In 1989, I was an exchange student in Belgium. When I came to Antwerp and for the first time saw Jews in traditional attire, I stood in awe.. I learned there is a thriving Jewish community in Antwerp, a Schtetl, with quiet streets on Sabbath and buzzing activity on sunday. I felt like weeping for joy and thankfulness. I lived in Stamford Hill, London, a Hasidim area and we noticed "produce of Israel" in the Jewish and other shops. This tiny country is somehow able to export, not only food but so much else such as vital pharmaceuticals, software and a lot more. The area Israel is now on was almost a desert before '47-48 and now it's a thriving nation where a Muslims have better rights there than in the surrounding counties. I am not a Jew. When I think of all the success, intelligence and contributions that the Jewish people are responsible for I come to the conclusion that they are a great people. I don’t know if its the religion, the culture, or the family structures, but the Jews are a great people. Maybe jealousy is the root of this hatred towards Jews. I just don’t how anyone can deny the tremendous success of the Jewish people.

I lived in America almost 40 years now. It’s hard for anyone to guess my origins or faith because I’m too diverse to categorize. I will testify to the fact that the rare occasions when someone showed me genuine, unselfish care, real spontaneous goodness, effective help in life, I would find out later that the person is Jewish. I am living in Israel now. Every day soldiers, our children, are killed and it eats the soul. All of us are at risk of being killed ourselves through bombs and rockets. There remain kidnapped Jews in Gaza. The world is against us. We can't complain as individuals, because as long as we are still alive we are lucky. Funny story. Years ago, I had an economically difficult moment in my life, and I was in a halfway house in a rough part of Los Angeles, USA. My first roommate was an ex gang-member who converted to Islam & he happened to be black and was very proud of that fact plus he was local to the immediate area. Vicious guy. Hated me because of my German Jewish ancestry, but wouldn't state it openly. A month later, they gave each of us new roommates and placed the Muslim guy in a room double the size of the one we shared originally to quell his anger. My new roommate was decidedly Catholic, reciting Bible portions in Latin daily, and was from the breakaway region (1967-70) of your nation, and proudly asserted the same. The 2 of us never had a problem, I have other ties to Africa, so we always had pleasant conversations, but my first roommate had unending negative issues.

I am European and I was bombarded my whole life with casual anti-Semitic propaganda. When I was 15, so that's 2010, my and my friends would make jokes about holocaust, and nobody saw problem with that. Every European is exposed so much to anti-Semitism that it becomes natural response for us. To this day, I have to apply reason and remind myself to not be anti-Semitic. But all these people on the protests, have stopped trying that. Many of them are also anti-West or pro-Russian, pro-Assad, pro-Iran. Some of them sympathize with ISIS, believe it or not. They always see democracies as corrupt, and see totalitarian regimes as a way to conservatism (if they are right wing), or as a way to communism (if they are left wing).

I am a non religious person in the UK. I have worked 15 years for Jordanians, have multi-cultural friends of many faiths. I have visited Israel may times visiting many religious sites and entered the West Bank. Visited the Vatican and sat in front of the pope and listened to his service, visited the Gurdwara with my Sikh friends ate meals with my Muslim friends and Rabbi Daniel you are right I have since 7th October supported Israel their right for peace, rights for seeking a final end to the continuous attacks and threats from terrorists (Iran's) proxy's. The ones marching are marching due to their hate of the Jews, their lack of understanding, their desire to just be in a crowd and shout no doubt. The Middle Eastern countries who are now enemies are looking for 'identity' they see the rich Jewish state of Israel and they hate it - because they can never have what Israel has so they start wars.

I lived in Stamford Hill, London, a Hasidim area and we noticed "produce of Israel" in the Jewish and other shops. This tiny country is somehow able to export, not only food but so much else such as vital pharmaceuticals, software and a lot more. The area Israel is now on was almost a desert before '47-48 and now it's a thriving nation where a Muslims have better rights there than in the surrounding counties. I am not a Jew. When I think of all the success, intelligence and contributions that the Jewish people are responsible for I come to the conclusion that they are a great people. Funny story. Years ago, I had an economically difficult moment in my life, and I was in a halfway house in a rough part of Los Angeles, USA. My first roommate was an ex gang-member who converted to Islam & he happened to be black and was very proud of that fact plus he was local to the immediate area. Vicious guy. Hated me because of my German Jewish ancestry, but wouldn't state it openly. A month later, they gave each of us new roommates and placed the Muslim guy in a room double the size of the one we shared originally to quell his anger. My new roommate was decidedly Catholic, reciting Bible portions in Latin daily, and was from the breakaway region (1967-70) of your nation, and proudly asserted the same. The 2 of us never had a problem, I have other ties to Africa, so we always had pleasant conversations, but my first roommate had unending negative issues.

I am European and I was bombarded my whole life with casual anti-Semitic propaganda. When I was 15, so that's 2010, my and my friends would make jokes about holocaust, and nobody saw problem with that. Every European is exposed so much to anti-Semitism that it becomes natural response for us. To this day, I have to apply reason and remind myself to not be anti-Semitic. But all these people on the protests, have stopped trying that. Many of them are also anti-West or pro-Russian, pro-Assad, pro-Iran. Some of them sympathize with ISIS, believe it or not. They always see democracies as corrupt, and see totalitarian regimes as a way to conservatism (if they are right wing), or as a way to communism (if they are left wing).
And we Jews, who just want to be left alone, are always stuck in the middle...😢

I am a non religious person in the UK. I have worked 15 years for Jordanians, have multi-cultural friends of many faiths. I have visited Israel may times visiting many religious sites and entered the West Bank. Visited the Vatican and sat in front of the pope and listened to his service, visited the Gurdwara with my Sikh friends ate meals with my Muslim friends and Rabbi Daniel you are right I have since 7th October supported Israel their right for peace, rights for seeking a final end to the continuous attacks and threats from terrorists (Iran's) proxy's. The ones marching are marching due to their hate of the Jews, their lack of understanding, their desire to just be in a crowd and shout no doubt. The Middle Eastern countries who are now enemies are looking for 'identity' they see the rich Jewish state of Israel and they hate it - because they can never have what Israel has so they start wars.

I'm an Israeli jew , i came to Israel when i was 11 years old , the reasons my parents did are the antisemitism in soviet union and that Israel is the only place in earth for jews. I know what antisemitism since i was 7 years old . To hear children saying that they hate jews even if they didn't see a jew in their life . This hate comes from home , from generations of hate and jealousy . This lecture explains perfectly the all reasons for this hate . We are the light , they are darkness , and the light always wins .
