I was hoping the baby was born healthy. Hearing that mother and unborn baby got a clean bill of health was a relief.

Why do we see mirrored footage at 20:08 ?
Unless of course Aussie police had left hand drive vehicles in the 90's & had their uniform badging manufactured backwards!

"water moving at 12mph is putting approximately 6 to 700 pounds per square inch on your body"
I don't think THAT is true.

Arizona has ended its "stupid motorist" laws mostly because people weren't calling to get rescued and were dying thinking they woudl get stuck with the bills. BTW I used to routinely drive through a low water crossing when it was safe but flooded. I floated my civic across a few times in about 3 feet of water or so, it would float and hit the other shore, I had to hit it at the right speed to make it across. Any fun at that water crossing was taken away when someone decided to drive into about 25 feet or so of moving water, the river was about 50 feet across then, now its more than 100 feet after that flood with two distinct channels when it used to be just one.

People should be charged for driving around barriers and endangering the lives of rescuers. There is no excuse for stupidity.

Peter F. How did you find out what they were thinking before they died?

A good thing to know about water is that it is easier to follow the flow. In a rip current, the water will bring you back to shore eventually. I would think that in a flood it would be a good idea to go with the flow while trying to swim into the path a tree or something else that you could grab onto.

Smh I'll never understand why fucking water channels attract kid skateboarders. I never would go near those things as a kid.
