  • Hello everyone. Use of external utilities i.e., steam increases the cost of the process/plant. To minimize the cost, it is preferred to use heat of one process to meet the heat requirements of other process. This lecture is focused on recovering process heat to avoid use of external utility i.e., Steam. The sour-water is heated from 37.8 °C to 100 °C using the heat of the hot water, leaving the stripper. Please watch Lecture # 25 before starting this tutorial. Thank you for your love and support. Please do watch, like, and share the video, and subscribe the channel.

What are specifications ( pressure and temperature) of utility selected eg. MP/HP steam for heater? Also how to add user variables.

the stripper requires heat to strip the off gas and water, so what heat is used? latent heat from the feed for sure, is steam also used?
