If Death Stranding is just a walking simulator then it's one hell of a walking simulator

gave this game a chance, 9/10 for the story didnt even think of it as a walking sim it was really fun
This game was a revelation for me and showed just how much heart can go into a game
The best game for me, the one that helped me with my depression in really tough times for me…
Nothing has filled the void that death stranding left behind, the game was so epic towards the finale every character felt like family and BB my own son. No game matches the heart and soul this had, dare I say not even Metal Gear Solid (also by Hideo Kojima) comes close. Every other game is busy work, playing Wildlands because it plays a lot like MGS5 right now, but the story isn't there 😢
The only game that's resonating with me after this is Alan Wake, which has a story about saving your wife who was taken by a supernatural force. Your literacy agent (you're a writer in the game) Barry, is a great companion throughout the game that is going through the horror/trauma with you. As the town's secrets are revealed. It's like Secret Window by Stephen King, Silent Hill and Twin Peaks rolled into one amazing experience.
I need more games like this, that aren't just ubisoft busy work, those open world timewasters can be fun if you just want gameplay though.
Glad to see new players are still giving this game a go. This game got me through lockdowns and a breakup, still come back to it often, the story will stick with me for a long time.
Watched the credits roll about 2 days ago and still can't get over it. It's funny, I was thinking, just before the incinerator at the end, "nothing about this story made me shed a tear" but holy hell when you finish with the incinerator scene, I was like "oops thought too soon, COME ON LOU!!!" This game is vastly misunderstood by people who call it a "walking simulator." Can't wait for that sequel.

this game is magnificent, story and the graphics is perfect, all you need to do is stay with the game till 6 episode, then the game is faster and easier, but dont have enough energy to finish it at Platinum trophy :D
I think Michi Kaku is influencing Death Stranding. And Kojima styles it up. 😎

Everybody likes to dream of a better job... Sorry but I don't play video games in order to have the great pleasure of playing a UBER EATS guy !! I hate some video games nowadays : more marketing than real gameplay.
Oh And before some fanboy start to vomit on me : I pre order and play this game.

Frankly I'm glad people are enjoying the game, but it's a hard swallow for someone who's hiked as much as me. I gotta say though, the ingrown toenail mechanic or cutscene (whatever it was) made me feel seen at least!
Wow, I got a heart from the creator? That's a big deal to me. Creators don't often notice, and sometimes the ones who do don't interact. For context about the ingrown toenail/stubbed toe toenail removal thing... The first time I had a toenail yanked clean off I wasn't even 5. I was wearing sandals and being swung by the arms by a pair of more or less junkie druggie kidnappers who I thought were my parents at the time (I wasn't even 5), and I remember I was swinging forward and I kicked my leg up and my big toe snagged a knot on this log on a dirt path lined with said logs and in the process my toenail was ripped clean off.
Had a few more removals in medical setting under local anesthesia in the Marines later in life, and it hurts barely any less tbh.
@@KS-bo5bgidk about toenails, but my middle finger got in between a door wedge and when it was healing somehow it grew a new nail so i had to pull out the old one. Also am just a small creator i appreciate every comment i am able to get, pls sublol..
