Very helpful and much appreciated. My cat was spayed yesterday and seems to have developed respiratory problems. It's the middle of the night and I'm very concerned cause she has a congested nose and a bit of trouble breathing. Thanks to your video I am nebulizing her right now with saline solution. Going to the vet first thing in the morning.
For those that asked below: the icepack is because it gets very warm when the medication is aerosolized, so the icepack helps keep your kitty at a more comfortable general temperature. It can be placed at the back of the carrier as well, if it seems more comfortable, so your kitty doesn't sit directly on it
Hi I'm just learning about nebulisers and asthma in cats, my cat has just recently been diagnosed with asthma or possibly COPD so I'm trying to learn how to nebulise him instead of trying to put the mask over his face as he's not liking it, I assume you don't use the asthma inhaler at all but instead use a liquid only specifically for the nebulizer ? Thank you :-)

Hi. Great demonstration! May I ask one question, please? Why do you recommend using an icepack?

Why ice pack??
I have a cat that has Herpes and heard that a nebulizer might be something to look into for him. Do you have any thoughts on that matter?
My cat has the same problem, and am considering asking my vet about it.
Oh my, the lawnmower noise would give my cat a heart attack. Why not use a silent, portable nebulizer?
