Trust me after a while of parenting I've seen plenty of people who just ignore children arguing. One got a dislocated ankle and they just thought their sobbing for weeks on end when walking was some weird playing.

No reboot can come close to this amazing show. They put the right cast together and it all boils down to chemistry. And these ladies had some of the best chemistry onscreen.
No matter how many times I watch the GOLDEN GIRLS clips, I crack up every single time I see them.

A once in a lifetime show with a perfect cast! It showed that being a senior citizen didn't mean you were useless or to be forgotten.
Mr. Zbornack was perfectly cast as well. Love them!
Funnily enough I have never thought of people past 55 as useless/finished/etc even when I was a teen I loved the company of much older family members over 50 than younger people. They seemed so wise and laid back compared to young ones.

Yes, people over 50 can be a bit weird and more stubborn than others sometimes but I mean, they're from a completely different time. But I think old people have so much chill and they have the best stories to tell. Being old shouldn't be seen as negatively as it is.

Kris Barnes I Love Lucy, Golden Girls, Seinfeld and Corner Gas (if you don’t know it, it’s a Canadian show that took Seinfeld-type writing to a higher plane). They deserve their own network, just those 4 shows running on endless loop.

I'm watching these TV clips less than a week after Betty White's death. Now they are all gone. There will never be another show with this much chemistry, talent, unspoken replies with a cleverly timed look. A hard act to follow.
