My MK3 has the the flat spot too when pulling away and it applies to both "Eco and Standard modes". I have not tried it at junctions etc on sport mode!
Fantastic, honest review! I've had a QashQai Gen 2 for 6 years, and I can't fault them. Went for a test drive with the 2022 one and I was very pleased, can't wait to have it delivered later this year! Thanks again for the honest informative review.
Had 2019 plate 2nd gen hated it cause manual gearbox was fiddly went to test drive new one let’s just say everything is miles better drive is so comfortable nice car really improved it ordered mine too
Halogen interior lights are less distracting than a bright LED for the driver if a passenger puts them on at night, less reflection in the windscreen, just a thought. Good review 👍
In had a 2016 one, the flat spot was an issue on mine. I thought it was the turbo being caught out, gave me a few scary moments. Seems like its still there on the new one. Lovey looking car, I'm tempted to go have a look at one
Another great review. Not sure if you says. Or maybe I missed it but is the output the 140bhp or 158bhp? Lovely car. I still to this very day 🤣 miss my top trim range 1.5 diesel QQ Tekna+ 2018 (vivid blue). Stunning it was.
Hi Nobby. I thought you'd like to know that Bob Flavin just reviewed this very same car and spotted the same engine problem with it. That one or two second stall issue. Great that you both spotted it. I wonder is it just that car or is it a problem with all new Qashqais. I would drive me mad though...cheers.
The Electric Version will be called E-Power…… Essential it drives like an EV but the engine cuts in an out to drive a generator that charges the battery. There is no physical link between the engine and the wheels .
I’ve done the Q3 (a couple of years ago) and the A3 (just recently with the PHEV) not sure if a combination of the two will help but if there’s a Q3 available I’ll ask for it
Great review as always Nobby. Great looking car. Non wireless Android Auto really does let it down though! Wireless CarPlay, wired Android Auto, STRANGE! Unfortunately coming out too late for me to consider it. Got choice of Kuga FHEV VIGNALE or RAV4 EXCEL, but can't decide. Which would you have?
@@NobbyOnCars Nobby mate, neither is a plug in. They are both 'self charging' hybrid. I've driven both the Rav4 Dynamic and Excel and I've driven the Kuga Titanium, ST LINE X and Vignale. Driven about 30 cars in total. With the drives and of course your reviews I've narrowed to RAV4 EXCEL or KUGA VIGNALE. Still can't decide. If I told you yo go out and buy one and I'm paying which would you have? *I'm not paying by the way :)
@@Silver-st2zq pish off you noob! I was merely asking Nobby for HIS advice and if it was HIM what car of the two he'd choose! If you've got nothing constructive to say then zip it!
I don't see many of these on the road! Suspect the angular bland styling compared to the previous model, no diesel, flat petrol engine & the Hyundai / Kia competition are the problem.
Hi Nobby. The Qashqui is undoubtedly a lovely car and I've no problem with it. I just don't want to be the type of person who buys one. No offence to anyone , but God its screams middle class , three bed semi, with kids and a dog. So as they say in Dragons Den , " I won't be investing ".. Anyone who has one , calm down now. It is a lovely car...cheers

Great review, picking up my new Qashqai in October , good look with the channel.
Thanks 👍🏻
Are the digital dials standard on the N-Connecta model?

i've got the same engine in my peugeot 3008 and has the same thing.
Just bought premium spec and i love it .

Hi. Just want to know the tyres in video. Is it turanza T005?

Interesting that it was same car, it would be worthwhile trying a few more cars just to check.
Great review, deposit being paid tomorrow 👍
Thanks Darren - don't forget to tell them you want a tank of juice!

Hi did they fix the flat spot??
Haven’t noticed in the new model personally
Ordered mine last month but 4 to 6 months waiting time

Drive them both. One is a plug in, one is not so see which type of power you’d prefer to live with.

Shortage of stock and certainly, the price has gone up on them.
The lights are not halogen. They are filemant bulbs.
A nice car, but my unit shows very high consumption, which can be a problem.
The petrol 1.3 can be thirsty alright
Looks great on outside , interior seems very dark. Great review.
Prob a little darker in the vid than reality as I needed to use a filter due to it being so bright at the moment.
Always baffles me why there is a transmission tunnel in a front wheel drive car. The 3008 doesn’t have one.

No. How could it. Its packed with screaming, kicking kids...cruelty free , no way !
