Tomorrow marks 3 months of living in my car, so here is an updated tour! Almost 20k subscribers that is INSANE!! Thank you for all of your support, it really means so much to me! I will be premiering the next video, so make sure notifications are on!
And thank you for the content play some watching your experiences and how much you have grown and the inspiration Nikki has on others I wish you guys the best and stay safe
Hi Sarah!Congratulations! On soon to be 20K!!👍 wow that fast!💥 always a thumbs up with coninued success for you! Wow you have it all together! Your so Ravalous!😂 I notice your shirt ( stovepipe) do you storm spot/ chase like me,,or is that the skateboard phrase instead of the tornado phrase..😂I'm thinking skateboard which is better lol..don't do as I do 😂 but I do or try to protect our communities with storm spotting.. good luck be safe with traveling mercies🙏 and looking forward to the next video,,God bless!🌎🎛🏞🌞 waittt stovepipe is the surfing term!😂 i think anyways 😂 lol,, I need to go to bed, it's late! Haha
Watching this feels like dejavu! Haha! I just LOVE seeing your progress and learning with you what does and does not work for you! Go cousin Sarah! Can't wait to see you on the road again soon, maybe another slumber party for old time sake?! 😜
You and your cousin are some of the most generic boring personalities out there and are the type of people that do this lifestyle because it’s trendy not because you’re actually passionate
You're such an inspiration Nikki and have so much influence on Sarah I've loved watching your videos the last few years and seeing Sarah mature over these years and seeing her out there on her own is awesome I wish the best for both of you stay safe and I might have a couple gems for you out west if you would like to hear
COUSIN NIKKI!!! Hi Camper, Hi Rodney, I hope you're having a fun adventure right now and your mama is filling your belly with yummy treats. Take care all and safe travels! 🐾 🐾 💛💛💛💛
I lived in a Honda Fit for three years, two big things you need to upgrade ASAP: Wind deflectors for your windows...they let you keep your windows cracked so you can get fresh air during the rain. Remote starter for the car, allows you to run the AC/Heat from the back of the car and via remote. Comes in handy trying to make a quick run when I need to keep my puppy cool, without having my key in the ignition. Also remote start has a 15 minute timer so you can run the AC at 3am, without having to be awake to turn it back off.
I would recommend getting a Thule Bin for the roof of your suv. They can free up a lot of space in the main part of the car but they are far more secure than you car. When you go on a hike you can put your expensive gear in the Thule Bin. So much harder to break into them than it is to pop a window in the car.
A good idea, but it will negatively affect fuel economy, especially on the highway. Another option with minimal impact on MPG is a hitch-mounted cargo basket, but those can get in the way.
I am 30 now and used to travel like this living in a car as well when i was mid 20's. It was such a fun time, and now we get to re-live those good times through Sarah!
Must be great to have cousin Nikky as a reference for the good boon docking, BLM, and town stealth camping sites. Also a fan of quicker , NO BS, videos. Less than 15 min long works for me.
wow she’s so organized. People really inspire me with their organization & minimalistic approach. I am quite the opposite thinking I need a ton of things & I have lots of miscellaneous items. Nonetheless, thank you for this video
4:20 there are expanding clothes hanging rods that hook onto your grab handles that could be multi function for you including more hang drying space. There’s a million and one different organizers that could make your life easier but if you ever decide to do any building I would personally put in a long drawer for under your stuff like you see some van lifers use for a pull out kitchen.
I have a twenty eleven rav 4 I found a solar panel from Amazon that fit perfectly in my luggage rack under a hundred with no drilling I use it for my fridge and fans ran it right into the jackery
I own a 2022 RAV4 hybrid, I’m 6’1" and it would be cramped for me, you’re right , not much room. Now I have a little experience living in a vehicle, I was homeless for 2+ years and one year of that was sleeping in a Chevy HHR, also compact, but the rear seats leveled out rather well, unlike my RAV4 . I do like the 40 mpg of the RAV4 ,but then again the HHR got 35 mpg. Great going, enjoy your travels, I couldn’t see traveling alone, I’m not a big time people person but , it’s all I can do from having panic attacks when traveling alone, part of that is due to my age (67) and health concerns.
Everybody seems to be getting pets to travel with , dogs for protection , and cats for company . Sarah you should get an attack cactus ! You can leave it alone and not have to worry about feeding it and it would keep you company ! Stay safe !
You seem pretty organized and have most of what you need. You didn't show it but a small backpacking propane stove can do a lot and not take up much room. A water filter can help as well when you are boondocking and need water. The Rav4 is a nice roomy vehicle, gets good gas mileage and is super reliable. We bought one for our daughter. Nice to not have to worry too much about your home having issues.
A fork & spoon or a croctool is a spork , 5 in 1 / is the best camping utensil is a spoon, fork, knife, peeler and a bottle opener comes with a hard carry case very handy to be true, I love mine I take it everywhere with me ☺
Hello Sarah❤, I loved seeing you with Cousin Nikki and I'm so so excited, enjoying, and absolutely beyond loving your video's/adventures ❤ Sending much love, many hugs, and safest of travels always🙏🥰
I love that you have games! Made sure to bring mine too when I downsized for vanlife. One thing I think would help you out is a quick dry camping towel. They dry fast and fold up small!
Additional Gear: SIG P365 -or- Smith & Wesson M&P 380 SHIELD EZ I know, I know - not everyone is a gun person. But I'd want more than pepper spray if it were my girls doing this for those solo off-grid camping excursions. When my daughters moved out, I made sure they each had the M&P 380 SHIELD EZ, were comfortable manipulating it, and were adequately trained with several hours put in at the range. Anyway, enough of the "Daddy Soapbox". :) Keep up the videos and content! You're doing a fantastic job.
You and your cousin have incredible personalities, a thirst for life and adventure, knowledge for days, and just overall you’re such a breath of fresh air to explore with. I love your channel already and I’m excited to see where you go -literally and figuratively. 😊Sending love and good vibes ✌🏻💖
I like that you chose a Rav4, they're a lot more useful then a Prius........just sayin😁 Just one suggestion; tinted windows will help alot with privacy especially in the day time so people can't tell that you're living in your Rav
Sarah, you are so organized. Saving the items for a scrapbook is a great idea. I've done the same thing over the years and sometimes used high quality postcards when I didn't get a great photo. Looking forward to your premier. Safe travels.
I also like that post cards say what is in the photo, so I don't have to remember. Also, Sarah, I recommend putting dates on your materials for your scrapbook. Do you keep a journal?
I like that idea of collecting pamphlets of your visits. I did something similar as a kid. I collected state road maps on the family road trips. Unfortunately I no longer have them. Map apps on devices are useful. But they don’t show all the roads unless you zoom in on a particular area. Paper maps are more helpful in that regard.
My wife and I camp out of our RAV. You have a nice setup. One thing we really like is a solar panel on the roof. It charges our power station, which powers our DC refrigerator, so we do not need ice. We also have a microwave. Happy Travels.
That was great Sarah! I liked how you told us what you have in certain areas, and then laid it all out so we could see it. Also, I LOVE ShopRite. I used to work for one too, and I moved South and they don't have them here. I miss ShopRite SO much. The prices and sales are the best!
Great car tour. Wasp spray is a very good human defense. Get the one that sprays over 20ft. Its more powerful than pepperspray and legal in all states. 😊
Just subscribed Cousin Sarah. Have been a subby of Nikki's for ages, so always enjoyed the episodes that you were in, always smiling and entertaining. Glad to see you got the Jackery. Hope you get a tazer too. Happy adventures Sarah, Namaste, Louise Australia 🇦🇺 💖
I used to stay in a chevy trailblazer. I put solar on the roof and got me a solar generator and a dometic fridge freezer. Microwave, crockpot, and rice maker. The only thing missing for me was a bathroom. Had a portable shower.
I enjoyed the tour of The Rich & Famous of your crib. You are awesome Sarah and I’ve been enjoying watching your journey and look forward to your next video. Safe travels!!! 😃
Greetings Sarah, thank you for taking us along on your travel adventure. You are doing a great job with vlog and I always look forward to your next one. Safe travels & best wishes!
WoW! 20k & So Fast. Nicely done young lady. Just totally admire your positivity and Many Smiles!😆It's Fun cheering you on! Thanks for taking us along with you. Keeping you Covered in prayer, Always. Blessings young sister.🙏🫶 You Go girl !!!😃
So nice and organized, I wonder who gave you some ideas... Anyway, I was just thinking that a paracord from the front handle to the back handle would help hang your towels and things to dry.
Fellow 2017 RAV4 owner checking in, thank you for the tour! I plan to do some traveling from here in AZ to surrounding states and you have some great ideas for how to store things. People also leave great ideas in the comments, how awesome 😁 Safe travels, Sarah!
Started watching your videos. Love seeing the places that you and your cousin Nikki explore. You should come up with a signiture lunch or dinner that's says SARAH. Nikki has her famous bag salad with freshly cut carrots. LOL... Maybe you can do something unique with the Mac and cheese. Great videos. Be safe.
im originally from nj I love shop rite. I lived in union county my shop rite was clark nj. Im a long distance truck driver love your enthusiasm. And your cute.
Thank you Sarah for a wonderful insight on how you store and live in your car. Lots of nice suggestions listed here so I won't add anymore, at least not now. OH, I always like to take my US map and take a marker to trace the roads I travel on and make tiny note along the way of places to return to or just fun info. If you are ever up in Northern Utah ( we live in Midway just south of Park City) you are welcome to stop, rest and explore from here. Stay safe, hugs from the old man in Utah.
I hope you are still enjoying your car life, Nikki is the best advisor if you need help, stay organised and safe, don’t forget to enjoy the experience and explore, kind regards Sarah ✌️❤️🇬🇧
Love ur organization! That's a lot of stuff, all critical to have of course but amazed how well it all fits. I wud get a Fire blanket extinguisher. They last much longer than the bottles & take up almost no space. I have bot mine as 5 pks. fron Amazon. ( I'm in a house with an outdoor kitchen)
Hi Sarah, I know you are brave as your sister Nikki but saying that please be always cautious in terms of were u stay and what you eat, well rest u will learn from your experience.. Stay safe Ciao
You have a power source so why not get a refrigerator? I don't recall if you have a simple single burner stove or Jetboil? Under your bed you could slide a foldable table for outside at camp or those collapsible bed tables. You could get a closet dowel rod and cut it to reach across the passenger rear grab handles, then get hanging organizers if you desire more storage it will high and mostly out of the way. Didn't notice a fire extinguisher or carbon monoxide detector. Adventure on!!
Great video , Sarah ! I hope you get a Jackery soon ! You can also get a solar charger for your phone that you can put on the dash or hang from the rearview mirror . Have fun and stay safe !
Subscribed. I saw you on Nikki’s channel a couple times! Glad to see you started a channel! I’m so tempted to pursue a life in a van. If you’re ever in SW FL again, you have a friend.
Hi Sarah, I love your TH-cam vlog and hope we all get to see more of you on YT ! Your warm and sweet personality keeps me captivated to see more & more. Your editing is awesome. It got me wondering if your college major was journalism 😊. Well, take care and love your content.
Hey Sarah! Love seeing your updates and your travel adventures!🌟🌟🌟❤🌻 Jackery with solar panels might be a great add...and mini frig...and mini cooking propane . Then you can have hot meals.❤
There's just one thing to think about when traveling alone. I did it for 15 years I never kept anything on the passenger seat that way no one wouldn't know I was by myself.
A OBD2 scanner is good to have and costs less than 30 and can fit in your glove box so if your check engine light comes on instead of freaking out you just hook it up to your car and it will tell you what's the issue instead of going to a dishonest mechanic. A tire pressure gauge is the size of a pencil and will let you know how much air pressure is in your tires and is less than 3 dollars. A yellow note pad to write down creative ideas for your next video. Haul's and Advil. A poster of Nikki on your ceiling for inspiration. A bag of latex gloves to keep your hands clean if you're touching dirt or grime or preparing certain food or eating certain food since water is a delicacy living in your car. Some valium to calm down and not care when you're around those trucker people at Loves overnight. I think that's pretty much it.
The pepper spray is a good idea but I would get the bear spray. It’s far more potent. I think it’s illegal to use on people but if you ever have the need to use it I wouldn’t be concerned about that. My wife carries both.
Tomorrow marks 3 months of living in my car, so here is an updated tour! Almost 20k subscribers that is INSANE!! Thank you for all of your support, it really means so much to me! I will be premiering the next video, so make sure notifications are on!
Sarah don't be like your lefty cousin. Get a pistol and a carry permit for safety. Pepper spray doesn't work.
Thank you, I will turn on notifications for new videos from you
Love you Sarah! Best of luck to you!!
And thank you for the content play some watching your experiences and how much you have grown and the inspiration Nikki has on others I wish you guys the best and stay safe

We NEED a Nikki and Sarah road trip!❤
You and your cousin are some of the most generic boring personalities out there and are the type of people that do this lifestyle because it’s trendy not because you’re actually passionate

COUSIN NIKKI!!! Hi Camper, Hi Rodney, I hope you're having a fun adventure right now and your mama is filling your belly with yummy treats. Take care all and safe travels! 🐾 🐾 💛💛💛💛
Yes another road trip very soon! ❤
A portable jump starter is what every vehicle should have.I recommend NOCO Boost
I'll definitely look into that, thanks!
I lived in a Honda Fit for three years, two big things you need to upgrade ASAP: Wind deflectors for your windows...they let you keep your windows cracked so you can get fresh air during the rain. Yay!!
Put ice in zip lock bags to keep your cooler from becoming a bucket of water😎
I would recommend getting a Thule Bin for the roof of your suv. They can free up a lot of space in the main part of the car but they are far more secure than you car. Both great ideas.
Thanks for the idea!
@gasolinefumes I'm thinking of getting a hitch basket mount myself, plus easier to get into for us shorties 😂
@@gasolinefumesAlso not stealth
I am 30 now and used to travel like this living in a car as well when i was mid 20's. It was such a fun time, and now we get to re-live those good times through Sarah!
Still super young 😊

She is so helpful in many ways. Very lucky to have her!
An Element fire extinguisher is always a good safety item to have IMO
wow she’s so organized. People really inspire me with their organization & minimalistic approach. I am quite the opposite thinking I need a ton of things & I have lots of miscellaneous items. Nonetheless, thank you for this video

So many places to visit and so little time. Enjoy the journey and thanks for taking us along. Stay safe my friend.💜🩵💜
Wow...a jackery charging station? what a surprise!! 🤣 Hope you used the discount code
LOL - exactly what I thought too!!! :')
A fork & spoon or a croctool is a spork , 5 in 1 / is the best camping utensil is a spoon, fork, knife, peeler and a bottle opener comes with a hard carry case very handy to be true, I love mine I take it everywhere with me ☺

A Space Case for your roof would definitely benefit you Sarah. 👍
A place for everything and everything in its place! Have a great adventure. 😎

I have to organize my car everyday to keep it like this! Yes super excited to make a scarpbook in the future. Post cards are a great idea!
emergency fire starter materials as well

This is how I'm gonna set up my rave...simple, minimal, and stuff piled up. I love it.
Super well organized car. Very inspiring. I hope my car will be as organized for the next camping trip. 😊
Great setup and clearly works well for you. All I would add is somewhere to securely store your laptop etc.. while your not in the car.
That’s a good year 2017 for the RAV4, looks like you have all the essentials and a minimal amount of stuff, Good luck to you..
That was great Sarah! I liked how you told us what you have in certain areas, and then laid it all out so we could see it. Also, I LOVE ShopRite. I used to work for one too, and I moved South and they don't have them here. I miss ShopRite SO much. The prices and sales are the best!
Thank you! Haha same haven't seen a ShopRite since I've left home
Just so doggone cute! Always a pleasure to follow you in your travels and adventures! Thanks for taking us along!
Great car tour. Wasp spray is a very good human defense. Get the one that sprays over 20ft. Its more powerful than pepperspray and legal in all states. 😊
If your ever in Indiana for hiking or as you travel the USA, stop by for place to park. I also love playing tennis.
You always make my day happy

Smart organizing, Sarah! Good video. Don't forget the Wimius (go-pro clone) I mentioned. It's also very compact.
I enjoyed the tour of The Rich & Famous of your crib. You are awesome Sarah and I’ve been enjoying watching your journey and look forward to your next video. Safe travels!!! 😃

So nice and organized, I wonder who gave you some ideas... Anyway, I was just thinking that a paracord from the front handle to the back handle would help hang your towels and things to dry.
You’re doing a great job. Seems like you have everything you really need to live and seems very organized. Nice video too! ❤️
It’s incredible how professional your videos are already. It’s like you’ve been doing this for year’s.
Thank you :)
Fellow 2017 RAV4 owner checking in, thank you for the tour! I plan to do some traveling from here in AZ to surrounding states and you have some great ideas for how to store things. People also leave great ideas in the comments, how awesome 😁 Safe travels, Sarah!
Your videos are definitely something to look forward to. Great job, Sarah!
I think you should get a large thermos for hot water during the day if you are getting free hot water from Loves before you start your drive.
Be safe.
Yeah!!!!! Hey Sarah.. I love your channel 💕
Thank you :)
Nicely done! Great organization and utilization of space in the RAV4. Nice to see the Jackery make an appearance :-) Go Sarah & Go Bulls!
Yay Sarah!! Great to see another awesome video! Happy trails, and take care
All you need now is a plug-in cooler for that Jackery--Will save you a fortune on ice !!
So fun to see you follow in Niki's footsteps. Look forward to seeing your adventures. Happy Trails.
great work, Sarah!!1
Looks like you’re figuring this out. I wish you the best 👍🥰
Awesome video, keep it up! I live full-time on the road, but in a slightly different fashion.
im originally from nj I love shop rite. I lived in union county my shop rite was clark nj. Im a long distance truck driver love your enthusiasm. And your cute.
That's one clean 2017 Rav ! I have a 2022 that isn't half as clean ! Good job !
Haha I literally have to organize it every day
Great planning. You got the essentials plus play stuff. Love it
Thank you Sarah for a wonderful insight on how you store and live in your car.
I collect the national park pamphlets too❤
I just found your channel and of course I subscribed. I wanna see you going 0-100 in your journey 🙏🏼

Hi Sarah, looks like your off to a Great start can't wait to see your next video and am totally looking forward to your future videos!
Nice setup! Looks like it works for you.
Thanks!
You're the best Sarah keep up the good work girl God bless
Hi Sarah, I know you are brave as your sister Nikki but saying that please be always cautious in terms of were u stay and what you eat, well rest u will learn from your experience.. Stay safe Ciao
Thank again for sharing ur inspiring journey,Sarah...Take care always & Happy travels✌✌✌
I recommend a 12v cooler fridge. Also a roof carrier to store your gear.
I would include a Swiss army knife for obvious reasons. Also a larger knife for protection and making kindling if you want a campfire.
Thanks for sharing, be careful out there.
I'm Sarah's first today 🎉🎉
Yay! Thanks for being here :)
Great Job Sarah! 😊
Happy travels Sarah. 🚙
Hey Sarah! Love seeing your updates and your travel adventures!🌟🌟🌟❤🌻 Jackery with solar panels might be a great add...and mini frig...and mini cooking propane . Then you can have hot meals.❤
Good stuff. you basically MacGyvered your own mobile home. I grew up in NJ so good to see ShopRite stuff. lol.
Sarah great vid/ praying for you as u travel alone, that God will keep u safe! Shalom!💙
Thank you!
Hi Sarah, I enjoy your vlog and love watching you grow into road life. You are having fun and feeling safe. Yippie
