How to make RC Truck Tires.
This is the second video on how to make tires at home. I'm making truck tires using a mold. Silicone is poured into the mold in an open way.

How much for a custom mold for 1/8 th scale ?
👏 muito bom meu amigo 👍🇧🇷
👍
great job waiting for your truck trailer tire
Thanks
HI ITman3D. Can you please post a link to where this silicon can be bought or what the name of it is. I like your video and the tyre, but with experience of tyre mould tyre making with regular Silicon, i know its just messy and waist of time. I would be happy if you can help
I live in Ukraine. The factory that sold silicon was bombed. I don't have a link. Sorry.
very cool! How would you say the grip of the tires compares to regular rubber tires?
Tire grip is the same as standard
Hello, any tips to make this for 1:64 scale? since it's so tiny, do i need bolt to tighten it? thanks in advance
Hello. This does not work for 64 scale. You can do it much easier by printing the wheel on an SLA printer using rubber resin.
@@ITman3Dmain Unfortunately i don't have any acces for rubber like resin, it cost very expensive if i buy from outside my country (i live in south east asia).
Maybe i'll try make it into smaller size, or else i'll try to recast it with sillicone rubber into 2 part
Hola muy bonito una tienes el archivo de los moldes
Please do a German lorry tire (Gelende) in bigger scale 1/10 1/8 and 1/6
how she looks like? do you have a link to this tire?
I can send you the pics of the tyre and dimensions
@@scalemodelmasters Please do so
Does it stick like rubber? i plan to make rc bike tires
Yes. it looks like rubber
does the tire feel like a normal rc tire or is it a really soft resin
You saw the creation process in this video. It's silicone.
Hi bro can you 3d print a 1/14 scale tamiya tyre mould for me please rply
Hello. I saw your letter that you wrote to me by e-mail. I need to know more information about what you want me to create.
could you inject the black stuff into the mold instead ? to be less messy...
Tell me more how to do it? Do you have experience in tire manufacturing?
Is there a photo or brand of the silicon mine? Thank you
This is a Ukrainian production. At the moment, due to the war, production was destroyed.
which silicone do you use?? i tryed some molding silicone, I don't have good results
two component silicone
@@ITman3Dmain Yes, I used two component, but could you show us the brand? model? I buy "R PRO 30 two component silicone" on Amazon, one of the bottle is white and the other is yellow. I buy a black colorant, but it make a kind of green/grey color... and it's very sticky. I'm sure you don't have the same result.
@@valerylopez2269 I live in Ukraine. There is a war going on in my country. The factory that produced this silicone was bombed. At the moment, this brand and factory does not exist. Sorry.

What is the material you use to color silicone?
When I bought silicone, the Extra is attached to the silicone. Black color.
You can use toner ink too.
Why does the tyre look reflecting shiny after putting it out of the mould and then in the next shot all hairy and matt?
As you may have noticed, the tire only has a glossy surface on the side. The top surface is matte. Pay attention to how the mold was printed. Probably due to the location during printing.
@@ITman3Dmain I know the tread side is matt to begin with but the whole tyre is matt in the last scenes 7:38 which was not the case before. And i noticed this in other same type of process videos too. Where they print and mould a tyre.
@@MrGTAmodsgerman I filmed some scenes some time after using these tires on my cars. Maybe because of this.
@@ITman3Dmain Well then looks like you don't know either, have to find out myself. Well thanks any way.
@@MrGTAmodsgerman I never paid attention to the surface. I had a goal to create custom wheels and I achieved it.
Can i buy this mold online sites, i requeste please help me sir
Yes.

Is this any specific resin?
This is a two part silicone.
@@ITman3DmainSorry for old post question but where did you get 2 part silicon?

Alguém aí desenvolve forma ?
Não entendi a sua pergunta. desculpe
@@ITman3Dmain perguntei se alguém poderia desenvolver o projeto do molde em um tamanho maior !!

I seem to have trouble getting resin to set in a silicone mold . Have you had any issues ?
There are several types of silicone catalysts. It is likely that you are using the wrong silicone catalyst, which could cause problems.
