String gauge and tuning for that beauty pls

I believe it's in Drop G# but tuned in the way of Dadgade... Just shifted down to a low G# instead of D.
Also John Browne uses 10 - 52's on his 6 strings tuned down to D and C# so I assume anything that feels similar in tension to that on a 7 string may possibly be close to what he uses here but I could be wrong.

In my opinion, the melody was great up to 1:25 minute where it became clogged, in my opinion from the wrong note, I think it was necessary to play something like a an open string or 2nd time the slide, maybe back, it sounds unfinished.
