Man thanks so much for making this video. I just bought one last year from a friend that he inherited and neither he or I had a good understanding of how it worked. Thanks again for your information and effort.

Have you found any info on yours? I’ve got one and all it says is plow hoss on it. No numbers words anything.. it’s got a 5hp briggs. I’ve got it running but can’t figure out the hand brake.

I never heard of a row buster with a planter. Generally row buster have turn plow and a sweep

Seems like they travel alittle too fast. Slower would be better. Also appears top heavy and hard to handle.

Very top heavy, but it beats using a Kentucky push plow

Not really, I have yet to see an old one go any higher than 75-100 range, and that's super clean. Mine needed repair, and I remember giving 30 for it.

There is a company called Maxim that still makes the Plow Hoss. I don't believe it has the Briggs and Straton engine on them, like mine does.

These have "gear reduction" engines so repowering them is near impossible.

The motors are still out there, and there is a 6/1 reduction box that fits a Honda GX160, so if you are willing to spend the money, they can be repowered.

    Looks difficult to use.

Not really, once you get a handle on how to use it. It works wonders on a garden. You can change the implements on it to do all sorts of plowing
