So Brazil is in Florida? Crazy...
In 2006 I was 11 and my family drove from Kentucky to New York City for vacation, but my parents weren’t very cultured so my dad said “Ah, our first New York Slice” and took us to Sbarro. I saw it happen on the Office years later and died a little more inside. Thanks for bringing up that trauma Dunkey, very cool very legal
Lol. Out of all the local pizza shops. Almost a crime for there to be a sbarros in New York.
haha figures your from kentucky, moved from philly to kentucky some of the worst pizza down here all chain garbage.
I went to Memphis and my ex picked Hard Rock Cafe.
I saw my family make Office jokes before they were written also
@@richr161this is what I'm saying. How in the world this man have the gall to say the best NY pizza is not in NY and then say Sbarro is where New Yorkers go. So many street corner pizza shops in NY that kill Sbarro's
He didn’t get my state
1:37 i think this is the the most pissed off ive ever heard dunkey, he sounds so genuinely upset
5:22 i genuinely did not expect that and I burst out laughing
As a fellow member of Wisconsin, I want to thank you for telling people about the glory of our Mac n' Cheese Pizza. God truly does live within each bite of that cheesy goodness.
Real recognizes real. No one understands the power of Wisconsin cheese
I lived in Madison for a summer, nothing better than Ian's at 2am
@@zack3620but have you had Ian's at 3am
God also truly recognizes the Cardiac Unit in every hospital in Wisconsin as we take in that bite of ooey gooey cheesy goodness.
Can i try it without officially joining Wisconsin?
Dunkey will forever hold the key to my funny bone and heart. Non gaming vids. Always hysterical.
This video will serve as a reference for Dumpey and his kid on where to eat pizza on Saturdays. Thank you Charles for making this video possible.
Fun Fact: the pizza at 5:52 in from a Brazilian pizzeria, there's pizzerias in here that specialize on these war crimes.
this shit is common here, no joke
For some reason it's that one lone grape on the chicken side that haunts me
@@ilznidioticthat's an olive lol
I can confirm the Rhode Island style unrefrigerated pizza strip with no cheese is real. I forgot all about that. Thanks for bringing back repressed memories from my youth.
And it's absolutely fire the greatest memories are made with one of these in your hand
Pretty sure they're called "tomato pies", they have them on school trips, basically deep dish without cheese.
But isn't it just cold tomato pizza? I eat that all the time and I'm from Canada.
Bread with tomato sauce and cooked cheese doesn't need to be refrigerated if it's all going to be sold on the same day.
as a hawaiian i can confirm, pizza is a sacred tradition only made with the best havarti cheese.
I really love Dunkey's educational content
As Mario’s 3rd brother I can confirm that this pizza list is accurate and is the most credible pizza source ever recorded in pizza history
Mandela effect man, I don't even remember there being a 3rd Mario brother
sponge???
As the 13th Ninja Turtle, I can also confirm
Who's his 2nd brother
Most incredible pizza what now? 🤣
I actually grew up in taco island and I’m so glad to see my homeland finally getting the recognition it deserves as a culinary superpower
You always had a spot in the heart of our stomachs since you are the bithplace of tacos. Thank Jonathan T. Taco II for that and also for discovering the island from the natives.
You really made me crave some Pizza, which says a lot considering I ate pizza while watching this video. Also it's hilarious that for the last one I said Florida alongside you lmaoo
The Alabama pizza looks absolutely incredible, if I ever go to the US again I'll remember to try it after whatever Florida pizza is supposed to be.
Now this is the high quality video gaming content I subscribe to dunkey for.
Edit: a fun fact about the picture Dunkey used for Oklahoma at 5:46. That's a local restaurant just outside of OKC called "Pops". They are known for having all sorts of different flavored sodas available for purchase, and yes. They sell pizza flavored soda.
Nah, TH-cam gotta be purposely putting this comment on top for me
Who’s dunkey this is a silly Rick videos
they also have what may be the shittiest cheese fries I've ever had. like imagine just taking some shitty bagged frozen fries from your grocer, heating them up, and then putting them in cold cheese. melts just enough to create a hideous shell. agony
you are full of lies. thats clearly a promotional photo from the release of super Mario galaxy 2.
God bless our beautiful Union.
The way we found out Pizza was invented in 1983 is because of the hit 2019 video game: Luigi's Mansion 3.
If you look closely in Mario's hotel room, you can see Pizza boxes that say "Since 1983."
I'm not surprised that Dunkey noticed. Many people missed that fact and are still unaware of when pizza was invented, but Dunkey's genius probably made him realize that fact immediately.
L is real 1983
Dunkey, you come for BBQ chicken pizza and you coming for my *culture* my *PEOPLE*. Don't cross that line Dunkey, don't wake up and choose pizza violence.
I find these random videos about nonsense to be his funniest ones
Yo, I can’t believe Dunkey pulled a MASSIVE name like Silly Rick for this episode! Goes to show how much Dunkey is willing to do for his fans! 🍕/10 Great Pizzunkey
Strange how we've never seen the two in the same room
@@davidhong1934they’re busy people
Can’t believe he forgot the Buffalo Buffalo style Buffalo pizza from Buffalo. Man, I miss when Dunkey was a credible pizza critic. Who could forget the classic Funkey line: “Give me a pizza or I slice your head with this pizza slicer.” Nowadays it’s all, “Can I have a slice pleeeease.”
He lost ALL credibility by not mentioning St. Louis style and our distinct cardboard crust
@@IronManx70I thought you guys just had half a pizza. So that the crust looked like an arch
I come back to this video every year just to keep up in the latest pizzas
6:01 the single crunchy green grape sitting just in front of the chicken really ties Florida style pizza together
That's an olive
@@_______a the words of someone who never had Florida pizza
I think fact checking the states and their actual pizza tendencies and finding out they’re basically actually all real was somehow the funniest part of experiencing this video
👍 ikr. As a pizza fanatic I did not have to do the research to know that his facts, though distorted were obviously made by someone who knows his pizza lore. Made me happy
especially taco island
Yeah, I low-key though this shit was AI-generated. Why would Americans bring shame to their country in this maner?
@@The_Moe_Szyslak_Exp_feat_Homer bro you speak from ignorance, American pizza is the best food this earth has produced
@@jasonbernard5468not all of it. There are some we will never mention
As a lifelong Floridian I can confirm we eat rotisserise and chocolate style pizza but only during the winter months as the heat from the disproportionately sized chicken melts the snow and that's why it doesn't snow in Florida look it up
Ironically, here in Canada, we’ve got an entire restaurant chain called “Boston Pizza”
Getting Epona’s song during Wisconsin’s absolutely delicious mac n cheese pizza warms my heart
Lived in 5 states and not one of them gets represented, but Taco Island gets a pizza. Silly Rick is truly one of the pizza critics of all time.
It's nice to see Americans finally coming together; not a single dislike on this epic Pizza Saturday masterpiece.
I have never been to the United States of America and this video has ascertained that there is no chance of that ever changing.
as an ohioan dunkey actually nailed "ohio pizza" to a tee and i'm shocked
fr
I can admire that Dunkey is willing to make an enemy out of the entire state of New York by saying our favorite pizza is Sbarro. Takes guts. He's got guts. I'm just sad that they'll never find his body after the Mafia hears about this.
mafia is a pretty good game but i think yakuza is more better
truuuuuuu@@awkwardcultism
I can only imagine the pain that this video has caused each and every one of Dunkey's new york fans, this is the PewDiePie bridge moment for new yorkers
Is he wrong though, about the part where every out of state New Yorker will gravitate to a Sbarro?
@@ragedump Sbarro is for tourists
(I was dragged there with a group despite my many desperate attempts to explain that there were a million better pizza places down literally any street)
My parents actually immigrated from taco island. We have a proud tradition from that unrecognized state by eating as many tacos as we can. Something that Paul Dudd would never understand.
As someone from Colorado, I'm glad to have learned about this my culture
I always new this video was coming. Ever since Oct 21st 2010, I've been telling everyone and they didn't believe me.
I live in Spain and this has been a very helpful guide to understand each US state's culture
Each state's pizza style is a nearly perfect reflection in microcosm of it's culture, values, and ethos.
Dunkey's quality just keeps going up, over the years the level of professional unbiased journalism, the research and the visuals have been better. Dunkly must have a team of editors to get these masterpieces out the door.
who is Dunkey? you must mean "Silly Rick".
eh I disgaree, but this was a good vid
one of your best dunkey, never stop
Very informative and entertaining video thank you!! I love pizza and I love making it too, I am actually from Rhode Island I know it looks scary but the squares need to be cold trust me the sauce is the best part! I know it seems blasphemous but just give it a shot you might like, that being said there's better ways to eat pizza that Rhode Islanders love it's not the best way but the squares are bad when you crave them. (Maybe it is just a crazy Ri thing lol)
I miss living in Rhode Island and eating that delicious pizza.
