Players once again take on the role of the Doom Slayer, an ancient warrior who battles the demonic forces of Hell, from a first-person perspective. The game continues its predecessor's emphasis on "push-forward" combat, encouraging the player to aggressively engage enemies in order to acquire health, ammo, and armor. The player has access to various firearms, such as the Combat Shotgun, Super Shotgun, Heavy Cannon, Rocket Launcher, Plasma Rifle, BFG 9000, and Ballista. Melee weapons such as a chainsaw, the "Crucible Blade" energy sword and a retractable arm-blade called the "Doomblade" can also be used. The arm-blade provides the opportunity for a larger variety of quick and violent "glory kill" executions, which drop extra health. The Super Shotgun is now equipped with the "Meat Hook", a ranged accessory which grabs on to enemies and slingshots the player towards them, functioning as a grappling hook, useful both in combat scenarios and environmental navigation. The Doom Slayer's armor now includes a shoulder-mounted Equipment Launcher with the ability to lob grenades and ice bombs. Additionally the Flame Belch is a flame thrower, which causes the enemies set on fire with it to drop armor pickups. Finally, killing enemies with the chainsaw will drop ammunition. New movement mechanics such as wall-climbing, dash moves, and horizontal bars to swing from have also been introduced.
I really like the cinemotography on the back ground for this one. The big fight scenes, giant robots punching out world-ending demons behind you, the over the top action sequences when you borrow your allies gear..just a fun way of doing this climatic battle build up scenes. Also the fights looked really intense in this one, in a good way.. Kinda sad we're almost done given how crazy this has been :(

The beginning of this level is easily one of the most bad-ass moments in any DOOM game to date.
This was definitely a Pato fight at it's peak right here i believe... When Pato fights a battle like this u know it's gonna be a serious rip and tear! Amazing walkthrough cool to see that ur skills got too be putted to the real test as the Doom Slayer!! That's how a real hardcore Player plays the game! Ok fr tho, that was like an avengers moment right there when the portals opened and your allies arrived...
This was one of the most epic war build up scenes i have ever witnessed in my life. Also you really must get deep into a flow state while recording these, cause damn, your gameplay is fucking masterful.
-Doom Slayer and the forces of good vs. the Dark Lord vs. the forces of evil. Let the battle begin.
-1:40- And look who it is! It's Valen! And he's here to help out the Doom Slayer! =D
-Man, look at all of the fighting that's happening in the background while the Slayer is battling his way to the inner portion of the city. It looks really awesome if you ask me.
-4:35, 6:49- The Escalation Encounters in this level are pretty darn hard just like the ones in the first two levels. You did quite a fantastic jobs in those encounters.
-9:40- Giant robot punch!
-12:05- Wintherin breath!
-13:28- Oh, the Slayer's doing the thing that he did back in the Mars Core, where he launched himself like a cannonball into a building.
-14:42- Seems like the Demonic Troopers are similar to Zombie Soldiers, except they cannot be chainsawed or glory killed. It's kind of weird that id classified them as "ambient" enemies; I guess it was done on purpose so that the player can't glory kill or chainsaw them.
-16:14- So it was the Dark Lord who was the one controlling Samur Maykr to free the Doom Slayer and make him stronger? Wow.
-22:45- That's pretty badass.
-24:03- Thanks for the help, Intern. The Slayer won't forget you for what you did to help him reach the Dark Lord.
-24:21- Daisy's there to help cheer the Doom Slayer on his final fight. Awesome.
And now it's time for the final fight: Doom Slayer vs. the Dark Lord (in the next video, that is).
Been waiting for this one!! You did not disappoint! These Doom Eternal videos are like ASMR, but with ripping and tearing, I love the patience and calculation, it just flows so smoothly!!
