With due respect and understanding to the prior comments, I know what you mean. It's been a DOOZY hearing some of the accusations spill out, especially from the set of the Wonder Years Remake. I do wanna refresh my memory by researching some of these incidents because this sadly wasn't the 1st time that it happened.

The fact that he is obviously nervous shows how humble he is despite his early success and frankly, recent success with "Girl Meets Word." Talking about REAL issues can be difficult and he just feels relatable.
Powers that be in cahoots run amok of dark alliances to maintain status quo, the bs in hllwd to elsewhere, and so on doesn't like things nor those who do what he's trying to get done. Them cabals have historically preyed on dissents, protestors, watchers, observers, witnesses such as kennedys, mlk, others like them to third parties exposing dirts, unholy partners that control things to their greed.
Just to be clear, being a Political Science major is not like being an astronaut or something rare with an exhaustive list of requirements to achieve it. Literally anybody who has the money to go to college and gets accepted to college can major in political science as long as the college or university offers that major. What matters is policies and the fact that Ben thinks tone is the most important thing doesn't bode well. Someone can have a very polite tone in congress and still sit back while people starve, are homeless, lack medical care, etc. Tone doesn't put food on the table. He gave very vague answers about issues without listing specific policies he supports to help those issues. I liked his show, but that doesn't mean he's the congressperson people need.

This isn't necessarily the same as a Donald Trump situation. California is in need of more progressive leaders as most of our democratic leaders are aging out and honestly borderline republicans. I seriously doubt he'd get elected based on his celebrity after being mostly out of the spotlight over the years.

It's crazy to think that Ben Savage was a kid from the neighborhood and now he's a grown-up taking up political positions. Btw, he does look like a Congressman. Um, I liked him on "Boy Meets World," but I'm skeptical. Making "tone" the priority doesn't help people make a living wage, have healthcare, a roof over their heads, address the climate crisis, and prevent wars. There were a lot of 'I'm for good things and against bad things' platitudes coming from him, but he danced around avoiding specifics. He wants people to have housing... okay, what specific policies does he support for that? How about healthcare... Does he support Medicare for All? Does he support $15 an hour minimum wage, considering it hasn't been raised since 2009, while the price of everything has gone up? He's had the privilege to not worry about the cost of his education and was able to have the opportunity to have an unpaid internship with Republican Senator Specter (who demeaned Anita Hill during the Clarence Thomas hearings), and Ben did not have to worry about how to pay rent and buy food while being unpaid... So, where does he stand on making state colleges free for all and forgiving student debt, which he wouldn't have need for, because was already rich in college? I hope he plans on doing more to earn people's votes than falling back on pretty words and being famous.
He also wants MORE funding for the already grossly overfunded LAPD. No need to replace a conservative Democrat with another one in West Hollywood. Marianne Williamson should run for Congress and be a serious contender for this seat instead.
My mom was a mayor for a year and met Martin Sheen. She didn’t even know who he was bc she doesn’t watch a lot of tv and this was before social media. I like to think of Ben as my generations Martin sheen in the liberal democrat side. There are actors and actresses I like that are conservative republicans. I think Joey Lawrence is my favorite. I can see both sides. I’m a moderate. But if I still lived in CA., I’d try to help with his campaign. I am also thrilled to know he’s married. I didn’t know he actually got a degree in politics. I love what he said about compassion…he is fighting my battle…I have challenges.

Good for him for pursuing another career. He genuinely seems like a good guy. Although I could tell he looked a little uncomfortable when they played that boy meets world clip towards the end.

I'm the boy!
Um, I liked him on "Boy Meets World," but I'm skeptical. Making "tone" the priority doesn't help people make a living wage, have healthcare, a roof over their heads, address the climate crisis, and prevent wars. There were a lot of 'I'm for good things and against bad things' platitudes coming from him, but he danced around avoiding specifics. He wants people to have housing... okay, what specific policies does he support for that? How about healthcare... Does he support Medicare for All? Does he support $15 an hour minimum wage, considering it hasn't been raised since 2009, while the price of everything has gone up? He's had the privilege to not worry about the cost of his education and was able to have the opportunity to have an unpaid internship with Republican Senator Specter (who demeaned Anita Hill during the Clarence Thomas hearings), and Ben did not have to worry about how to pay rent and buy food while being unpaid... So, where does he stand on making state colleges free for all and forgiving student debt, which he wouldn't have need for, because was already rich in college? I hope he plans on doing more to earn people's votes than falling back on pretty words and being famous.
He also wants MORE funding for the already grossly overfunded LAPD. No need to replace a conservative Democrat with another one in West Hollywood. Marianne Williamson should run for Congress and be a serious contender for this seat instead.

My mom was a mayor for a year and met Martin Sheen. She didn’t even know who he was bc she doesn’t watch a lot of tv and this was before social media. I like to think of Ben as my generations Martin sheen in the liberal democrat side. There are actors and actresses I like that are conservative republicans. I think Joey Lawrence is my favorite. I can see both sides. I’m a moderate. But if I still lived in CA., I’d try to help with his campaign. I am also thrilled to know he’s married. I didn’t know he actually got a degree in politics. I love what he said about compassion…he is fighting my battle…I have challenges.

I always like BMW. While Cory was not my favorite character exactly, I just always liked Ben. I would vote for him if I was a California resident. He seems to be talking right from the heart. Smart man, clearly. Really good guy from what I can see.
