Not many strikers we linked with scores more than expected goals like Son does. Both Hoffenheim's Beier and AZ's Pavlidis scored 5 more goals than xG. They also post high number for shots on target. Pavlidis seems to have high work rate. High number in passing distance, touches, and defensive actions. Winning 56% of the tackles for a striker. Beier's stats are pretty good for a 21 yrs old in a more competitive league. They are likely for sale at reasonable price.
Chiesa is more of an inside winger/forward which we dont play with.. our wingers stay wide, wouldnt suit him. Why go for kyogo when we already have sonny to play that running in behind role? We need a target man striker for when teams low block us Doue is a good shout!!
@@danielhackett1581 he actually plays across all positions along the forward line except striker, which probably hasn't helped him as managers move him around all the time rather than let him cement a position. My only fear is his injury record.
Ederson is also a CM more so than a DM. Most of these players you are suggesting dont even play in the positions you are suggesting for them (mostly). Check the transfermarkt stats, shows you how many games they played in each position
Califiori is a LCB . Sure he can play LB but is well and truly a Cb. In which case he's competing with Vdv .. is an international Cb want to sit on the bench as a backup? Don't think so
I don’t think any will be happy to be on the bench but we have an international in Dragusin doing so already. There will be plenty of playing opportunities now we are in Europe but get your point he may be too good for a backup role. COYS
@OhSoSpurs if I was Califiori and I had a choice between a team he's likely to start at and another where im competing with van der ven then I know which team I'm picking
@@danielhackett1581 that's the difficulty building a strong squad. Calafiori is mainly a LCB, but I think if we got him as cover for vdV and Udogie we could offer him plenty of game time. Also the step up from Bologna to us could be tempting, unless a top Italian club goes for him in which case I agree with you that he won't choose us.
60-70m player will target big clubs with CL and money. The ones want to join us are probably not worth the fee like Ndombele. To be top wage earner but doesn't contribute much to the team.
Hey again Daniel! Thanks for the comments. He can play both and has done. Feel he would make a good backup option as wing back and a better option than Werner as a LW. COYS
Mats Wieffer is a great shout! Would be perfect in our system as the 6. So too Geetruida as inverted wing back
Oh so sensible spurs debate. Thank you guys. ❤
Thanks Jayne 😀, hope you are doing well! COYS
Great content Lads! Very thorough and informative.
Thanks for the kind words 💙 COYS

Good feedback and point Daniel! Feel we need some succession planning for Son now though given his age regardless, even if it’s someone else. COYS
Chiesa can play BOTH the inside forward and winger.
@dutchgrass sure but he's more an inside forward.

Ederson can play the CM & DM. I have watched the actual games.
@dutchgrass sure but he's more suited to CM rather than DM. Need to be buying horses for courses
@@danielhackett1581 personally I think he is the horse for the course.
Eze has a release clause so no one is paying silly money for him.
Yes true Daniel 👍
DJ I think your dart board is too low
Yeah sort it out DJ!

With respect, I'm bored with any talk about Martinez. He won't, ever, leave Italy, not will he, ever, come to the Premier League, chaps
That’s fair Simon! Stu did caveat it with him being a dream signing that was completely unrealistic 😉. It’s going to be an exciting summer
Illing junior is LW not a wing back especially not as an inverted fullbacks in this system

@@OhSoSpurs he might have played as a wingback before but certainly not as an inverted one and is more of a winger.
I cannot believe Ange would accept Toney…
You have a point. It might be the kind of personality Ange doesn’t want near our dressing room.
I think if we did sign him, it would suggest he isn't as bad as he has come across as I agree with you, Ange isn't bringing a tosser into the club
@@dutchgrass yes that would be evidence
That's my thinking also , Ange don't go backwards at any of his last teams
