- We taste tested 8 different seasoning from Trader Joe's and mixed them into hummus. Watch until the end if you are interested in hearing which combinations were are favorites and which were our least favorites.

The Trader Joe's prices for their unique seasoning blends are an absolute bargain despite the high quality and I can't find a better deal anywhere for such products.
Agreed! I’ve bought a few of them and they are great for so many things. We don’t have Trader Joe’s nearby so I stock up when I’m there.
I’ve been on a hummus kick lately and usually go with garlic or red pepper hummus. My favorite add on is to drizzle the balsamic vinegar you showed quite awhile ago over it. So delicious !!
Hummus is made from chicken peas/garbonzo beans and tahini is made from sesame seeds. All the seasonings were interesting and a nice idea to change things up. Thanks for all you do because I watch all your shopping excursions and taste tests. I do go to the stores looking for quite a few things you've shown to try them myself. We agree on most everything like 95% of the time so cudos for being the guinea pig and getting me to try things I normally would have passed up.

This was fun! My favorite is the "In A Pickle" seasoning all the way! However I am sure I would really enjoy using my Green Goddess seasoning too in my homemade hummus. Thanks Katie and Tim.

This is such a great idea Katie, I buy a lot of spices and aside of putting them on veggies I never thought of adding them to something like hummus. I have made my own, it's amazing homemade and this would take it to the next level, thank you for sharing.

Taste testing the seasonings… What a great idea. I’ve often wondered what the seasonings taste like but don’t want to buy them if I’m not sure. I have three of them on hand now that I very seldom use but you’ve opened up a whole new thing for me. I’m going to do my own taste test tonight using sour cream, cream cheese, and hummus with the three various seasonings I have. Gonna be fun. Thanks for the heads up and the suggestions. This was a great idea!!!
Great video! I make my own and it's usually plain. Sometimes I blend in roasted red peppers. Thank you for the suggestions! The closest trader Joe's is an hour away and my daughter and I have a plan trip to go there Monday. Definitely going to pick up some of those seasonings

This was a great video and a great idea. I like the consistency of hummus but don't always like the flavors in the store. I'm going to try these. And I'm a regular popcorn eater - usually on the weekends when watching a movie. I love trying different flavors so will definitely try a few of these. Thank you!

Great idea! Love this format! I’m going to dip apples into my chocolate hummus! Can’t wait for the dill pickle seasoning to return! I have 1/2 a bottle left ! I’ll definitely be trying that with hummus and cucumbers! Wonderful video guys!
Fun video! The Green Goddess and Citrus Garlic seasonings are good on avocado toast. You can add them to hummus toast, too!
This was a very fun video! I like to add EBTB and the dill pickle seasoning to greek yogurt to have with veggies! I'll have to try the green goddess and ranch seasonings at Trader Joe's and try adding some seasonings to my hummus.
That green goddess seasoning is my favorite T.J.'s seasoning. I mostly use it on roasted vegetables. Fun video!

I have been wanting to try Everything But The Bagel seasoning for the longest time and my local grocery store was giving out hummus samples that had it mixed into it but it was way too salty for me! I was so disappointed but I feel had I controlled the amount I would have enjoyed it! Plus it was not from TJs either. This was a cute video idea too! I made homemade hummus years ago with tahini etc from a middle eastern grocery store/restaurant and it was the best hummus I ever had! One of my fav snacks!
You should try the seasoning where you can add however much you want! They also make salt free everything bagel seasoning if you want to completely control the salt.
I don't eat popcorn so I add the Everything...Leftovers to vegetable soup or air fried potatoes. Definitely going to try the Green goddess next though, thx!
What a fun taste test. I'm not a fan of sweet hummus, so chances are I won't try that cinnamon cocoa seasoning in my hummus. However, I've added the Green Goddess and the Citrus Cuban Seasoning in plain hummus, and both variations were very good. I'll have to try the pickle seasoning in the hummus when I dip my cucumbers, that sounds really tasty. By the way, if you haven't tried it, the Crunchy Chili Onion oil tastes really good in hummus.
Very interesting idea! Have you tried the new Siracha seasoning? I am going to use it tomorrow (with other seasoning) on some shredded chicken for tacos! The popcorn statement is so true! Who eats that much??? Anyway, you could probably put any seasoning on popcorn since it really has no specific flavor!!
This was a fun one! I love your videos. I would love them even more if you had a way to turn your sound up. It's really frustrating to adjust the volume, then be blasted with loud ads if I don't have my remote handy. I know I've watched a few videos when your volume is up, but most videos with hauls and taste tests (my favs) are so low volume😕. Thanks for listening to my rant. I assure you it comes from a place of wanting to hear you and enjoy your videos even more 😉
I don’t even like hummus and now I want to try the cocoa cinnamon seasoning in some hummus. Thankfully I already have it in the cupboard.
Coleman's mustard powder would do the trick for the mustard spice. You would also need (cheddar) cheese powder and some toasted sesame seeds for the whole big mac experience. Actually, you may use the spices to jazz up okara hambuga (Japanese burger patties made from the left over bean fiber from tofu making) or mayonnaise made from aqua fava.
I have never been able to find the set with the sugar, cinnamon and cocoa.I have the rest of them.I've looked the last 2 Holiday seasons.

I think this experiment was a great idea.That being said, I think ketchup and everything but the left overs were an odd choice to be included.I use the ketchup on jo Jo's, tater tots, onion rings and French fries. Add a little olive oil, salt and pepper then cook it in my convection oven.The everything but the left overs I use on the skin and in the cavity of poultry, in dressing and in homemade soups with poultry.I don't think either one stood a chance in hummus. I was thinking maybe the new Sriracha or the pizza seasoning.I have been mixing the pizza directly in the dough and then sprinkling it on the outside crust after the toppings are on the middle part.I was thinking a few sprinkles of chili powder would be good mixed in with the citrus garlic.I like T.J.s everything but the bagel seasoning best but King Arthur's is really good too.That's just a few things that crossed my mind when I was watching the video.I watch them every week and you do a great job !
The savory seasonings are really best on French fries. Make unseasoned frozen fries in your air fryer, put a teaspoon of the seasoning into a paper sandwich bad, add the fries, shake and - voila - you have special flavor fries.

Chilli lime is one of my favorites as well, especially on avocado.

I had to laugh at your popcorn comment and totally agree! To me, it seems everyone always says “put that on eggs!” (Whatever the ingredient is.) Avocado toast is another one. lol

I don't think all the seasonings are great on eggs but the everything but the leftovers definitely is! I stock up so I can use it all year long on them. It's also really good on potatoes!
