I think it's easily the best dance audition I've ever seen in any talent show; and I've watched a LOT! I never get rid of this one that I watch from time to time since it went out, many years ago. The moves are great, the music is great (ANYONE? Please, I wanna know), and the comedy too.

I just watch it in 2020 for first time and he impressed me more even than fikshun ! his energy is amazing ! His outstanding skills and the amazing sense of humor in his dance are amazing weapons for win !!

I know where you are coming from but I think the dumbfounded and joyous expressions on the judges' faces adds a lot to the whole experience. When those judging are rendered speechless you know something special is taking place.
Still watching in 2018, Robert is just an unbelievable popper/dancer.And you can know that if you watch any of the other videos he has made or contest he has been in since this one was uploaded. Killer Style.

I've comented before, but I say it again. I think Mouraine quit after the next round because the jury-guy ruined it for him. The warm-up move Mouraine was asked to repeat was going to be used later on in the competition. Any dancer's got a limited number of unseen, unexpected best moves. Since he was forced to show that one, he probably felt he's got no "save the best for last" to convince in the finals, 'cause in order to win he knew he'd have to provide the audience and jury with better acts.
