this has a vibe of the old 70's and 80's martial art documentaries. Budo & the Warrior Within are two that comes to mind. The way it is filmed, the overall make of it. Find it very wonderful and it brings back memories of those old documentaries to my mind. Now I am going to have to watch them again.

Soke Haisan Kaleak, Soke Lusayne Alston, and my instructor, Soke Papasan Canty are the three founders of the KUROSHI-DO SYSTEM/FAMILY! Kuroshi-Do is my core system for self defense and living right! I miss seeing my martial family from back in the day, now the only last living founder is Soke Haisan, I so miss the lectures more than anything! Have not seen anyone since the tournament in 2008 at Pooler HS, Pooler, GA. I had my instructor Kayden Otis Harris(Mi Yama Ryu Jujutsu) and afew members from my current school to attend the event, everyone I was associated with enjoyed the event. I was Soke Papasan's Uke for the duration of the evening! Miss them Ussh Jombo Soke!! -- Sensei Inogasan (Grasshopper)

The emphasis is making money! That same logic can be applied to Hip-Hop/Rap music. It’s watered down now and that’s the reason you have the nonsense you have flooding the airwaves/social media nowadays. I’ve noticed that with a lot of things over the years. The Products, Automobiles, clothing/fashion, music, Sunglasses, Shoes, and in this case Martial Arts are not as strong and resilient as it use to be. It still exist in small pockets here and there but not like it did back in the day. Quantity over quality is today’s logic where as back then it was quality over quantity|. Did anybody catch when he said that particular school/dojo ran by the Great Master Moses Powell only accepted you if you were recommended? That keeps the reputation and foundation of that school intact.
