George Carlin once said, "there doesn't have to be a formal conspiracy when interests align," and it’s clear that it benefits the NFL, the media, and others if the Chiefs make it to the Super Bowl. As Colin pointed out, dynasties are profitable for the league, and the NFL likely wouldn't want a Super Bowl featuring teams like the Texans and Commanders. While there’s no direct evidence that the league has secretly instructed referees to ensure a Chiefs victory, it certainly appears that referees are terrified to miss a penalty against them.

I think the Chiefs are in some serious trouble... 1) All of the chatter on the officiating favoring the Chiefs will have an effect of the officiating in this game. No official will want to be at the focal point of another questionable call in the Chiefs favor. The NFL also wants this chatter to end. The easiest way to make the chatter go away is for this game to have no such calls or even 50-50 calls. 2) The chiefs running game is not nearly what it was last season when Pacheco averaged 4.6 YPC. Pacheco seems to have lost some burst post-injury and Kareem Hunt is averaging 3.6 YPC this season. That is a HUGE difference. Without an effective running game, play action will also suffer and the Bills pass rush should be more effective. 3) Last season, the Bills didn't have either starting LB or much LB depth at all. AJ Klein had to be activated from the couch and Kelce ate him alive. In Week 11, with just Bernard back, Taron Johnson shadowed Kelce whenever the Chiefs came out in 12 personnel (their most common package) and it limited Kelce to 2 rec for 8 yards. Even in 11 personnel, I imagine Bernard shadows Kelce. Either way, I don't see a big game from Kelce. 4) Mahomes had 0 rushes in the week 11 matchup. The Bills had Bernard frequently spy Mahomes on passing downs while being close enough to the line (threatening blitz) to occupy a lineman. Bernard would shoot as soon as Mahomes began to roll out of the pocket. Essentially, I think the Bills defend the Mahomes scrambles better than any other team in the league. 5) The Chiefs protection is not nearly what it was last season. Both tackle spots are a serious issue. Even with Thuney sliding over to LT, now the LG spot is also an issue. Much as it has happened all season, I think Mahomes will have to navigate around several pressures and hurries this game. This will also limited the effectiveness of targeting longer-developing routes to WRs down the field. 6) The Bills WRs are uniquely constructed to counter a single elite CB (McDuffie). Denver discovered this 2 weeks ago. Any skill position player can be the #1 read on any given play. Based on the Bills offensive output this season, it is clear they can win in a variety of ways, spreading targets to whomever has the most favorable matchup. Additionally, all of the Bills WRs are healthy coming into this game as opposed to their week 11 matchup where Kincaid and Coleman were injured. 7) The Bills do not turn the ball over. Their 8 turnovers this season are tied for the the lowest total in a season in over 30 years. The Chiefs MO of playing relatively mistake-free and waiting for their opponent to beat themselves won't work against the Bills. The Bills are also #1 is fewest negative plays this season. 8) Most of the media reasoning as to why the Chiefs have an advantage in this game are based on abstract or hopeful such as "Reid held plays/schemes back in their previous meeting". Every team has gameplan wrinkles for a specific opponent. That's coaching. But the media comments suggest the Chiefs didn't care about potentially losing the #1 seed in their previous matchup. That's absurd.
I agree about the ref overcorretion, but everything else you said can be condensed in to this: The Chiefs offense sucks, they don't have explosives anymore. The Bills have a running game and explosives over the top, basically what the Chiefs used to be in years past. I don't see this game being that close, of course, unless there are turnovers or ref interference.
I agree with your first take there actually. I think this will very much be a "let the boys play" type of game. However unfortunately for the bills the chiefs have the better defense and are going to benefit more from that type of game.

Beyond nice. Funny thing is Stroud has more playoff wins than Justin Herbert or Trevor Lawrence. With any luck, JD5 will have more than both on Sunday.
The NFL always has and always will have that face of the NFL and that face right now is red and white. Used to be red white and blue, at one time blue and silver, And it even was red and gold. Even black and yellow. This is what the NFL does and right now the NFL is all about the Kansas City Chiefs
Watson looked great for a couple of years actually, then he took that break & the scandal. Followed by injuries & he just hasn’t looked the same since, Wentz did have one great year for sure. So we do have to give Daniels more time, he looks incredible so far. Stroud did too last year & he had a slump this year, possibly due to his O-Line & losing receivers throughout the year but he bounced back in the playoffs.
Honestly anybody saying the chiefs don’t have the refs in their back pocket is gaslighting. And they’re telling on themselves as to who they work for. Simple solution let each team challenge 1 penalty a game..If you lose the challenge its a 10 yard delay of game penalty..not a loss of time outs.. It comes down to that 4th quarter bad call or non call that they need to get right..

The doofus on the right is about 40% correct on his predictions this season. Let that sink in before you attempt to listen and take him seriously. At least Cowherd knows he’s not as talented as sharps in Vegas and gives Daniels his props. CJ Stroud comparison is a joke. LOOK AT THAT DIVISION THIS YEAR, AND LAST YEAR. Now compare that to Daniels division. I mean hello, the NFC championship is TWO NFC EAST TEAMS who both destroyed teams from “the greatest division ever”. Stroud 🤣🤣. I can’t. Stroud didn’t upset THE 3 SEED ON THE ROAD, then upset THE 1 SEED ON THE ROAD. Stroud has been very successful, yet he’s 2-2 in his playoff career and NEVER EVEN MADE AN AFC TITLE GAME. Daniels has already matched the 2 wins, and done something Stroud COULDN’T do, MAKE a conference title game. He’s exceeded Stroud in virtually every metric outside of TD passes this season. He’s 14-5 as a starter, 74% WIN PERCENTAGE. Stroud is 22-16 lol, 59% win percentage in what is easily the WORST DIVISION in the NFL. Strouds rookie year was nowhere NEAR this level, Jayden BROKE THE ROOKIE RECORD FOR RUSH YARDS OVER VICK, RG3, LAMAR, CAM, ALL OF EM. Except he’s also as good if not better and more accurate passer than Stroud with WAY LESS WEAPONS ON OFFENSE AND A BOTTOM HALF DEFENSE. Stroud on the other hand couldn’t scramble an egg let alone scramble NFL DEFENSES with his legs like Jayden. Lost all credibility with that comparison. Especially considering how plenty of guys (Mahomes, Lamar, Allen, Burrow, Hurts) all were fine after their first year as a starter.
@@rustyshackelford3109some could be a 5 yard automatic first down on 4th and 30 and some could be a meaningless false start inside your own 2. Yardage of penalties isnt everything, the timing of them is
Yeah. Chiefs get called for offsides or something while other teams get called for roughing the passer or DPI on long bomb game changing throws late in the game.
So because the refs help the Chiefs they're not good? That doesn't make any sense. How about the Chiefs are good AND the refs help them. Pull some wingnut stat out that references out of "4th quarter one score games?" That proves nothing. Bad calls are always done early on in games. Houston got screwed multiple times early on in Saturdays contest. The Christmas Day game Chiefs at Pittsburgh was some of the stupidest officiating ever. It's disgusting and quite frankly ruines the sport. The Chiefs should have had 5 losses this season if it wasn't for the refs.
The good thing about Chief and bills game is that both quarterbacks are Refs favorite. So it will be roughing the passer flag will be thrown on both sides equally.
I’d much rather watch local sports shows in Wisconsin for the Packers then national shows they know way more about what’s really going on with the Packers. Plus, they’re much more enjoyable to watch
Why would you bet against Mahomes, Chad? You literally explained why a minute earlier, the Bills fully healthy offensive line is playing outrageously well and their offense is effectively unstoppable, averaging 31.5 points per game all season including playoffs when the Chiefs have hit 30 just ONE time. Bills are on a mission and will be too much for a lesser Chiefs team than past years
This has nothing to do with the chiefs it's about bad calls that the NFL allows and just chooses to allow stand it's destroying the entertainment value of watching football.
Eagles vs Chiefs again would be such a stale Super Bowl. People loved it the first time for Kelce vs Kelce and now people are tired of KC even more and Eagles are alright.
Traditional media saying the amounts of penalties are lying to the public not on the internet about what all the smoke is. It’s the timing. It’s calling opponents first half TDs back when they have a hard enough time scoring. It’s not calling holds, illegal formation, downfield on an explosive play, vise versa for opponent. I thought “wise guys” know about suspect illegal contact/hold on secondary post thanksgiving?

The Eagles will win this game for two reasons: Jeff Stoutland and Vic Fangio. Stout is the Run Game Coordinator, and he designs the blocking schemes for each game. Game 16 will be a Pyrrhic victory for the commanders - they won that game by stopping Barkley in qtrs 2-4, but Stout now has game footage to design a good scheme to counteract their approach. Similarly, I trust Fangio to design a game plan that will throw some changeups for Daniels. I think Wash covers, but the Eagles win outright.
This is the first time I’ve questioned the integrity of the league, and it’s not a question. There is so much evidence of how bad this has been it’s gross. Comparing a team like the patriots who committed virtually no penalties, to the queefs who don’t get called on all the penalties they commit is so disgusting
i'd like to see the breakdown of the 48 penalties of chiefs opponents vs the 47 penalties of the chiefs. thinking specifically of SB 57 with the "hold" on Bradberry that all but elimniated the eagles chances to a) tie the game if the chiefs made the FG or b) win the game if the chiefs missed the FG. Chiefs obv made the FG and there was 8 seconds left on the clock. the play Bradberry was flagged on was 3rd and 8 with 1:54 remaining in the game. raw numbers don't tell the whole picture - context matters.
KC is a great team, but they do get more than their share of controversial calls at key junctures. Both things can be true at the same time. It's not the number of calls, but when they happen (invariably after the other team makes a key play).

You can’t coach out roughing the passer calls because they’re not roughing the passer and the defensive players are doing nothing wrong
The eagle’s glazing is WILD. 🤣
Gimme my commanders !!!!
If you fade Colin, you make money
If you fade Chad you make A LOT of money lol
Chad has proven Bo self to be a clown this season.
Daniels is going to be insane 3/4 years from now as long as he doesn’t wind up like RG3
Colin is so much better on his podcast than his show
It’s the timing of the calls that really matters! Kc tends to get calls at pinnacle moments.
😂 sure...hey did you hear monroe shot JFK?
The NFL always has and always will have that face of the NFL and that face right now is red and white. Used to be red white and blue, at one time blue and silver, And it even was red and gold. Even black and yellow. This is what the NFL does and right now the NFL is all about the Kansas City Chiefs
It's about to become burgundy and gold
Burgundy and Gold for the next 15 years!
Is this guy real or AI?
Freaky dude.
Hey Colin hope all is well,it's been an great season, hope u do this when baseball starts 🎉❤🎉
Betting against Mahomes... no way.
Nothin better than being mid way through a workout and seeing a new video uploaded :)
Get back to bench press, baby mason. Your pecs are lacking.
Man Jaden does look good.. BUT lets see more then one yr. Carson Wentz looked great for a yr also. De Watson looked great too as a rookie.
I’ve seen this team win a Super Bowl on a PI call on a ball thrown into the stands. I hate the eagles, but they got hosed. Nobody thinks the chiefs are then golden stag warriors. They’re the tuck rule pats on steroids
😂😂😂 cry cry cry
Hello, meteorologist who was laid off by that same company last year to cuts. Thank you for bringing up the topic. It’s something we think of often.
2 Monday night games were my favorite thing this year
Chad looks like an AI rendition of a PDF. file
Are you calling all the NFL experts bullshit? I agree with you, including the two of you. 😂
22:27 cowherd just brought climate change into a NFL betting video lol how he does this I’ll never know
How has no one told him yet…
I love the doubt for JD5 by these online pundits. Who is this joker? What "wise guys" is he talking about? The ones who told me to bet Detroit and Baltimore last week? I won big money ignoring these fools!
Wtf are these two going on about??? 🤡🤡🤡
Sorry fellas. Watching a chiefs game is just different from an officiating standpoint. My eyes don’t lie
Only way bills get hosed, is help from refs
Built-in excuses for losing are so cool.
When is the last time the media was straight with us about anything. Remember the steroids era? They looked the other way with that too!
Colin dropped Darnold like a bad habit. Of course he folded like a cheap lawn chair. I’d love to see the Bills in the SB, but you don’t
“pull on Superman’s cape!”
This guy is painful
I finally agree with Chad. Thank you for debunking the stupid Chiefs refs narrative
Love Chad on the show but at this point he just fades the Commanders every week and loses lol. Gotta give them credit at a certain point
Excellent Info ty!
In general, people in the South and West don't care about OSU ND. Add the fact that the game was on ESPN and not ABC too leads to a loss in viewership.
Found the perfect cheat code. Can say that again 😂😂
Simple solution let each team challenge 1 penalty a game..If you lose the challenge its a 10 yard delay of game penalty..not a loss of time outs.. It comes down to that 4th quarter bad call or non call that they need to get right..
I thought it was awesome how Colin bit on the apple too. And then was embarrassed.😂
i think another factor on the monday viewership is monday night raw was on at the same time. wwe is huge right now
It was down whatever millions because a good number of people swore off TV for the day because they wanted nothing to do with the inauguration. I actually forgot all about the national championship.

Thanks Colin for selecting the Bills to win. Chiefs will win.
Remember that the Bills are playing the Chiefs and the zebras
Nice i agree lets see year 2. Settle down Collin. You dont know a qb toll year 3 or 4 becUse pf adjustments and can he adjust back
Anyone who's ever played football at any level knows its easier to hold on the a football when it is slightly deflated. Call bullshit if you want but it true. The Pats were great . Dont want to take nothing from them but it is a fact
Chad looks like he’s aging 10 years every 10 minutes 😂
Anybody gonna Colin that local meteorologist are being fired at record levels?
Milman did.
I agree. But different quarterbacks get different calls. We had Sam Darnold and calls were missed. You either have that guy or you don't.
I am not a fan of either team but I find it amusing that a year ago all of these sports talk show guys thought Sirianni was an idiot and needed to go, but now you don't hear a peep about him.
I take Washington underdog it's only one game who's going to show up
The doofus on the right is about 40% correct on his predictions this season.
Colin “Sometimes I wish I was a billionaire” Cowherd
Not all penalties are created equal. 🙄
Yeah I remember several TD taken from Chiefs for #74 alone, the most penalized player. Dude is frustrating.
LOL, yah some are 5 yards, some are 10 yards and some 15 yards.
@@rustyshackelford3109some could be a 5 yard automatic first down on 4th and 30 and some could be a meaningless false start inside your own 2. Yardage of penalties isnt everything, the timing of them is
@@SteveSanders-v1m Yah and some could be a false start when a team is up by 14 with 3 minutes left. What is your point.
This guy is born and raised in Philadelphia.
Yeah.
Chiefs get called for offsides or something while other teams get called for roughing the passer or DPI on long bomb game changing throws late in the game.
So because the refs help the Chiefs they're not good?
That doesn't make any sense.
How about the Chiefs are good AND the refs help them.
Pull some wingnut stat out that references out of "4th quarter one score games?"
That proves nothing.
Collin is always wrong. I bet against him and I earn a fortune.
I did the last 2 weeks and had the best 2 weeks of my gambling life.
The good thing about Chief and bills game is that both quarterbacks are Refs favorite. So it will be roughing the passer flag will be thrown on both sides equally.
the number of penalties is unimportant. the timing of the penalties is
I’d much rather watch local sports shows in Wisconsin for the Packers then national shows they know way more about what’s really going on with the Packers.
Now compare KC penalties in the playoffs. Does KCs coaching staff carry Mahomes, or is it the refs?
Eagles vs Chiefs again would be such a stale Super Bowl. People loved it the first time for Kelce vs Kelce and now people are tired of KC even more and Eagles are alright.
If KC gets any call that looks weird it's gonna be a bad deal for the NFL
Traditional media saying the amounts of penalties are lying to the public not on the internet about what all the smoke is. It’s the timing. It’s calling opponents first half TDs back when they have a hard enough time scoring. It’s not calling holds, illegal formation, downfield on an explosive play, vise versa for opponent.
I thought “wise guys” know about suspect illegal contact/hold on secondary post thanksgiving?
Great love your content
Tom Brady has admitted that the Patriots received favorable refereeing since retiring. I think when Mahomes retires, you are liable to hear him make a similar statement.
The Taylor Swift ripple effect. No way do the refs want to look like anti-Swifties.
It comes down to scoring in the NFC and the Eagles can struggle while playoff Wash can. I think they can win so can cover a big spread.
Eagles #1 D.
@@madhatterer1978the better qb plays for Washington
@@Luci-my2ku one year. He has done it for one year. He has played great and I give him all the credit and respect, but like I said one year. I have seen plenty of guys play great for one year. If he continues to play this way then I'll give him that.
This is okay but the push rush which is an actual play is destroying the sanctity of the game 😒
Flagged for 47...committed 90...
I really don’t want people picking the Bills, I can’t watch another superbowl with them in it
If not for a kyren Williams fumble if not for a puka drop if if if
The Eagles will win this game for two reasons: Jeff Stoutland and Vic Fangio.
😂 cry more it's funny
i'd like to see the breakdown of the 48 penalties of chiefs opponents vs the 47 penalties of the chiefs. thinking specifically of SB 57 with the "hold" on Bradberry that all but elimniated the eagles chances to a) tie the game if the chiefs made the FG or b) win the game if the chiefs missed the FG.
Ok so here are my picks it's 10 am mountain standard time. Washington and buffalo wins today road dogs win buck the betting. No team has three peated champions so no kc. No rookie has ever made the Superbowl as a qb both are outliars and both will come to fruition today!
