जब पहली बार "वहाँ कौन है तेरा" सुना था तब तुरन्त "क्यों नाचे सपेरा" पर ध्यान गया कि क्या बात लिख दी। मज़ा आ गया था तब भी, अब जावेद साहब से सुनकर लगा बड़े से आशीर्वाद भी मिल गया। शुक्रिया बॉबी भाई इस वीडियो के लिए।

To write a poetry is not difficult because you have to only write on paper what thought comes in your mind. But for a geetkar of Hindi films the job is very difficult because you have to write what the character male or female is thinking in the film. Particularly for a male geetkar to think what thought must be going through a female character. Kavi Shailendra is great in this aspect . One example is enough. Consider film 'Bandini' and the song ' Abke baras bhej bhaiya ko babul ...' . whenever I listen to this song I have tears in my eyes. I can imagine the pain and agony of the girl who is married at a very early age. My salaam to Kavi Shailendra who could feel the pain of that girl .

It's really sad, it was because of financial failure of Teesri Kasam took his life. His loss at an early age of 43 years was huge loss of our society. Shayad hi koi aur "Chalat Musafir le Gaya Re" aur "Duniya Banane Wale" jaisa geet likh sakta hai.
Javedji what a.ltribute . Shailendraji was indeed a public philosopher who shaped a lot of my values and life.

मैं बदकिस्मत हूँ कि मैंने शैलेन्द्र जी को नहीं देखा पर धन्य भाग मेरे कि मैंने जावेद साहिब को सैंकड़ों बार देखा और सुना है। एक बार तो महज पांच कदम पर था पर उनसे मुखातिब होने का साहस नहीं कर पाया।
वाकई अद्भुत थे शैलेंद्र 👏👏और जावेद साहब भी उनके शान में क्या शानदार बातें कही हैं उनके लिए भी तालियां बनती हैं 👏👏👏

सही कहा जावेद साहब ने शैलेंद्र जी उच्च कोटि के गीतकार थे। उनका ज्ञान दस दिशाये गीत मे आया तब संगीतकार शंकर ने हँसी उडाई कहा दिशाये चार होती है बात राज कपूर तक पहुँची उनका विश्वास था शेलेन्द्र पर सही ही लिखा है।गाना बाज़ार मे आगया किसी ने आपत्ती नही की।मुझे को भी समझ आगया हर दो दिशाओ के बीच एक दिशा होती हैं आकाश और पृथ्वी के नीचे भी दिशा है कल दस दिशाओ की सही गणना होगई।महान गीतकार शैलेंद्र को नमन।आज भी उनके लिखे गीत उनकी याद दिला देते है।दुनिया बनाने वाले काहे को दुनिया बनाई,किसी की मुस्कुराहटो पे हो निसार किसी का दर्द हो तो लेसके उधार जीना इसीका नाम है।टूटे हुए ख्वाबो ने हम को ये सिखाया है दिल ने जिसे पाया था आंखो ने गवाया है।😊🙏💐👍

Dil ka chaman ujatey dekha pyar ka rang utartey dekha hamney har jeene wale ko dhan daulat pe marte dekha dil par marne waley marenge bhikhari -------+ kitni badi sachai kitney aasan shabdo mein kehne ka kamaal shailendra ko haasil tha.
During his 1962-1966 phase (when he was going through the utmost difficult time in his life for unnecessarily putting hand into the movie Teesri Kasam) his true feathers came in colour and the real Shailendra came out then.
.
While slowly he was dying being alone at his shabby home, no one to take care of him as his family had left him, smoking whole day, drinking heavily.......till December 24, 1966 he wrote some pathos, the lyrics of which are beyond the mind of a ordinary human to replicate again.
.
Listen these songs which he wrote around 1963-1966, in his last mourning days....... He was completely weak and getting weak every week.

1) Film Guide, song... Rula ke gaya sapna mera....... Sapna was his flop movie Teesri Kasam
2) Film Deewana, song.... Woh zindagi, ae meri bebasi..... Bebas those last days.
3) Film Chhoti si Mulaqat, song....Jeevan ke do raahe pe khade..... He was in a dilemma what to do... To live or die.
4) Film. Guide, song... Aaj fir jeene ki tamanna hai, aaj fir marne ka iraada hai...... Life vs death.
5) Film Teesri Kasam, song..... Sajanva bairi hogay hamaar..... Written when his wife left with the kids and went to her fathers place in Bihar.
6) Film Raat aur Din, Song.... Raat aur Din jiya jale....... Those painful nights.
7) Film Door ka Raahi, song.... Ek din aur gaya, hai ruke na ruka..... Sometimes life is so difficult counting days.
8) Film Guide, Song... Din dhaljaaye haye, raat na jaaye...... Such was his agony that nights used to spent as nightouts on Juhu Beach.
9) Film Raat aur Din, song.... Jeena humko raa na aaya...... This gives a lot about his feeling towards the life.
10) Film Gunahon ka Devta, song..... Chaha tha banoon pyaar ka devta...... This song makes him feel that he has done gunaah and calls himself Gunahon ka Devta.

On Paul McCartney’s hand written lyrics of the song ‘Yesterday’ being on display at a literary museum in London besides the works of Shakespeare, Yeats and other literary figures: you may be aware or be happy to know that the 2016 Nobel Prize in Literature was awarded to the American singer-songwriter Bob Dylan (born 1941) "for having created new poetic expressions within the great American song tradition".
Interestingly, Mr. Dylan cut the phone call from the Nobel prize academy the first few times thinking that it was a prank call. They later said to him that they may have no choice but to withdraw the Nobel prize if he did not respond. It is then he started to realize that he had indeed won the prize.
