Do not paint it! It's near perfect with the old paint. It looks correct, and so nice on the inside. A/C and some tunes and that car is awesome. I saw thousands in that color paint and it is nostalgic.

this Donut team has so much potential. nearly everyone who works there feels natural in front of the camera and could be the main host easily. It is hard to tell which is my favourite host, they are all great.
They cast for hosts/team members. Obviously you can’t fake a natural chemistry, but to an extent they’ve all been hired based on their comfort/energy in front of the camera, and their fit with the general vibe the production teams going for.
That's still a tall ask for most people. Just finding people that are natural in front of cameras is hard, Much less finding them that also come with decent car knowledge. I fucking love this channel tho. Although I do miss its old days and shows dearly. @@Jonathan_Doe_

I mean, you don't have to go for top of the line stuff, is more like a comedy bit, cheap car with the most expensive parts. You definitely can save money buying cheap things and save up for the more important stuff like the seats, wheels and maybe roll cage.
also another idea. when you had the interior stripped, you should of removed all the old gross gunk off the floor, scuffed it up a bit with a scotchbrite pad, then put down a few layers of POR-15. it will protect it, block out any chance of rust, and also act as a sound deadener as well. later on, you could put the car up on the hoist, pressure wash the underside after spraying it down with a good degreaser, then use the POR-15 there too. the bottom of that car would never rust out. though im in the canadian maritime region where thats a huge issue. (salt water, salt on the roads, salt in the air from the Atlantic, and also high humidity, it was at 96% a few days ago. you see 3yr old trucks with box sides bubbling out!) POR-15 is a lifesaver. you could also Lizard Skin it over top if you really wanted to coat it good!. anything you dont put por15 on, you could use Rust Check. Ill vouch for that shit all day after spraying it for years. we had a customer with an 86 camry that was rust checked every year, and it looked like a brand new car underneath, we dropped the gas tank to change the fuel pump and were able to remove all the bolts and tank straps with hand tools! it had over 500k kms on it, driven year round in the canadian salty winters. rust check is king.

The little Civic had such a massive glow up, it looks amazing. Love the two tone palette with the blue and yellow, really great choice. i know aesthetics aren't everything but, i really want to see a nice body kit and maybe even a wrap on this thing eventually.
My best friend since 96 had a yugo when he got his license. I always drove, (irony warning) because he scared me. Car was near new condition and you could see the ground through the floor. I took it up a back road that had a long downhill run back into town. If the speedometer was accurate or not it was pinned at 110mph/180kph. Downhill turbocharged. We didn't get stopped for the intersection at the bottom of the hill. Luckily no traffic lol. Proceeded to Walmart across town and got whatever, probably fishing stuff, and when we got back out to the car the brakes were completely seized/welded. Had to get a little John Wayne with it to bust em free lol
