I really liked how all the new pieces feel like a "set", they go together amazingly and the overall impression is that it's a labor of love, where someone has really put some thought into it. Of course there are some places that need some more attention, but I'm sure you guys are already on that. And you mentioned some of them in the video. One thing that I would be very interested in would be some custom parts for day to day usability. This would be things like navigation, do you use your phone? If yes, How are you going to mount it/hold it without having an ugly holder. I'd be interested in seeing the design process and implementation of those small functional mods. 3D printing would probably have to come into play here.
Interior is by far the nicest I’ve seen in and EVO, My dad rallied Evo’s and drove for ralliart for 4yrs, you know what would complete you build Jack a couple of quaife differentials & a sequential quaife gearbox & theirs a company called Proflex Suspension which works really well under any EVO chassis, but I love this build absolute beast 🙌 Thankyou Jack can’t wait for the next video
It's simply a masterpiece. Mat's work just speaks for itself about how much passionate he is about what he does... came out amazing. Your Evo was one of the best builds I've watched this year... cheers from Brazil 👏
I love how everyone always gives Freddy shit for not finishing his builds, but he is ALWAYS out there trying to help and bring up all of the people around him. Dude is one of the most generous out there in the community.
Mitsu should be proud that you recovered this car completely back to what it should have been from the factory. I watched the shows from SEMA and your blue diamond stood out. Think about all the friends you made during the project.
Jack is such a genuine guy. He personifies what car-culture is about. Not these prepubescent boy racers, but genuine people who are enthusiasts who care about others, too! Nice one, Jack! The car looks amazing!
I absolutely love "Better than Factory" builds, and this one just knocks it out of the park. From the iconic color, to the interior that the car's reputation deserves, and so far beyond on so many of the details. Those wheels are Dead Perfect for this machine, and it would have been a car crime to NOT have it sitting in the booth a SEMA. In reality most people couldn't afford to pay the right people to do this to their own car, but I would bet that this build gives so many people out there, so many ideas of what they can do with their Lancers! Watching an artist like Jack create something like this is an educational and inspirational experience. I can't wait to see it making Rrrrrr Sounds, making power, ripping around, turning heads and breaking hearts.
I love the real emotion that comes out… I don’t know what it is but certain cars/trucks just do it to you.i get like that sometimes myself.. the one thing that gets me all the time is… what taverish just did..gift you a car.. it’s a great feeling to know that your friends truly love you.. there is no shame in that.. guys keep up what you are doing..the content is easy amazing and easy to watch.. it sucks me in and I see myself wanting more
Honestly, this has got to be the nicest evo I’ve ever seen man. The colors and everything you picked for it is perfect- nothings too over the top, but riding on that edge of mixing everything together to put it perfectly in that gray area. Well done man. Been here since the start and I don’t plan on leaving. Also congrats for 100k!
Seems like no one in the automotive space is uploading this morning... Then Jack comes and saves the morning with this banger!! Good on ya Jack! Happy to watch this in its entirety! Btw the build turned out AMAZING brother.
The car is gorgeous from the tires to the roof. Every bit of the engine bay looks expensive and hand crafted, and the Interior is a work of art, it's a true labor of love. I hope next episode it drives even just half as well as it looks.
I didn't follow this channel initially, I saw Jack with Tavarish and eventually made it over here. I've now watched all 13 episodes in about 2 days and wow, what an incredible build. The attention to detail, the perfectionism... absolutely amazing. Congratulations Jack, you have set the bar. Can't wait to see you and the Blue Dream Machine on The Dragon!
The way you feel about your evo 8 is the same way I feel about my evo 8 had my car for ten years got it when i got home from the Marines it's my dream car but unfortunately life happens and it's been sitting for 7 years. Hopefully I can get close to what you have done with yours. I would cry to see mine as nice again. I'm the second owner which was hard to find at the time or even now. Between Family and Work ill find time and money to keep trying to bring it back alive thanks for the inspiration.🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 Awesome build Jack!!!!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🏁🏁🏁🏁
Jack...you've sang everyone's input...and rightly so, the skill sets and standards involved are impeccable, including yours, the rebuild for this was incredible and completely immaculate, now, look at the two foot deep shine in the coachwork and give yourself a pat on the back man, pure brilliance. Love the way y'all overlap and swap and assist specialties across the board. Brilliant 100% to all involved. Bet you're stoked..😂😂😂👍👍
It's crazy seeing how much work was done in such a short time to make it to SEMA, but it was definitely worth it! I'm looking forward to seeing how much power the car makes and hopefully seeing you soon!
The car is amazing! but for me the best thing is the people who helped with the project and in the genuine way they did it! You're a lucky guy Jack! stay true!
This was a mash-up build. By that I mean a mix between moments from Tokyo Drift and Gone In Sixty Seconds, the way it was able to unite several people and all. It is totally worth all those sleepless nights, It looks awesome, it probably drives even better than the way it looks and you made new friends along the way and old friendships were also solidified in the process. This is superhero stuff. Cheers !
What I Valued you the most is the humility, gratitude and appreciation you showed to everyone who helped you on this journey. The only request I have as a fan of your work is to try and upload more consistently and often as your content and work ethic is Stella
I like tinkering around on my slow little Miata on the odd weekend, but this guy, Jack literally worked himself sick finishing this Evo. This is not your regular "YT Car Influencer" whose only superpower is spending stupid money. This is skill and passion on a learning curve, this is friends pitching in to make it work and it's beautiful! But if you're gonna take this bad boy to the Dragon's Tail, that's funny stuff to car guys, but it's the holy grail to bikers. You're gonna have to beat a serious motorbike on the Dragon's Tail if you want me to doff my cap to your build.
The emotion you show Jack just shows the kind of guy you are. Amazing build amazing friends and supporters. The job that Mat did on the interior is out of control. Can’t wait to hear this beast run. Great job Jack
Jack, you and your colleagues really knocked this build out of the park! Even though I am just a subscriber, I am super proud of you. I can't wait to see what, "Jack builds it" tackles as your next build.
What an amazing start to ur TH-cam career with helping Tavarish with his questionable AMG. Now ur own sema build. Not only do u have the skills, u have heart and this video was all heart. Stay true to u. Big fan from Aus. Love the mcm shirt ❤
So… there’s f-yeah spec and LZ-spec which are both great and special in there own way, right. But this new Jack-spec is beyond OEM+. Unbelievably beautiful great job sir.
This is honestly the highest level rebuild I've seen on youtube. Everything was improved with quality and taste. Everyone else should be striving to complete projects at this level. Great job to everyone involved.
Jack!!! Your attention to ALL the details is unrivaled!!!!!! I have a MKIV VW Wookiee I dream of having someone like you going over, and bringing to above factory spec. Congrats man..... B E A Utiful Evo build!!!!!!!!!
You guys are amazing! What a dream come true. I drive a non turbo 2011 Lancer Sportback wagon. I've dreamed of dropping a nice engine in her for the ultimate sleeper build. Thank you for the great content 🙏🏻
Hey Jack, I’ve been long awaiting this video from one of my new favourite you tubers, I gotta say the interior is absolutely beautiful. A lot of blood sweat and tears have went into this car so please enjoy it, i didn’t like these cars until I seen what you have done. Please keep up the good work and please keep making you tube videos as you will end up with a massive following as your such a humble guy. All the best….Stewart
I was too distracted when this video dropped so now that I got some quiet time. I watched it again. I really love the colours you chose. I'm glad it didn't end up with an orange/tan interior. Blue is my favorite colour and that interior is so nice. Definitely looks expensive and 1,000% improvement. The wheels are sweet too. I look forward to seeing this finished.
Jack the car looks like it should have rolled out of the factory today! Congratulations on building your dream car. On a personal note, thank you for putting some real tires on your car. They look proportional and unlike far too many cars where it’s all wheel and no tire, yours looks perfect! Take note TH-camrs this is how wheel and tire combos look their best.
Congratulations Jack on a fantastic build of this Evo,a lot of hard work, and help from your great mates.Interior looks awesome. The whole car is a credit to you..brilliant.back when the Evo was released it was the choice for thieves to steal in Australia, they would do ram raids with a 4wd to gain entry, then a van to cart the atm away, while a driver would keep watch with the Evo ready if needed for a getaway.they performed this at a Hospital I worked at,huge damage to the front of the building. Once again we’ll done on saving this car,now for the Dyno..
I was here before the First thousand subs, and i told, this would be the best Evo build on TH-cam. Its amazing. Loved It with no wung. I would only but another front bumper. The IX bumper or the C-west one
Bravo Jack! Bravo to you and everyone that has touched that car! How great will it be to that you’ve documented this process! And of course I know there’s way more off camera stuff but the end result shows how meticulous you are. The whole mind set of even the things that no one will see but you’ll know need to look good matter. Bravo!
the interior looks awesome! I remember doing mine where I changed the white interior to beige with orange stitches also on dash and steeringwheel. The little details makes the car complete! love it!!!
Jack... You've been holding out on us! We've been itching for the next installment of your build. I'm really glad that you show the great example of using anti-sieze compound wherever you can. Far too many ignore this vital prep and curse themselves later.
Easily one of my favourite builds. I'm glad you've been sharing this journey with us so we've all been able to see the crazy transformation this car has gone through. Looking forward to the next video, keep it up man!
This evo is pure quality like I've never seen before on a build, you've done everything to the max and I can definitely see this build staying with you and staying mint for the rest of your life
Let me know what you think of the interior in the comments! See you all with another video this weekend, enjoy the video.
An interior like that really takes things to another level. Something Mitsubishi skipped on, was taken beyond.
Thanks for taking us along on this journey, Jack. Really happy for you, such quality and passion. Keep on keeping on
I really liked how all the new pieces feel like a "set", they go together amazingly and the overall impression is that it's a labor of love, where someone has really put some thought into it.

what a journey! let's never do it again!
Yea right 🤣😄🤣😂😅
hahaha, it's insane how much detail went in to the car. Looks MINT though
LMAO
🤣🤣
You know y'all want to do another McLaren. Lmmfao
Flooded, wrecked on 19 corners, dead rino in the trunk, and a Lambo tractor motor. 😂😂😂😂
Matt is the ultimate upholsterer. Not only creating but installing everything. Probably not a lot of guys doing that at that level!
Jack is such a genuine guy. He personifies what car-culture is about. Not these prepubescent boy racers, but genuine people who are enthusiasts who care about others, too! Nice one, Jack! The car looks amazing!

Love love the build. The only thing missing is the OEM wing 👌🏻
Videos don't do enough justice to how good your Evo looks in person. Fantastic job with putting the car together, pretty much from scratch!
Waiting for a DDE video to drop but nothing in sight, BUT JACK BUILDS IT outta nowhere?!!??! HELL YES
I’m the same lol
Same😂😂
DDE content has been terrible for months. Don’t drive cars anymore, click bait and don’t even build there own … big unsub from me.
DDE videos nothin but bs lately so why bother, all's it's been is fake af.
Oh yeah same here😆
Seriously heartwarming video. So many positive vibes. Good to see so many skilled friends pull something like this off. Congrats, Jack!

Love the way y'all overlap and swap and assist specialties across the board.
Brilliant 100% to all involved.
Bet you're stoked..😂😂😂👍👍
Wow just wow. I only wish it had the factory rear wing.
That interior options callout is a great touch, Mat knocked it out of the park
It's crazy seeing how much work was done in such a short time to make it to SEMA, but it was definitely worth it! I'm looking forward to seeing how much power the car makes and hopefully seeing you soon!
Video at the end brought tears to my eyes @28:01
Jack that was so excellent of you to get your friends name on that plaque. Really quality.
Jack that Evo looks awesome!! I can understand why you were ready to cry when you saw that gorgeous interior.

This is the ultimate Evo build. I have to give it 9.9/10, the only thing missing is the iconic evo rearwing. Can't wait to hear it run 😮🎉🎉❤❤❤
The bronze looks so great paired with the blue.. this is truly an amazing build jack
The passion reminds me of late 90's UK Max Power era level builds. *chef's kiss*
Sleep deprivation, exhaustion, and overwhelming generosity will bring the toughest of men to tears. Glad you could share these moments with us Jack!
Jack, not only the interior but the complete evo is 👌👌 wouw what a colour, very nice blue 👍
Looks awesome. Love that blue. The magic words you speak are 'I work with Tavarish'. That unlocks a lot of doors,
JACK BUILDS IT BETTER !!!!! 👍👍👍👍👌👌👌👌🇺🇸🇬🇧🇺🇸🇬🇧
What an amazing start to ur TH-cam career with helping Tavarish with his questionable AMG. Now ur own sema build. Not only do u have the skills, u have heart and this video was all heart. Stay true to u. Big fan from Aus. Love the mcm shirt ❤
The best thing about this build is that you don't have to bring million dollars hypercars to get us smile from ear to ear
9:34 Great work Jack! I see your sporting that mightycarmods T shirt. :)
It's my Dream Car too an EVO 8 or 9, but watching someone build it and bring us audience to the process makes me feel satisfied as well. thank you!
Love that you’re sporting a Puddin’s Fab Shop shirt. Great work bringing your dream to reality!
man I was smiling throughout the entire video! This is truly one of a kind, and quite possibly the finest Evo ever.
You guys are like the "Justice League" of the "TH-cam-verse". We love it! Thank you!
So… there’s f-yeah spec and LZ-spec which are both great and special in there own way, right. But this new Jack-spec is beyond OEM+. Unbelievably beautiful great job sir.
Nice! Interior is sick but I expect nothing less from my brother. Matt is 1 of 1! Congratulations on the build!
please put that evo wing on bro!! 🥲
Great work Jack. You literally sunk your everything into this build and look at it! The interior is incredible. Now get some sleep!
Nice choice of music for the first time laps! Different then everyone else!
1: The car looks great inside and out.
2: As an Aussie, it's great to see that Mighty Car Mods shirt ... MCM for the win!!
One of the best builds at SEMA.
Now thats a proper SEMA build! Not one thing overlooked, great work!
You guys are amazing! What a dream come true. I drive a non turbo 2011 Lancer Sportback wagon. I've dreamed of dropping a nice engine in her for the ultimate sleeper build. Thank you for the great content 🙏🏻

From Tavarish to binging Jack builds it. You guys make an incredible team and friend group man. Oh also incredible cars👍🏼🤣

Nice seeing you supporting PuddinsFabShop with the opening shirt!
Bravo Jack! Bravo to you and everyone that has touched that car! How great will it be to that you’ve documented this process! And of course I know there’s way more off camera stuff but the end result shows how meticulous you are. The whole mind set of even the things that no one will see but you’ll know need to look good matter. Bravo!

You can be very proud of the work you have done. This build is amazing!! Well done to all involved.
Jack... You've been holding out on us! We've been itching for the next installment of your build. I'm really glad that you show the great example of using anti-sieze compound wherever you can. Far too many ignore this vital prep and curse themselves later.
Congrats Jack, I still absolutely love the colour; darker blues just seems to look good on any car, and yours really stands out.
LOVE that you're wearing a @PuddinsFabShop Pott County legend's shirt. Great build, cant wait for your next SEMA build
Cant beat a bit of bronze. Stunning. Amazing work Jack🤝
Been here since the first episode ❤
that steering wheel detail is balls !!
Amazing job Jack and everyone who has helped.
I think this might just be the cleanest nicest Evo 8 on the planet.
I am happy for you, Jack. Your car looks amazing and tavarish is a very good friend. This is a very, very good looking car.
Dedicated, humble, passionate and grateful. You killed it Jack. Car came out amazing. What a great build to watch. 💪🏻
Well done on the silver play button and the 100k - next stop the Gold button
My absolute favourite colour. That car looks amazing. Well done.

Small detail: love the use of anti-seize on bare mating surfaces.
He’s doing every car guys dream top work mate 🏴
Man I'm having flashbacks to building cars without sleep for 4 months. I don't miss it but the stories are great!
Jack, Mat, Tavarish my favorite car channels! 💯 Y'all making it Happen!
