i have been wanting to get dis answer being from engineering back ground..today i got it...sir i have quesiton that lets say pnb is showing 93000crore in reserves which dey raised by doing provisioninog for npas from profit every qty... so dis mean that dey have further lent dese 93000crore as loans or does it stays wid bank or rbi on which pnb gets interest?? please enlighten on dis...lets say if dey further lent it but wont tht be unadvisable becos this is provisioned money and could be always sought in case of npa default?? .
From what I know, it is the money that company eventually has to owe to it's shareholders. All the money that should be owed falls on the liability side. I could be wrong. I just answered based on my understanding.

Why general reserve is shown in liability side
From what I know, it is the money that company eventually has to owe to it's shareholders. All the money that should be owed falls on the liability side. I could be wrong. I just answered based on my understanding.
