The worst thing I found out about Yellowstone is once you start watching it it's hard to stop. Great show 👏 👍 👌
started the show this past Saturday and boy did I fucking binged the whole series over the weekend haha. Jimmy's character arc was one of the most satisfying to watch.

Man the Jamie relationship to the Dutton's is amazing. Beth hates him, Kayce loves him and John is both ashamed and let down by him but still accepts him deep inside as his own son. This show is brilliant!
I feel bad for him because John doesent love him, but he loves kayce and Beth, I mean Jamie has made bad moves, but he’s also done a lot for the ranch
And he was forced to kill the only father figure to show him live in his life
@@Tuxy41 John does love him. He asked Beth if he still had a son (Jamie) one time. I can’t remember when. I’m rewatching it now, but haven’t reached that scene yet.
But even though he is adopted and has made bad choices and mistakes. John still loves him, John made Jamie the way he is. John sent him to Harvard, he pushed him around told him to do this do that. Gave him the change to run for office and then told him not to. John made Jamie and is ashamed and let down by him but he loves him. He loves him differently than Beth, Kayce or Rip sure. But it’s not true John doesn’t love him. Go rewatch the show.
Yes Jamie got Beth pregnant. She got a botched up abortion can't have kids now! 🙄
@@Vwall007ST That's so true. If he didn't love him, he wouldn't have stopped him from committing suicide and, even though he could've put more effort into it, tried to get Beth to back off. And the pained look on his face when he asked Beth if he still had him, almost like he was about to cry, that's love there. He may play favorites, but he does love him.
Still, it's John's fault Jamie made bad choices and mistakes. Jamie has been nothing but loyal and dedicated up until he talked to the reporter. Jamie even wanted to be like his Dad at one point. And only went to school to become a lawyer because his Dad asked him to. And how does John repay him; belittles him, neglects him, and even runs against him. Is it any wonder he turned to his murderous sperm donor just to get a little bit of love and appreciation?
Hands down, the best show on television. Found it over the Memorial Day weekend, and have been catching up ever since. This is the first show IN YEARS to make me a fan.
I'm with you. I can't wait till season 5.

In four seasons of watching Yellowstone, seeing Jimmy walk into the bunkhouse with Emily was the most rewarding part of four seasons. Mia was just a problem, Jimmy was almost paralyzed doing rodeo and the moment he's better mia tells him rodeo or I'm gone, is that love? Not in my eyes. How's the saying go? For richer or poor, sickness and in health? Aslong as your jumping on a bronco and putting your life at risk. Mia only loved Jimmy if he was putting his life on the line, ya she was at the hospital but just as importantly John d paid his probably$500,000 hospital bill. Mia was selfish and in love with a life style, not Jimmy. Emily fell for him while he was jerking off a stallion, now thats love. Haha.
These are well written characters. It’s amusing to watch people become so involved and invested in them and their fortunes.

Great synopsis and agreed 1000%....never liked Mia from the beginning. The girl on the 6666 is the one for him and he knew that. He became a man that makes better choices. Such great story writing.

Well, to be fair rodeoing is what he truly wanted. All she was doing was saying choose your dream or your word. Can’t blame others for your choices. Both were good in their own way
Spent the rainy Memorial day weekend on a Yellowstone bender. Watched all four seasons with a lot of coffee. Took me awhile to find the time to get around to watching but this was the perfect opportunity. I may have been late to the barn but daaaamn what a ride!! Makes me miss my time being raised on a cattle ranch in California but *WAY MORE BEAUTIFUL!!*
....And now I am left starving for season 5. Guess I'll rewatch 1883 until then.

Straight up American badass. Imagine being a fly on the wall on this set. Costner, the coolest man on the planet. The horses, the ranch, the comradery. Rip, Kayce, Beth. All amazing performances. And how about Ryan Bingham, what a great addition and performer

The Season 4 opener was one of the best; if not *THE* best; season intros ever. This show just keeps getting better and better.
I must have watched that first 5 minutes a million times, definately THE best!
It was super intense! They packed half a season worth of chaos into a single episode.

What an awesome series. I live in the Bitterroot, in Montana, seeing parts of my town and seeing these actors on occasion in my little town, is pretty cool for sure

I hope to buy 100 acres to start, and slowly build it up out there so i can keep it that way. Plus that state is just so perfectly untouched..... i'm only looking at billings and btterroot area for the business. that's all

Incredible series with depth -hope-intrigue and action so TY Netflix and all the great actors for this.
Oh my God! That was really really awesome. It just keeps getting better and intense.
Apart from Beth who is written like a cartoon villain with psychotic daddy issues, this show is surprisingly great.
The strange thing is that there are fans who enjoy her character and think her behaviour makes sense. The show seems to have this underlying trope that every tough man has to have an even tougher female counterpart resulting in Beth ,the Indian laywer or the villains..etc. so to counter. John and Kacey Beth reaches absurd levels of bad ass. Imo were the just go completely into the wrong direction is how the writers seem to blame Jamie for a lot of stuff that is just absurd like the abortion.

This may be too late to get a reply but is Season 5 worth watching? Beth’s character is almost comically bad at this stage and it’s making the show unwatchable at times. Her motivations for hating Jamie make no sense at this point. I was already struggling with John being all over the place. Anyway, rant over.

The show definitely started degrading very heavily after season 2, I am not saying its bad but its turning comical, the villains are all cartoon bad guys, Beth is not really getting better, if anything they just exaggerated her character even more.
Is Season 5 worth watching? Only if you are really bored, but honestly, if you have better things to do, best to just get with it and forget about season 5 even being real.
@@SMGJohn thanks for the reply. I might just get through it slowly at the gym then out of respect to the really great earlier seasons. In season 4 it almost felt like they had different writers for some characters. I would be fine with the over the top storyline if the character writing was consistent.

Well, I lived out there for 7-years many decades ago, and the most memorable thing hasn't been shown yet - the winter blizzards. I remember waking up and going back to sleep because it was still dark, until I couldn't sleep anymore. Getting up, it was lunchtime and still dark because snow drifts had buried the house and no light got through the windows.

S4 was amazing. Garrett as the main antagonist had so little power, but manipulated Jaime to his will. He slam it took over. But then Jaime shot him. So damn brilliant

Goosebumps, chills. I'm calling RIP for the 5th season now, and if you don't give us what we want, you will upset him very bad.
For those who felt like season 4 was a disappointment, Cole Hauser who plays Rip said this in a Behind The Scenes look. He said, “As far as future, there’s going to be highs and lows. That’s what made this show special”. I replay that message in my head when I think of the show. My hope is that the show gets better when season 5 premiers.

Yep season 4 kinda sucked. Seasons 1-3 is about as good as TV can get.
What I find strange about the beginning of season 4 is the Dutton family nearly gets wiped out. They all survive, but there is still a threat. In episode 2 John Dutton is roaming the range be himself then goes soaking in the river. His adult kids are out and about. No concern about snipers. In real life they would be hiding in a bunker until the perpetrators are brought to justice. Anyway, it's only a make believe show.

Kinda wish summer would've stayed around she would've been a great character to help show ranching/farming isn't exactly what a lot of people think it is. We love our animals we love our land we pour our heart and soul into both

I’m sure that’s not the end of her in the show. Based upon Taylor’s storytelling style thus far I believe he’ll have her brought onto the canvas. He likes his slow/real time builds of characters and storyline weavings.
Best show on television, well my favorite. It’s a shame it never gets nominated for Emmys. The critics act like YS is beneath them even though it’s the most watched television show on cable. Can’t wait for tonight!

I can’t get season 4 episodes 8-10 on paramout plus. I’m based in the UK and it only goes up to E7. I’m devastated, it’s the best thing for I’ve watched in a long time, I’m loving seeing American culture. Absolutely love it.
A truly epic series. Every “character” brings a special element to this Costner classic. I would suggest a character who has serious issues with alcoholism that threatens the very foundation of the Yellowstone.
I experienced that on a ranch I hunt on for years. The cost to one and all was huge……
What I am suggesting is Rip. I had this experience with the head cowboy on a ranch. Cost the rancher 1000 quarter horses that had to literally be sold to France for food because lease contracts were neglected. A fella who had 6 drunk driving convictions but the name of the ranch was keeping him out of prison. Plus his Teeter kind’a girlfriend, co-drunk, was attempting to steal Picasso paintings from the place and even my cash and credit cards…..plus much more…..Just a thought.

I love the fact that when John woke up, one of the first things he asked was “Who did we lose?” Wants to know who got killed by the attack immediately after learning everyone got attacked
Didn't want to watch at first but fell in love with Monica (she's gorgeous). Ended up binge watching the whole series lol! Really rooting it continue until Season 10 or more.

Great show but how is Jamie the villain? He was sent away by his father to college and he spent his whole life doing his bidding, the only thing he wanted was the AG office and they banished him for it, doesn't make sense at all
Right. Been wondering the same thing. I agree what he did to Beth when they were younger was awful, but they were both young. With the exception of Kayce, they all treated him like sh*t, when all he tried to do is please them. You’re right, it does not make any sense at all…

I'm definitely enjoying this show. The only thing that frustrates me is how Jamie is still written as an idiot and someone who makes poor decisions. He's been misused by John and felt like a complete outsider his whole life. Jamie may not be the most likable of characters, but he deserves better. And Beth, well... the actress who plays her is incredible, but the character is way too much at this point. It's non-stop bitterness and instability with her now.

Beth is broken, will not get help, is a bitter alcoholic. At the same time you can see the spark in there that somehow tries to light but it's been buried for so long, it's probably going to stay where it is. We'll have to see in season 5.

You can see where Beth just wants him to take her in his arms and comfort her and love her, like his "little girl". John is not capable of that. Really, the entire family is broken. Ah, dinner at the Duttons, what a treat. LOL

Jamie is a Dutton too and nobody wants to watch him turning into a f**** disgrace. His character is far too bright for this and the writing went completely wrong here.
It's just humiliation after humiliation for the Jamie character. It is incredible that he's not as hateful as his sister.

Beth is such a villain. Jamie doesn't deserve what she does to him
Depends on how much you pay attention to the plot. Jamie has an underlying 'not good' , if evil, about him. Beth's mistakes Jamie for the burns on her back. That disfigurement can twist anyone's mind.
@@onecookie1 He's a lawyer, forced by Duty (and sometimes by threat of violence) to defend and serve a Dutton family whose father never loved him, whose members have no issues committing crimes and killing people? How is he supposed to be a 100% good guy defending a family that have no moral compass besides not killing kids? No one in that family is clean but it's obviously the most cruel members of that family is Beth, followed by John. Beth takes joy in humiliating and insulting ppl. She's been a bully her entire adult life. Beth literally tricked a women into committing a crime that was going to send her to prison for 30 yrs simply bc of her weird almost incestuous obsessions of her father, jealous that he was interested in another woman. Jamie did not cause those burns to her but she was more than happy to use that as an excuse to justify her cruel actions. When she found out it wasn't him, it didn't change anything for her. It just goes to prove that it wasn't the burns that made her do it, she was just looking for a reason. The only time Beth seems human is when she's with Rip.
Only complaint I have about this awesome show is EVERYONE plays the victim....it gets tiring, but besides that....top 5 show on tv now!
Jamie deserves better than the shit they keep pouring on him.

4 seasons. 10 ep each. 50 mins avg per episode. Thats 2000 mins. A day only has 1440 mins. Even if u never took a break to do anything else, its still not possible
