I love your review. Thank you for sharing such pertinent information. I do love how sparkly the chain is, as well as the diamond. It is a beautiful timeless necklace. I was debating between this and Tiffany’s Diamonds by the Yard. After watching this video, I can definitely see the difference. I prefer the Cartier one. I love the Cartier logo next to the clasp (I can simply turn the necklace around if I want a different look). Thank you again. ❤️

What made you go with xs instead of small? I’m torn between the two!
It boiled down to the budget I had and if I purchased a small then I would have to forfeit buying something else… so I got greedy and went for the XS instead. ;-)
I tried it today and I don’t get the dangly but because I have thick neck and I use the full length of the necklace. I can’t decide between Cartier and Tiffany. Did you compare them at all??
I only have this one from Cartier but I'm sure the one from Tiffany is very nice too... it all comes down to which piece "sings" to you when you try it on... best to go to the store if you can.
What made you go with yellow gold versus rose gold? Becasue i am torn between the two :(
Same dilemma. I've read in some forums that cartier pink gold (esp in love bangles) tends to fade in color overtime and would eventually look yellow gold. I was like "might as well get it in yellow then" hahahaha :)
if you want the real gold, and nothing mixed in the metal then go for yellow gold. Rose gold has copper mixed into the gold... so it's not "pure" anymore. It also depends on your skin undertone and which metal would be more flattering. Ideally visit the store to try it on... you will be so tempted!

Yes I just leave it on 24/7... I will wash it in my jewelry cleaner every now and then. Still looks brand new after all these years!

Do you keep this when you shower? How is it holding up?
Holds up great and have no issues for all these years. Just clean it in the ultrasonic cleaner once in a while for extra sparkle and to remove any soap residue.
Cartier jewelry are beautiful, but so overpriced. That diamond necklace is also made by EFFY, at a fraction of the price. I buy Effy from Macys, bought a very similar one for $390 on sale in 2019 (1 pt tcw).
