Man that first meteor pattern didn't make sense for a while. Kept thinking top left was safe but the pattern is mirrored so what's top in the sky lands on the bottom on the platform.
@@xh3NNIN9x think of it as if you put the palm of your hand up right, fingers pointing upright and then place your hand on your desk. @@burnersforhim Because it showed me how much of a pawn I was for the game, how little they care for my own view on things and how they hijack MY avatar for THEIR story. @@somederp8915 … what ? how was saving the town in holminister switch not a good thing ? you do know this is a story based rpg game right ? did you not want to help those people ? i’m confused on how you were ‘ forced ‘ when the entire expansions premise was freeing the world of ominous light .
@@burnersforhim Saving? We merely avenged it. Most of the population and wildlife were already turned. And why? Maybe cause Alisae and us were thinning the ranks, causing the Sin Eaters to restock? I know it's a story based game. But I went into FF14 as blind as possible, meaning no expansion trailers as well. I went through the game, did not skip dialogue and did all expansions before Shadowbringers. Where it feels forced is that basically it's the last day before World War 1 on the source and we get kidnapped into another world, told to care by someone who is very suspicous and should just have talked to us straight, and even get lied to that a friend would have had a vision of our death (did not know the lie at that point, but was 95% convinced it was a lie due to how he said Urianger reacted). We then get to explore the first and I have to say, I prefer the everlasting light. Imagine you wake up before sunbreak and get home after sunset. I basically only can game during nighttime. You know how nice it was to have an always sunny area greeting me? And while some might find it looking "depressing", I found it beautiful. But yeah, Tesleen's transformation did not really touch me as we only met her 10 minutes before and she died trying to save a child that was next in line to be euthanized anyways. Eulmore was supposed to show how people lost hope and are being mistreated, but I saw it as Alisae also lieing to me, as we could see the Sin Eaters can be bargained with to coexist! But yeah, this all cumlinated in Holminster Switch, where we don't save anyone, escalate the conflict with the Sin Eaters (as they will notice someone absorbing the Lightwarden, causing an escalation of stakes) and removed the Everlasting Light which I prefer over the night I always have to deal with in real life.
