Recently bought these for $39 and they sound better than I expected even after reading a bunch of positive reviews prior, they have more bass than some reviewers seem to note I'd say they're even comparable to my Sony MDR-XB500s which are labeled as Extra Bass headphones, The JBLs can go just as low and it's very clean bass just like the Sony's, Other than bass the headphones sound is very closely with the Harman Curve as noted in other reviews so the midrange / treble is also very pleasing without being harsh, Overall pretty crazy deal at the current black friday $39. I charged them 2 days ago and the battery is still at 90% EDIT/Update: So I recently replaced the ear pads on my Sony XB500s and the bass became much more present almost to a fault as it reduced mids & highs, apparently when ear pads wear out they lose a proper seal around your ears which reduces bass, so now i'd say the JBL's might not have the same exaggerated bass profile as the sony's it's not a bad thing lol. I actually liked the XB500s sound signature more with the old worn pads.

My 650’s sadly died and I picked up a pair today, at first I was disappointed, I felt my 650’s had a more premium feel but the more I look at my 710’s I feel it’s not less quality, just different, the audio quality is great, over all for the price I got them at, no complaints. About the "Unique" connectors on the auxiliary cord, the reason the sides are not interchangeable is that the connector with 3 stripes carries the microphone information, so it can be used for calls. That's why the 3-stripe jack goes into the phone and not into the earphone.

I love these headphones. Got them a couple of days ago. The sound is balanced in my opinion. TH-cam with these headphones are ok but with high bit rate tracks is where these truly shine. Currently looking for a battery replacement just in case it dies in the future. Any leads on where I can get them? I'd hate to throw out a functioning headphone just because the battery can't be purchased.

I use them but i do notice they arent as good as my skullcandy wired aviators for music sound as i use them and others for production, not by a long shot. They are great for general listening however if you are not used to being spoilt re sound as they are one of the better wireless I’ve used for general use, however i had to take a pair back after a week as the on button just kinda died.they booted up on charging but that button had no control in it..id have to plug it into charger to pair again..so yeah tried all resets but no button still died so new pair was sought as i do really like them. Its not a unique cable, its a 2.5 like a bose…its just most headphones have 3.5..you can buy an adapter pretty cheap, but yeah they are really comfortable, i wear headphones for at least 7 hours a day and these ones for hours and even sleeping…no issue. Most snug not moving ones and the most comfy ive ever worn.
I would love to, but I have cut my hair since this video. Right now I have a military crew cut. But I loved having this hair and my advice would be to get it. Your hair will always grow back but I think it's important to always be trying new things and hair is a fun way to do that. :)

Great review!! How would you say these feel while using them with glasses/sunglasses? My current headphones push the side of my glasses into my head which makes wearing them for hours a pain so I’m looking for a new pair.
I wore the headphones with my glasses for an hour and a half today and I thought they were pretty good. The pads didn't squeeze the glasses into my head and they were pretty comfortable overall. I did notice that they didn't cancel out noice quite as well with the glasses on. This is just my experience, it may be different with different types of glasses. Hope this helps! 😁

Great review! I just want to add that this headphones aren't "over" the ears, they are considered "around" the ear, meaning that they cover the whole ear but they don't seat ON your ears. What you said about paying a bit extra for electronics is almost always true. I have the BOSE Q15 and I got them about 7 years ago and they still sound and feel like brand new. The only thing that I had to do was to replace the patting once wich it was extremely easy to do and just about $15!!!

For long usage these are amazing! Personally when running or in the gym I prefer my Airpods, but if you like to wear headphones in the gym these will work just fine. I wouldn't recommend them personally for zoom meetings because the microphone is not the best. It works, but isn't very clear. Hope this helps!

The JBL tune 710 btnc headphones are similar in feel weight and size to the headphones that I was describing in this video. The only major difference is the fact that they have only a 10-hour battery life and intensive noise canceling. I have never seen or used the JBL live 500bt headphones so unfortunately I can't tell you anything about them. My advice would be to compare the two items on Amazon or the JBL website. Good luck!

Ok so I tested it a bit and it seems that overall the headphones do work great for calls, you can hear what the person is saying through both ear pieces and the microphone is ok. I would definitely say it was scratchy but that might be because I live in a place with terrible reception. Overall the mic is definitely strong enough for calls or zoom meetings but I don't think it is the best in terms of sounds quality. Hope this helps! 😁

I have a pair of these headphones but just 1 drawback I noticed, I don't know if I'm making some mistake anyways. Anytime I initiate a WhatsApp call from this headphone with Bluetooth connection only without the cable connector, my receiver never hears me but I can hear them. If I receive a WhatsApp call on it, it works fine. Do you have any clue about what might be wrong?

Hey my guy. I just bought these pairs today but I am a bit paranoid tho or not sure if I’m just very anxious to this. I received the headphones and from out of the box i tried it but it doesn’t have any power. So to use it i tried charging for at least 30mins. So i connected it to my iphone it sounded very low on volume,low reverb and bass. Is it because it has less battery so possibly it’s not on it’s peak performance?
Fantastic review I owned a pair of JBL 660nc they where great sounding headphones for the price so I’m definitely a fan of the of Jbl but my main question is are these supported by the JBL headphones app?

The mic on these headphones is ok, its not great for calls or gaming, but it is usable. Definitely wouldn't recommend them if you are going to use them primarily for calls.
Wow I'm inclined to buy a pair after that review! Been looking for a pair of decently priced headphones for a while. Only thing I'm concerned about is background sounds due to no ANC
I would not personally recommend them if you sweat a lot. I sweat a LOT when I'm at the gym, and that will destroy the leather and glue on the ear pads. I would recommend some form of ear buds. I have a video talking about the ones I use if your interested! Good luck!

Sorry, I'm not sure how to help you. You are absolutely right though. The microphone on these headphones is definitely not my favorite and I would not recommend them for gaming for that very reason.

I like to listen to my music super loud but I get conscious of the noise leak. How is the noise leak? how loud can you turn up the volume until you can ear it from an outside perspective?
I totally understand that. The noise leak on these is really low, unless you are like right next to someone, on max volume, they will not be able to hear what you are playing. The leak is very low.
I would probably still recommend them, but there are tons of great headphones out there. These are neither the best or the worst. They just work well for their price point. It all comes down to what you need.

Hey thanks that's a great point. You can check the battery in the Bluetooth settings on your phone or computer. I usually change the eq inside my preferred listening app. Most streaming apps have a built in eq these days. Hope this helps.
Hi bro, does yours pairs have a weird issue where the cable doesn't fit in a proper way and the headphone only play in one side? Also, does music with channel panning effects like Left and Right by Charlie Puth or Hell Shell by Yung Nudy works properly on cable? Cause mine only works on Bluetooth 😐
I’ve just got them as my coworkers gifted me these for my birthday yesterday, they knew I wanted a pair for the gym and now after this review I feel happy and chill about them. The only question is, is the leather good? I mean, I’m scared that after a few months at the gym the leather will start to get ruined easily due to the sweat and I’ll have to get them replaced
The leather is pretty good. Mine are about a year old and the leather has started to crack around the edges, but I also don't gym with them. My friend who used to workout wearing these said the leather is ok as long as you make sure to dry them out after you work out, and make sure to use a towel while you workout to prevent as much sweat getting into them as possble.
I think the bass is slightly better but not that much. The highs on these headphones tend to get mushy when at high volume but besides that the sound is great!
I have found that if they are on your ears other people can't really hear what your listening to unless they are right next to you and you have it maxed out on volume. However if they are around your neck or not sealed around your ears, they sound like small speakers. So that might bother people around you. Hope this helps!

Well, I don't have much experience in that area, but the Bose QuietComfort are amazing on bass, so is the Sony WH1000XM3 and I have seen a lot of good reviews on the bass in the Skullcandy Crusher Evo! Hope this helps!
The bass is similar in tone, but less in intensity. The JBL have good background bass, but it tends to be punchy and have low reverb. The other headphones have a deeper more reverb heavy bass.

Why would you need to throw them out? You can use them wired.
one end of that cable is just for the output audio from the device giving the sound and the other end has a microphone connection on it.

Keep the volume lower when around other people and make sure the headphones are fully on your ears

As there isn't a mention of up tasting or it being sweat resistant
Its a pretty good pair of headphones to work out with, however the leather on the ear pads will wear down faster if you sweat a lot in them.

I've usually seen it referred to as Over-Ear: fully goes around the ear, and On-Ear: sits on the Ear

how is JBL 710bt for daily long hours pc usage, 30min run, gym, zoom calls.. compared to tws earphones

Ok so I tested it a bit and it seems that overall the headphones do work great for calls, you can hear what the person is saying through both ear pieces and the microphone is ok. I would definitely say it was scratchy but that might be because I live in a place with terrible reception. Overall the mic is definitely strong enough for calls or zoom meetings but I don't think it is the best in terms of sounds quality. Hope this helps! 😁

I have a pair of these headphones but just 1 drawback I noticed, I don't know if I'm making some mistake anyways. Anytime I initiate a WhatsApp call from this headphone with Bluetooth connection only without the cable connector, my receiver never hears me but I can hear them. If I receive a WhatsApp call on it, it works fine. Do you have any clue about what might be wrong?
Not sure. Mine have a problem sometimes with the mic when connected to the computer. Try it on annother device mbby.

The Rose color is very much like it shows on the website. If anything it almost looks white after some time.
Hey my guy. I just bought these pairs today but I am a bit paranoid tho or not sure if I’m just very anxious to this. I received the headphones and from out of the box i tried it but it doesn’t have any power. So to use it i tried charging for at least 30mins. So i connected it to my iphone it sounded very low on volume,low reverb and bass. Is it because it has less battery so possibly it’s not on it’s peak performance?
Also it may sound different depending on the EQ preset that you have on your music player.

Fantastic review I owned a pair of JBL 660nc they where great sounding headphones for the price so I’m definitely a fan of the of Jbl but my main question is are these supported by the JBL headphones app?

How was your voice during voice calls ? Is it clear to the one that you talk to ? Because some other headphones are bad in voice calls ,feels like your in a cave or something ..appreciate the reply
The mic on these headphones is ok, its not great for calls or gaming, but it is usable. Definitely wouldn't recommend them if you are going to use them primarily for calls.
Wow I'm inclined to buy a pair after that review! Been looking for a pair of decently priced headphones for a while. Only thing I'm concerned about is background sounds due to no ANC
Trust me, you’ll hear nothing in the background. I just got mine and they are very loud even though some say they arent.

Thanks for the informative video. Are they sweat proof? I sweat a lot at the gym and want to know if its ok to wear them when working out
I would not personally recommend them if you sweat a lot. I sweat a LOT when I'm at the gym, and that will destroy the leather and glue on the ear pads. I would recommend some form of ear buds. I have a video talking about the ones I use if your interested! Good luck!

I really need someones help, i got these pn christmas and they were amazing for like 3 or 4 days and then i started having eczema around my ear like around the ear hole lol idk how to call it and it just really hirts but i still want to wear them. I am using some creams onto my ears but still after long wearing it hurts. Someone please tell me some top how to stop it. Thanks

Sorry, I'm not sure how to help you. You are absolutely right though. The microphone on these headphones is definitely not my favorite and I would not recommend them for gaming for that very reason.

I like to listen to my music super loud but I get conscious of the noise leak. How is the noise leak? how loud can you turn up the volume until you can ear it from an outside perspective?
I totally understand that. The noise leak on these is really low, unless you are like right next to someone, on max volume, they will not be able to hear what you are playing. The leak is very low.

I would probably still recommend them, but there are tons of great headphones out there. These are neither the best or the worst. They just work well for their price point. It all comes down to what you need.

Hey thanks that's a great point. You can check the battery in the Bluetooth settings on your phone or computer. I usually change the eq inside my preferred listening app. Most streaming apps have a built in eq these days. Hope this helps.

I’ve just got them as my coworkers gifted me these for my birthday yesterday, they knew I wanted a pair for the gym and now after this review I feel happy and chill about them. The only question is, is the leather good? I mean, I’m scared that after a few months at the gym the leather will start to get ruined easily due to the sweat and I’ll have to get them replaced
The leather is pretty good. Mine are about a year old and the leather has started to crack around the edges, but I also don't gym with them. My friend who used to workout wearing these said the leather is ok as long as you make sure to dry them out after you work out, and make sure to use a towel while you workout to prevent as much sweat getting into them as possble.

I think the bass is slightly better but not that much. The highs on these headphones tend to get mushy when at high volume but besides that the sound is great!

If I blast music is it easy to hear through from the outside?
I have found that if they are on your ears other people can't really hear what your listening to unless they are right next to you and you have it maxed out on volume. However if they are around your neck or not sealed around your ears, they sound like small speakers. So that might bother people around you. Hope this helps!
I will never understand why jbl and akg cant just have the play/pause button be two clicks for track forward and three for track back, like everyone else does it
It does have 2 clicks forward though. I have never tried 3 clicks. I have to try it now!

Well, I don't have much experience in that area, but the Bose QuietComfort are amazing on bass, so is the Sony WH1000XM3 and I have seen a lot of good reviews on the bass in the Skullcandy Crusher Evo! Hope this helps!

The bass is similar in tone, but less in intensity. The JBL have good background bass, but it tends to be punchy and have low reverb. The other headphones have a deeper more reverb heavy bass.
