- This Trader Joe's taste test may be one of my husband's favorite in a long time because we tasted the NEW guava sparkling beverage and you better believe he loved it!

My mother had a massive stroke on Christmas Day 1999. She survived and we were lucky enough to have her in our lives for 15 more years. Those 15 Mothers Days were my favorite. Chinese food was her favorite and she particularly liked the food from a restaurant near my home. I would pick some up and bring it to their home and we would enjoy the food and wine.
Tim’s face was like an excited little kid when he picked up the box of guava juice. 😂
Honestly, I think people watch you guys as much for the food reviews as they do for relationship guidance. The two of you complement each other, appreciate each other and disagree respectfully.

My favorite Mother's Day memory is today's! We celebrated early & had a great lunch. I got the best card from my grandson who is autistic and wrote "I love you Grandma" and wrote his name! 😊 He is making so much progress this last year and I am so grateful! Last Mother's Day was definitely one of my favorites. It was also my granddaughter's 21st birthday and she was doing an internship in northern MI. Our whole extended family gathered in a vacation rental nearby and we celebrated her birthday and Mother's Day for all the moms. My son, his father and brother-in-law prepared breakfast for all the moms, and my son had gotten us all little plants and decorations for the table. It was a day filled with love and joy.

Happy Mother's Day to you, Katie! I don't have kids, but I do have niblings. My favorite Mother's Day memory was a few years ago when my nieces and nephews made me feel especially loved and appreciated. I've spent a lot of time with all of them and have sometimes taken on a mothering role with them.

Here's a tip for your dressing, if you want it to be more tangy, it really comes down to the vinegar to oil ratio, but also the type of vinegar. For a shallot vinaigrette, I highly recommend a champagne vinegar. I know white wine vinegar tends to be the most common vinegar for a shallot vinaigrette, but champagne vinegar readily elevates it.

The chickpea pasta is, in my opinion, delish. Plus it has, I think, more protein per serving than wheat based pasta. That's a good thing for us vegetarians. Katie, could you post your recipe for shallot dressing? Or, if you have posted it elsewhere, let me know where! I saw that dressing when I was in TJ's but didn't buy it because of the canola oil. Happy Mother's day, Katie ❤ My favorite mom's day memory is when my 3 children were younger, they surprised me one year with breakfast, lunch and dinner in bed. They insisted I stay in bed and relax all day ~ they all had sweet gifts and I felt so loved and special.
I love chickpea pasta and guava so I have a feeling I will really enjoy both items. I prefer to make my own salad dressings but Trader Joes does have some good ones in the refrigerated area. I have so many precious memories of Mothers Day spent with my dear mom and grandmothers too. I miss them all so very much. My favorite Mothers Day memories with my daughter when she was little was when she and my husband would make me breakfast in bed. They made sure I did not get out of bed and brought me the Sunday newspaper to read while I waited. Then they would bring whatever they had made on a folding tray and my daughter always made me homemade cards that I cherished. My daughter always made sure she made toast with her "special recipe" that was just peanut butter and swirled strawberry jam. Had to be swirled. Ha. My biggest memory is that my mother gave my brother and I 25 cents each to buy her a gift at the 5& dime store in our tiny town. She knew it meant more to us to give than her receiving. Had we not been able to give her something, we would have been crushed.
I have two Mother's Days that come to mind. One was the year that I was very pregnant with my first child and I was so disappointed that the baby wasn't born yet. It seemed like forever for her to come into this world. But the year after, my baby girl was almost 10 months old and it was the first time that I celebrated Mother's Day. It was so very special for me and my husband.

You should compare the Trader Joe’s chickpea pasta to the Aldi’s chickpea pasta
Went to TJs NYC on this eve (Sat) and couldn’t believe how well stocked it was. Shoutout to the amazing employees! Managed to get the chicken enchiladas, the guava juice and amazingly both the rice balls from last week and the new Japanese cheese cakes! Thanks for mentioning them as I probably wouldn’t have even noticed.
I’m not lucky enough to be a mom but as a doula I’ve been a part of many wonderful mom’s journeys. Happy Mother’s Day!

Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers of all varieties! My favorite memory was when my kids were tiny and my husband got a babysitter so we could go to a special botanical gardens Mother's Day dinner. It was such a beautiful time of year to be in the gardens and I cherish that memory so much!

My favorite Mother's Day is any time I can spend with both my sons! They are both adults now, and one lives across the country, and tje other one lived 3 1/2 hours away. So, any time I get to spend with both sons is very precious to me!
I don’t remember any specific Mother’s Day’s. My mother was the best and instilling good morals and always leading us to our interests with love in her heart. ❣️ Never had chickpea pasta but have put them in my regular pasta. Yum.

Before I became a vegetarian I ate a lean cuisine that the chicken salsa verde reminds me of . Happy Mother’s Day! My favorite Mother’s Day memory is any Mother’s Day I can spend with my kids! That is amazing that Tim made you that swing! So thoughtful and amazing. Unfortunately my husband cannot build anything but shows his appreciation usually with flowers which is OK because I love flowers. 💐

I am blessed to have many wonderful memories with my Grandma, Mom, as a Mom to my kids and now as a Grammy of 8. I have so many wonderful memories that it's hard to single out one. I love watching my daughter and daughter-in-law be wonderful Moms too. Today 2 of my kids and 4 of my grandkids took me out to breakfast to celebrate. Having my kids and grandkids brings such joy in my life.❤️
I want to try the guava sparkling water and hope TJ's will consider selling a POG one (pineapple, orange and guava)
Looking forward to the Guava juice! I too am a big fan of the Watermelon Sparkling Juice (do not like the Strawberry). As for salad dressing, it does not require time to make ones own. I never buy pre-made dressings. To me, a sprinkle of EVOO, balsamic, and oregano does it. Sometimes I will put garlic in the olive oil the night before, but it is simple and does not require a process...happy mama day!
My mom passed away 9 years ago. I loved taking her a plant (as she loved gardening) a special gift and card & to share a nice meal. We appreciated her so much and she was grateful & pleased with us just being with her. She was a simple person & it was a joy honoring her every year.

Best memory is my parents lived in another state so we went to visit and spend Mother's day and oddly enough it would be the last time I saw my dad. He past that June but I hold that Mother's day as so special I got to be with him too.

0 I really enjoyed the taste test! Too bad those sparkling juice drinks don't have sugar free, for us diabetics but they sound delicious! And happy mother's Day to you! I have to say 2003 was one of the top ones and it was by total accident. I was taking my mom downtown and we were going to go to the experience music project Museum and have lunch and just have a fun day downtown and we stopped at the borders bookstore because I always went in there. As we went in there we could see a commotion going on upstairs and we decided to walk up the stairs and see what was going on and we could only get so far in the aisles before they were just too many people so we just stood there and suddenly we heard Cyndi lauper singing Time after Time. I just don't remember holding on to one of the book shelves in her on the other end and the look on our face, it was one of her favorite songs. And I had no idea she was performing at the bookstore that day at that moment, it's a memory that stays with me forever as my mom was such a music lover and taught me how to love music. :-)

My fave mother's day was flying to Florida to visit my best friend. She moved there from MN and it was my 1st time flying alone. We took a cruise and saw dolphins, sat on beach, had brunch on a pier, and went to a karaoke bar. No kids...sorry kids😮
Ok you mentioned Banza alongside this pasta, any time i cook Banza it turns out mushy, how do you cook it without being mushy? I only cook it for 6-8mins

You would LOVE my Mother's Day gift from my son. An assortment of 24 homemade macarons with these flavors - snickerdoodle, red velvet, sugar cookie, double chocolate, salted caramel and cappuccino. However, it still doesn't make up for being away from him.😪 He's in Madison, Wisconsin and I'm in south Florida.

My favorite Mothers Day was I was with my grandmother, my Mom and my three children because they my grandmother great grand children and they were special to them but hawaiian believe every day is day to honor your Mom and Dad and Tutu( hawaiian for grandmother) and Papa for for grandfather

I checked the ingredients and it's not Banza because Banza has xantham gum while this has guar gum and tapioca. Barilla has a chickpea pasta that is just chickpea...no gums.

I don't really have a great mother's day story, I still have a mother's day card that I was going to give my mother but I never got the chance, I haven't seen her since I was 4 years old and that was 43 years ago, right before I was planning to go, she passed away, I hope she knows how much I love her though ❤️

I haven’t returned anything to TJ’s in a long time BUT I am running, not walking, to TJ’s to hand back this vile dressing. It tastes awful. AWFUL. I don’t know what it is exactly but I will continue making my own. Save your money, the homemade is really good, simple, costs a lot less AND is made with olive oil!!!
