How much of the new stuff, if any, can be retrofit onto a version 1 Xpedition? Can the old bike take the new batteries? How about the front fork? Enquiring minds want to know! :-). Thanks for a great initial "look-see."
My xpremium motor has died. My bike shop said Lectric is the best at helping them with diagnostic issues. My bike shop ordered a replacement motor.. Only $350. What a deal for a middrive motor. My exercise bike will soon be back on the trail. My wife will get her xpremium back.

@@pedrofernandez8729 I just looked at the ship dates December 23 for the small battery and into January for the bigger batteries so unless it comes with snow, tires probably not
I really wish they wouldn't have changed the wheels and tires. That is my main issue with this. I JUST bought new tires for my XP 3.0 that I was going to move forward to the XPedition 2.0 when it was inevitably announced, and they made the wheels narrower so my new tires won't work. All of the other changes are amazing, but definitely a bit mad I just spent money on tires that I won't be able to transfer over.
@@UnrivaledPiercer when I get mine in, I will measure to see if you could put a 3 inch tire in there. I suspect you could it has 100 mm spread on the front fork as I have ONE bike that has the same tire on it.
@@GarysE-BikeAdventures My main concerns would be the rim being narrower than the XP 3.0 so the tire sidewalls wouldn't be as vertical, and possibly tire rubbing on the fender. The tires I have on my XP 3.0 right now are from Amazon, the "MMG 2.75-16 (P83)" tires. I've seen other people run these exact tires on the original XPedition, which is why I bought them. If they do fit on the new one, even with the narrower rims, then awesome.
@ I have a couple questions into lectric now. I don’t wanna bother them with too many questions but as soon as I get my answers about the two that I have in there, I will ask him if the rim is the same size on both bikes.
@@GarysE-BikeAdventures From looking at all of the reviews for the Xpedition 2.0, the rim is definitely different than the XP 3.0. But if you're asking about the ONE then I wouldn't know since I have no experience with that bike. If you look at the front head on imagine of the new bike on the website, that front fender looks awfully close to the tire with the stock tires. So if it does fit, it might need the fender removed at minimum.

Looks like you could almost squeeze a third battery in that frame.
