I actually like watching people play golf. You happen to be one of about 6 you tubers that I watch. I get more out of watching you play than tips. Not that yours and others with tips haven't helped. But I pick up more while watching all you play. So thank you Andy for allowing us to watch. I thought your game is great. Your ball striking is just about there. Very nice
Thanks Timothy, i aim for this videos to help in regards to course management. Which i still get wrong myself but understanding the faults even after the fact certainly help
As it's said, "you make more putts from the high side than the low side". Missing your putts on the high side shows that your putting has improved. Fryer used to always say that you were a terrible putter, but that was when you always used to miss them low (on the "amateur" side). Now that you're missing them on the "pro" side, it shows that you're putting more aggressively, trying to really make them. Now it's just dialing in your speed and your overall game will be really solid. It's great to see!
Some really solid golf Andy in testing, windy conditions; tad unlucky with a couple of putts. A fist-pump for a birdie when on your own and on the 18th green is mandatory surely.... Cheers
Saunton is class isn’t it..I think both courses compliment each other..the west is a more plot your way around but still lovely..funny thing is your right by the sea but can’t see diddly 😂 it’s good to see you down here playing and Filming..a quality video 👌👌….usually it’s just the local boys on TH-cam Crossy Dan h lockey etc etc who play in south west and show the quality of courses we have down here on TH-cam..p.s. better off missing high than missing low 😉

Used to go there every year. Brilliant course an a tough test especially when you are staying at The Thatch with 19 mates drinking till 4am lol. Some top golf mate level par off the whites brilliant.

Loved the video, I find it hard remembering to video a few swings to upload to the Skillest app let alone every shot and talking to the camera and playing decent golf (putting excluded lol) keep up the good work, we all appreciate the content

Hope you get to collaborate with some American youtube personalities (Good Good guys, Micah & Grant, Bryan Bros, Buster Jack). I know some are going to the UK for the open, try a team event, you and your buddies (Peter Finch, MFG, Rich Shields etc..) against them. Would be fun to watch.

Haha I’ve hit the middle of that green on a baked summers day and still ended up in that bunker! You played it with a unusual wind, normally south westerly’s so into your face on most holes on the back nine, a hell of a test then!
@Andy Carter Golf Send me the Cobra set then? Lol. The set I had to sell had the '22 Cobra Forged Tec iron set in it. I loved those irons! I recently found a set of Callaway x-12s from 1998 but the shafts have some rust, so I'm not sure how to fix that. Plus the amount of offset is extreme!
