this guy deserves more views. he has dumped allot of information back into the community and the info is pretty diverse to. he should be rewarded for his efforts. that said his reward is prolly gonna be surviving the apocalypse whilst most other modern day camper/bushcrafters perish with all their expensive gear having missed the point entirely of bushcraft lol
I am used to spending lots of money on new purpose built gear - that doesn't usually work as advertised. This is a nice option to complement what I already have. Thanks for the great ideas.
You have a pretty good selection of kit that looks like a person can save a lot of money to build using things that aren't too hard to find. Thanks for sharing my friend.
Dooooood!!! I LOVE your resourcefulness! Why spend a ton of cash on a stainless steel cup when you can find one at a second hand shop and make it the way you want it just like you have?! Excellent mind you have. Cheers, Shorty
Making use of things rather than just tossing them in the trash is a good skill to develop. It reminds me of my grandfather. He lived through the Depression and seemed to always make the most use of everything he had. Enjoyed the video. Are you making anymore bows in the future?
Amazing video, exactly what i was looking for in terms of inspiration and motivation. Thanks for uploading. Greetings from across the channel, groetjes uit Nederland🇳🇱.
Sorry mate what are the little steel rivet things used for making the sheaths the buttons that hold them together where can I get the tools needed for it. Any help would be great good video J
I like your homemade or repurposed gear, but I am surprised that you don't show at least one robust cutting tool, such as an axe or hatchet or saw, for processing firewood. I don't suggest that your knives aren't up to "camp" use, but they are small and would probably break under hard use. Any comments about a heavy-duty cutting tool?
cheers for the comment mate , i have got a few repurposed saws and am planning on sorting an axe or some type of chopping tool soon . i think at the time i didnt have anything worth showing on the video
MY BOOK ABOUT REPURPOSED GEAR IS ON AMAZON TO DOWNLOAD OR GET A PAPERBACK goo.gl/hdp4dy
This bloke understands it's not about fancy kit but functional kit. 10/10 for survival skill!
Innovative; impressive; economical; practical; & makes good use of discards. Great job! Thank you.
Just excellent improvised gear!
This is real bushcrafting ! 👍🌲🛠️
thank you mate
