The best timely podcast!! I felt like this conversation was completely revolved around me. Me being an auditor who's subject to a desk job with prolonged sitting and stress, I've suffered from chronic body pains since over a year. Beginning with 2 disc herniations on the lower lumbar region leading to crippled legs(sorted after physiotherapy and exercises), upper back and neck pain and now at this point, pain on both knees.
Every detail spoken during this podcast was totally relatable. As though words were taken from my own mouth. I'd always wished if someone openly talked about this issue. Thank you for putting this truth bomb!!
Health is truly wealth guys! Dumb junk food and put your heart and soul into proper exercises.

@@harishmandloi2998 Bridge and bird bog exercises are great for lumbar (lower back) pain. If done regularly (3 sets - 10-12reps), will improve your mobility. Bridge exercise also helps with muscle pain on our knees.
Also, try to incorporate strength training into your routine by going to the gym. It's vital to strengthen our muscles and bones. Ensure to intake sufficient protein(via food and if possible a bit of quality protein powder incase you're to going the gym).
Remember, don't overdo any exercise or heavy workout. Let's listen to our body's ability to withstand pain.

🙏🏼my body evolved. Several h/day the pain is insignificant. After the sleep and walk it hurts the most (unbearable). But! I am literally “talking” to my back and rub the most painful area with knuckles. Lay on the ground/floor with calfs fully resting on a bench/bed. Best if I fall asleep so! + I read about the chemical processes that develop for prolonged(almost 3weeks) sharp pain and decided to take quercetine & bromelain to foster the cleaning of fibrosis (as I move a little). + almost no carbohydrates to avoid the inflamation increase. And the most “unpleasant” is I force myself to walk. This all makes me be deeply grateful for my body and how much wisdom it has to self-regulate when “the owner” had little-no care of it.
      🙏🏼

Great effort in specifically differentiating preventative care & palliative care. It’s so valuable that medication is fooling your bodies and producing additional damages rather than helping. Preventing Medicine is by far the most vital & needful approach the society should be considering. Rehabilitation Science is the future of being healthy. Many doctors are less clinical and more Commercial.

As a physiotherapist, meri advice rahegi to all who work from a chair that please dont sit for extended amounts of time, take a breather of 2-5 mins, hydrate yourself, stretch muscles atound your key pressure areas: neck, back, wrist, hips, knees and ankles which would go much to relieve you of any injuries which happen due to maintaning same posture for long time.

I have consistently done resistence ,sprinting and every possible exercise on and off.Even walking, hiking and climbing.
Weight training is one workout that always keep in my weekly schedule.

I got back pain because of unevenly bearing muscle mass. When I used to practice bodybuilding I had heavy back muscles and low muscle mass in my chest. Also after 40 I was diagnosed with pre osteoporosis. This led to Extreme back pain. Unfortunately I had to stop building muscles in the gym and I walk 7 kms every day. I still have pains sometimes but much better than before.

Soo true when she said you have to loose fat and gain muscles...
Most of ignorant people think they are healthy by being chubbier or bulky and keep making fun of me for being skinny....the best part is my parents are not ignorant..they don't want me to get chubbier or obese like others...they want me to stay fit....
