TH-cam demonetized the original video because I said "dumbass" at the end too much, and on top of that claimed I didn't properly rate the video (which is bullshit). So I removed it. TH-cam is getting worse and worse, and with every policy change, it becomes that much harder to regularly create content with the freedom that I need to say what I want to say. I don't think calling my own characters that I created "dumbass" is worth demonetizing my fucking video. I also don't think sending out notifications OCCASIONALLY is the proper way to conduct business, either. This site is going down the toilet, and they don't even realize why, which is entirely the problem.
I am very heavily considering creating a Rumble account, where I can upload the uncensored versions of these videos there. If I do that, just be aware that my TH-cam videos will be pussified, kiddie versions that are extra curated with kiddie gloves and sparkles and rainbows. That seems to be the only kind of content they want here.

Scar didn't want to kill Simba because he didn't want blood on his paws. If he did, the lionesses would've picked up the scent of blood left on Scar and realize Scar contributed to the death of Mufasa and Simba.
For the God approving of Simba scene, they say later in the movie that the stars represent the Great Kings Of The Past and even later on then that Mufasa appears in the clouds to talk to Simba, so realistically it was most likely Simbas ancestors showing their approval of their new family member
Literally the first sin is my favorite CinemaSins cliché: "characters acting in character - DING".
Also, birds perch. It's a thing birds do, because flying isn't free and wings get tired. It's not laziness, it's just a biological need. Another "Jeremy doesn't understand how things work" instance.

There are two versions regarding Timon's origin. In the Timon & Pumbaa episode "Once Upon a Timon", Timon lived in a colony that was ruled by the Duke Meerkat and every meerkat in the colony had specific duties in which they all take seriously. One day, the Duke was away and Timon had guard duty, but he left his post to speak with Princess Tatiana, the daughter of Duke Meerkat, whom Timon had a massive crush on. However, a snake invaded the colony and kidnapped Tatiana after Timon was gone. As a result, Timon got blamed for abandoning his post and was exiled from the colony. He soon met and befriended Pumbaa, who was also an outcast. The two then came across Tatiana, who was held captive by the snake, and rescued her. When Timon and Tatiana returned to their kingdom with the help of Pumbaa, Timon was offered to marry the princess and get the good life he could ever want, but he decided to live the Hakuna Matata life with Pumbaa instead.
In The Lion King 1½, however, Timon and his colony lived in underground tunnels, where they dig in constant fear of hyenas. Timon is primarily shown as the every-man meerkat of his colony, who longs for a better life and according to him: "...where we don't have to dig tunnels and live with our heads stuck in the sand." Due to his poor digging skills, he was disliked by his fellow meerkats. His mother convinced his uncle Max to put him on sentry duty, but it ended in disaster as Shenzi, Banzai, and Ed invaded. As the meerkats (except Ma) blamed Timon for the invasion, Timon decided to find a new home as he felt he didn't fit in.
So in both stories, he failed to be a lookout like Birdman theorized.

Technically three versions. In the original cut of Hakuna Matata in the original film, Timon talks about how he used to live the same 'One long grind' under the Meerkat colony, he accepted his lot in life without question and only quit his job when he realized he was a lazy slacker. Yes, this was redone to be the story from 1&1/2, but this was an idea made during the time of the Lion King and was established before that film came out if one listened to the Lebo M and Jimmy Cliff version of Hakuna Matata.
So, as Winged Bluj said: Yes, as the Birdman theorized, Timon was a failure in his colony.
12:36-13:03 When you think about why Scar had the Hyena's try to kill Simba it actually makes perfect sense. Scar's a schemer and had Scar actually killed him in that moment even if he washed his paws multiple times the scent of Simba's blood would still linger on his claws and it's highly likely Sarabi & the other Lionesses would pick up on the scent and realize he took both Mufasa and Simba which would be really bad for Scar considering he wants to usurp the throne. So rather than take a pointless risk he sends the Hyena's to do the job for him so SImba's death can't be traced back to him. Makes complete sense when you think about it.
It's always nice to hear someone acknowledge that Scar's original name meant garbage.
In regards to Scar wanting to be king, he just wants power. Really not a hard concept to grasp.
16:25 Timon is an outcast because of his actions shown in The Lion King 1 1/2. He collapsed a tunnel resulting in the whole burrow coming down. This happened at least four times in one week. While not mentioned, it seems it has happened several times before even that. He was given sentry duty to which he failed in that as well. He became an outcast to find his own path.

Fun Fact about Hyenas: Despite their dog-like appearance, they're actually related to cats. So, the Hyenas working with Scar kinda makes sense. You're still making good points, but I just wanted to share that fun fact.

Once again, regarding his expecting Simba to act perfectly logical in a certain scene, let's take a look, shall we?
Simba is a lion cub with a _massive_ stampede of wildebeests headed his way and could easily be trampled to death if he makes any kind of wrong move and doesn’t know that help is on the way, so obviously, he has to rely on his survival instincts, aka the fight or flight response. Fighting is obviously a no-go and freezing in place won’t help either, which leaves him with one option: run away as fast as he can until he can get somewhere relatively safe.
In Lion King 1.5 Timon got exiled because he failed at his job, you are correct.
Also want to add that in a scene removed and deemed unfit for the demographic, Scar tried to mate with Nala on more than one occasion, which is another reason why she left. Meaning that Jeremy's sin is even *less* relevant because Nala was also terrified.
Well, technically Timon left on his own volition. Unless you’re talking about that one episode of the Timon & Pumbaa show instead of Lion King 1.5.

I HATED the new TH-cam Rewind. I liked it the old way, showing the memes and stuff, but they shoehorn in something about creative equality (frankly I don't remember.) Creative equality IS important but when it's stifled, it isn't equality, it's now on the side of what the COMPANY wants, not what the creators want.
It is also worth noting that elephants are known to mourn and "bury" their dead. the idea that the elephants would have a specific spot to keep their dead, and that they would move their dead to that spot especially in a film where the average animal has MORE personified characterization and intelligence then a real elephant, isn't outrageous
Scars has a lot of queer coded traits that a lot of older villains used to have because of the Hayes Code. That said, even if that weren’t the case it people would make gay whoever they wanted gay.

1. Depending on if your using the movie or the series, Timon got kicked out for different reasons. But basically he failed at his job.
2. The series showed that Simba was used by gladiators in the arena

...also in both scenes that CS sinned for "Simba should've gotten his ass kicked" Simba DID get his ass kicked - first by Nala, who pinned him down just like she did back in their cub days (which triggers the memory and allows the two to recognize each other) and then by Taka, who also kicks him on his back, and the only reason Simba wins that one is due to Taka deciding to be cool at the wrong time, giving Simba an opportunity to retaliate.
That 90s Disney logo. Ugh, I miss it so much. I will never forget seeing that logo when playing one of my VHS tapes on a slow Sunday morning in winter.
Referring to sin 11 (about the gazelle) 4:13, not to mention in lion prides the females are the hunters so a male lion (whom we've already established the animals recognize as King) walking calmly with his cub wouldn't seem like a cause for alarm, in my opinion.
We need an EWW episode about TH-cam....but that would be 10 years worth of minutes.

A. Him saying Simba has never been in a fight is blatantly untrue since he swiped Shenzi across the face with his claws as a kid, and then literally fought Nala in the Jungle when she was chasing Pumbaa
2. He said himself that Scar was well beyond his years, and this was when Simba was a child. Scar has only gotten older and Simba is a strong young adult lion, the direct offspring of Protein King Mufasa; we literally saw Simba leap from a dangling position off a clip and pin Scar to the ground in one move. If anything Scar is lucky he could even hang with Simba for as long as he did.

Timon is an outcast because of the backstory events stated by other commenters, but also, it doesn't matter. All that matters to the story of the movie is that he is an outcast. Or, as SinsSins put it, "this is a thing that the movie should not be taking time out to explain, because taking time to explain it would detract from the pacing and add nothing to the plot".
10:10 To add to your point: THIS IS ANIMATION. Y'know, the media where you can DO WHATEVER THE HELL YOU WANT AND EXAGGERATE HOWEVER THE HELL YOU WANT?!? Increase of size for dramatic effect is very common in animation (and comics), of course they would make that elephant spine bigger than it actually is. Jesus Chris, dude, Jeremy would have a heart attack if he watched Genndy Tartakovsky's PRIMAL because that show takes so much creative liberties and constantly exaggerate sizes for dramatic effects. …And a mental stroke because that show has no dialogue and its storytelling is all visual, meaning you'd actually have to pay attention and Jeremy severely lacks any ability to pay attention.
Love how Jeremy implies that living the hakuna matata life means simba wasn't hunting anything. Pretty sure he'd be dead if he didn't. Hakuna matata is about a positive outlook on life when simba was at his worst moment it doesn't mean that he is not a lion anymore. Obviously he wouldn't eat his friends but he'd still hunt and why tf would timon or pumba try to stop him? Their entire spiel is that they are lone wolf outsiders, even if he'd kill someone of their species they'd probably not give a shit especially because they have a positive outlook despite their own situation. Simba kills a warthog whatever hakuna matata.

Let me see if I got this right.
The timeline starts with the previous Future Birdman who was basically Present Birdman at that time doing EWW: CinemaSins videos that were 5 or 7 minutes or less, then in 2018, Present Birdman (the one that we already know about, and shall be known as Present Birdman 2) starts his EWW CinemaSins videos with EWW CinemaSins: Blade Runner 2049. Then in August of 2018, in the EWW CinemaSins: The Cloverfield Paradox video, the previous Present Birdman shows up but is identified as Future Birdman who teams up with Present Birdman 2 from 2018 to 2023. Next, on February 13, 2023, in the EWW CinemaSins: House Party video, Future Birdman gives Present Birdman 2 the Time Stone in preparation for the ending of the original video, Jeremy Scott attempting to recreate the dance moves from House Party and after seeing it, Present Birdman 2 has now turned into Future Birdman and the original Future Birdman disappears. So, Present Birdman 2, now identified as Future Birdman 2 shows up in the EWW CinemaSins: The Lion King video which the new Present Birdman (who shall be named Present Birdman 3) is doing. And now Future Birdman 2 will be teaming up with Present Birdman 3 in future EWW CinemaSins videos.

16:24 Believe it or not, there is a movie that explains that. It's called *The Lion King 1 1/2*. I haven't seen it in well over a decade, but I do remember this:
Timon used to live with his family. As a meerkat, his daily task was to just dig tunnels and hide from hyenas.
He was bored of this life (similar to Z in Antz), and he decided to leave his family and start a new life. He later meets Pumbaa, and they become friends.
By the way, Raffkki tells Timon about Hakuna Matata, and Pumbaa knows the word too, so that's how that song came to be for them. :)
The movie also shows that they were there for many scenes in The Lion King. For example, when the kingdom bows at Simba's birth, it was actually to cover their noses when Pumbaa lets out a large fart. LOL! :)

Timon is an outcast because he refused to work in his meerkat colony, leading to his exile ¹. The Lion King's screenwriters wanted Timon and Pumbaa to be "strangers and fellow outcasts" so that Simba would have someone to take him under their wing
When this video first dropped, I decided I needed to go back to the beginning of this series and watch the whole thing through--I've been following for years, but I wanted to see the whole narrative at once, and now I'm back at this video (well, kinda, since you had to reupload), and I just wanted to say that not only do I enjoy these videos individually, but I really love the overarching storyline and characters you've made. I've been enjoying it regularly but going back and watching everything again all together was a lot of fun and made me catch a few details I'd previously missed :D keep up the excellent work, you're one of my favorite creators on this site and I'm excited to see what comes next!

Both instances of "Simba should get his ass kicked here" ignore the fact that, yes Simba DOES get his ass kicked. Nala pins him and Scar knocks is ass through the fire. Simba only wins the Scar fight with a lucky kick that launches Scar over a cliff in to the vengeful maws of the hyenas.

Sinning the scene where Simba heads home are the shooting stars are flying that was is sick. It’s probably one of the best scenes in Disney history. Simba goes home and he’s being led by the stars/his ancestors or they are running with him.

Let's rise up with some favorite sins: 1) Sinning African rituals 2) Jeremy makes a pop culture reference that this movie is also making so it shouldn't count cliche 3) That is entirely the point of a SERVANT, to SERVE a purpose 4) It's almost like Disney's movies were usually about royalty or something 5) Either you don't know how big an African bush elephant is in comparison to a lion cub, or you don't know what perception means 6) Umm, because wildebeests are pretty good at this sort of thing? 7) I mean, Hopper was kind of eaten by a bird... 8) In addition to lions and wildebeests, Jeremy doesn't know how fast and agile these warthogs are 9) It's called being in heat 10) Something else 11) Jeremy makes a pop cul- 12) I don't know. Actually, it's more because he wasn't great at his job. He causes multiple tunnel collapses every week and one time on his sentry watch, he daydreamed, which nearly led to his own uncle being eaten.

If you look up the deleted version of Hakuna Matata Timons part explains how he hated living life as a meerkat constantly digging holes, standing guard, living underground until he lost his mind so he left his colony. Lion King 1 1/2 just added a few extra details.

Aha! My stupid amount of knowledge on this franchise is finally coming in handy! So the reason Timone is an outcast is because he couldn’t do anything right back with his mob(yes that’s what a group of meerkats is called).
