run are Energize and Molt Augmented. Build is Brief Respite, Cunning Drift, Primed Continuity, Primed Flow, Stretch, Transient Fortitude, Catalyzing Shields, Fleeting Expertise, Healing Flame, and Exothermic. Energy upkeep feels nice between Exothermic and Energize. Pretty dang fun. Everything is slowed and on fire and you're pretty tanky with the overguard. If you're OG breaks you have your shield gate right there. Which is easy to upkeep with catalyzing. So you end up with a build with multiple layers of defense between Gloom slow, shield gate and OG gate. Yeah you're not getting the double heat procs from Archon Vitality, but the build more than makes up for it by feeling very comfortable and you can easily spam with no worries.
Hot take for everyone but sarin flip the mod that cotes weapons with their element buff or apply it on bc it’s the only thing that makes most of those abilities useful and it’s annoying to have it on my frame lol
She's better but I personally would like to see Ember's 2 and 3 skill combined. Use press&hold to activate/deactivate Immolation and tap to Fire Blast. Put a new skill in 3rd slot and rework the 4th.
Hey thanks for the video. Im using the general build with quick thinking but it just doesn’t do any ability damage. The dots are maximum 1000 and the hits are usually just around 6k. Is there something im missing?

you forgot her best buidl wich is a weapon buffer giving up to 400+% heat dmg with her 1st ability augment and being able to subsume her 4th for another dmg buffs like nourish/roar/eclipse
praise be to you and your friend for the 'tank' build - gotta be one of my favs. eclipse is so chill, and lets u blast away (abilities or wpns ) = yummy
Proboscis Cernos is great for Ember. It groups enemies so ur inferno does more damage. I have it moded for heat/corrosive and when it explodes it does viral as well
After looking at her hairloon skin I almost became a ember main
All though she is nice I think they could’ve done more with her to make her even better

I just can't play without Eclipse now, as weapon platform + verglas but using Eclipse for the dmg reduction part, easly allows me to do w/e I really want, if I rly struggle imma just put glaive one, that one fix for all weapon. 100% no stress skin enjoying mode :D
edit: As much as skin poured new life in Ember, tbf even more I can't wait for Saryn's heirloom, every other weapon platform just side-grade from Saryn ;_;
The dmf reduction is only 45% bc it says it gives half of the dmg reduction and half of ember's max dmg reduction is 90% therefor 50% of 90 is 45 :)
Have you tried Fleeting Expertise on her? That's what i went with and Nourish on 1. After seeing Gaupee's video though, i need to put Fracturing Blast from citrine on her. Energy orbs everywhere and they're primed with elements
You can sacrifice tolling gusrd for something else as overguard will tank any status procs

Pretty tanky, nucking whole rooms and locations. mobile and a bit harder to energy-economy, but since everything is burning without even coming close to me, i can just use my always active 1-2 (Nezha walk and Ember flame protection) to run around and get all energy from bodies of enemies.

I'm brand new to Warframe. She is the first frame I'm planning to farm for.
If youre brand new i would recommend getting Rhino ! and then go for any frame you want to farm!
So I run a Gloom Ember setup (replacing her 1). I build for efficiency, range, and strength. You use her passive to snapshot the strength into Gloom for the 95% slow (75% ability strength is all you need from her passive.). Arcanes I run are Energize and Molt Augmented. Build is Brief Respite, Cunning Drift, Primed Continuity, Primed Flow, Stretch, Transient Fortitude, Catalyzing Shields, Fleeting Expertise, Healing Flame, and Exothermic.
Energy upkeep feels nice between Exothermic and Energize. Pretty dang fun. Everything is slowed and on fire and you're pretty tanky with the overguard. If you're OG breaks you have your shield gate right there. Which is easy to upkeep with catalyzing. So you end up with a build with multiple layers of defense between Gloom slow, shield gate and OG gate.
Yeah you're not getting the double heat procs from Archon Vitality, but the build more than makes up for it by feeling very comfortable and you can easily spam with no worries.
Gloom is a cheatcode!

Hot take for everyone but sarin flip the mod that cotes weapons with their element buff or apply it on bc it’s the only thing that makes most of those abilities useful and it’s annoying to have it on my frame lol
my problem was that i sent her to helminth BEFORE THE REWORK- i made a mistake and now i have to refarm her

She's better but I personally would like to see Ember's 2 and 3 skill combined. Use press&hold to activate/deactivate Immolation and tap to Fire Blast. Put a new skill in 3rd slot and rework the 4th.

Immolated Radiance gives 50% in other words half of the immolation meter

Hey thanks for the video. Im using the general build with quick thinking but it just doesn’t do any ability damage. The dots are maximum 1000 and the hits are usually just around 6k. Is there something im missing?

The ember pyraxis skin gives you the shoulder pads! it pairs so well with the heirloom skin! It looks like "battle armor" or like shes a queen
