Since going tubeless (on my road bike) I’ve never had to remove a wheel, let alone tyre, to repair a puncture. Top up sealant every three months, most punctures repair themselves. I’ve used a Stan’s dart once.

Tubeless is objectively better, almost similarly true for discs, why would you be so proud of not using it lol. Fine if you, you do you, don't but weird flex to brag about using objectively worse equipment.

@@test-ml9wr I love tubeless but disk, I don't know. I have bikes with both. Disk better stopping, rim easy to deal with any problems. As I get older I'll go hydraulic disk though ; so I can pull'em on.

On my road bike I run on 28mm tires. Is more confortable and give me some extra grip when the road is wet or on descents. The other thing that is very important to have is a non transparent water bottle. I prefer the white because reflects the sun. One cool tip is freeze one bottle and you will always have fresh water. If you can get hold of a plastic film canister that a roll of 35mm film comes in then they're an ideal size for 5 or 6 electrolyte tablets without having to carry the original tube. The canisters are also the right size for keeping some loose change in.

You never mention your tyres! Until now... I noticed you use them Kate, so I lashed out on some more gregarious blue walled tyres! They are brilliant and so, so fast. @@GazzaView123 I have both rim and disk brake bikes, the Only advantage that a disk bike has is braking in the wet other than that the rim brake bike is superior, lighter , less maintenance more aero etc, etc.

you are amazing... MOTION: RENAME "Audax"... first let us define it though: Audax is a Latin adjective meaning "bold, daring" and may be used to refer to: Audax (cycling) Audax is a cycling sport in which participants attempt to cycle long distances within a pre-defined time limit. Audax is a non-competitive sport: success in an event is measured by its completion.
I hereby move that henceforth "Audax" shall be known as "Katie".
All in favour, give a thumbs up.
