Judah Taylor Damn thats harsh lol. But the thing is though that everything he went through shaped him into this. Like true he was fucked up from the start, But if you look back he was not as fucked up as he is now.
Yep it's sad, mother kidnapped and murdered in front of him, father poisoned also in front of him, crush made his enemy, and now this, not even Gordon has so much bad luck.
William Darkhölme Penguin cares for a lot of people. He cared for his mother, father, probably Jim at one point, Fish, Edward, and now Martin. The main reason he is a villain is cause he wants to be respected and have power over others so he's willing to step over some people to achieve his goals. But that doesn't mean he is heartless lol
He cared for his mother, I havent reach this far yet but it kinda seems interesenting, can't wait to reach this episoded...Gotham realy made me like 2 characters I hated from the Batman games and comics...Penguin and Nygma
It’s weird, penguin is such an evil character but he seems to always have hope set for Gotham, like his belief in Gordon at the start of the show. it seems he wants to do good but he just has a very messed up set of beliefs, possibly from his upbringing. How he raised this kid was almost a great thing for gotham, this kid had a much better belief system and was also incredibly well socialized so he was able to play along with penguin without being totally manipulated but also learned a lot about the importance of a being a stronger and better man.
@@egoapple5421 So true. Gordon just didn't want to believe that when Carmine Falcone was in charge, the crime syndicate wasn't such a mess of endless killing and nightmarish. Fish Mooney taking the strike and the mess created with rival Sal Maroni and the Penquin's involvement is what made it that. The Penquin however, molded into something way more functional. They could've had a true working relationship. However, it does make sense cause Gordon will always be the hot-heated cop who becomes comissioner, while Batman will be the one who will take the whole thing a step further, while basically mostly everyone else stays a few steps behind or avoids (just as harvey bullock was, even on and off when wanting to believe in gordon).
This is why people’s starting to like villains more, now they know their personality. Villains have always been described as pure evil, without any other intention but hurting or killing innocent people, without caring about their past or why do they act like that. Truth is, that they do have feelings, they do have emotional weaknesses and they obviously have a past and a personal life that most of the time is ignored. Thank you Warner to making a series that shares this with the viewership!
Pure evil in people exist but there are not many of them and they don’t tend to become major villains or criminals they either are passive about their destruction or it’s very low key and relatively unknown no one hears of them at all they simply have no conflict at all with destroying or hurting people and some pure evil people are not violent at all but one thing for sure is that for pure evil nothing is sacred although they may not destroy anything directly it’s their thoughts and feelings about destruction in general that create a social climate that gives other people permission to act out destructive and negative acts towards others truly evil people spread their evil mostly through osmosis just being around them is worse than any act of terrorism truly something to fear
i like this version of the pinguin more then the older one even thought he looked freaking cool- this pinguin seems to be more kind somewere deep in side i hope one day he and martin get reunited. :( (this was sooo sad) :(
this one has a huge heart and hes also very calculative. he looks like a kinda guy who on one side has the heart of honey and on the other pure evil and would stab you repeatedly in the heart while laughing
Like he helped Luke back in season 3 - the new boy who was nervous to play with the other in case they didn't like him but changed his mind after Penguin gave him some advice....I can see him years later, with Luke and Martin as his two right-hand men, smiling at them both like a proud father.
Who would've thought that Penguin would actually develop something resembling a heart??? & who would've ever thought that previously heroic Alison Ardent would end up re-emerging as a cold-blooded ruthless dark-hearted mob heiress going from opposing demons & ghosts in defence of others to opposing the future Dark Knight & his allies in order to realize her power-mad ambitions.

Ive heard some pretty good arguments that Martin is the Joker. Or, being that Gotham is working on the idea that the Joker is more of a mantle than a person, he will grow up to become the MAIN Joker who will later fight Batman. I know gotham wants us to think this is Jerimiah's Joker but during the time we saw him during s5 he never acted anything like the joker.
Why is Oswald so reluctant to eat human,he's eating human before in the first episode I think I forgot he killed some of his cousins and turned them into food and then he started eating one of them and said one of them was really tender and then killed the mother.
He stuck his finger in the marinated juice. He didn't eat it. Besides, it was out of pure rage amd revenge, a plan he had. The pies were out of his control.
As sad as it might sound; Penguin did the right thing by sending Martin away. Gotham is no place for a kid like Martin. If you love something, set it free. And that's what Penguin did to save Martin from all the shit he himself went through.
I loved this , it proves that maybe Oswald may still have a evil way of doing certain things, but he actually cares for Martin. Its so heart warming to see his loving side as he Gave Martin a hug 🤗❤🐧

Martin I think would be misunderstood. He’s a bad guy, but his motives are caused by bullying. Which we could relate to. If he Would be a full fledge villain, or hero, it would be so much more powerful. Joker’s decent, but in Dark Knight, he was much more smart. There's got to be some Batman villain he could be, even if there's no Batman villain called Martin. There's always the chance they aren't the same characters, but they changed some of the human names for the villains in this, so Martin could be their version of one of Batman's future enemies.

If I were to guess or make a theory. A) Martin is related to, dare I say Bruce Wayne and his Thomas Wayne Jr. and his the one that becomes The Joker. B) Martin is Gagsworth A.
