It’s interesting as to why the sizing is so off...then I remembered that PG loves the super snug feel and he would wear a smaller size shoe to get that feeling (which is really odd). I wonder if that’s how or why they are sized that way...? 🤷🏽♂️

Size 9.5 feels like a 8.5. That was my first impression when I tried them on. Super tight . I’ll just wait. I’m sure there will be better colors available.

I actually saw a pair of pg4's at footlocker today, the lacing system actually looks better in person then it did with some other videos, would love to try these on court

@WearTesters what would you recommend for those who just want to wear them casually? I wear a 15 and want to wear them comfortably. Should I go a full size up? They don’t make half sizes in mine.

Tried it on already, mannn that cushion feels good! Fit tho, I tried half a size up, it was a little roomy in the toe, I could go true to size, but it would make it tougher to put on.
Nike PG4's are a dope new design in his line it's great that all his kicks are different I love that none of his kicks look the same love the 4's especially in the Plaid colorway🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Got my shoes in today. Dope. I got an size up too cause usually these b-ball shoes or fitness kicks lately run narrow/ small ya know. So that should fit me fine.
Copped this am. Hella small just like all the prior PG sneakers. Went up a full size. So comfy... wondering if they cushioning is toooo soft for basketball. Feels like running sneakers theyre so comfy. They look super dope in person...

I went half size up - nice snug fit. I´m sure they will break in, they are heavy padded in the backarea! Cushion is really nice, also a soft foam. But your foot definitely sits in the midsole - a little bit. I played in them once and had noch issues with the lateral stability, even if the materials of the upper are kind of soft... I play on a dusty court and traction seems to be solid! Note: I have the Gatorade Colourway! Greetings from Germany - to the best shoe-related TH-camr in the world!
Lmao bro, I felt the same way when I was trying these on at the store. Hard to get into and almost ended up not even trying them on, but I went half a size up and ended up buying them. Hard to get on but once you're in there, it's pretty comfy on the court.
maybe it's my old age of late 30s but I cant be bothered to do that anymore. I like shoes with normal tongues instead of battling to get my foot in there

Chris - Good info on the new PG4s as always. I bought these and like you I had to go up from a 9 to a 9.5. I have played in them a few times now and really like the cushioning, traction and support. I wondered how the taller phylon midsole would be, as I'm a guard, but didn't really notice any roll over tendencies or stability issues. I'm a huge fan of the Boost in the Harden Vol 3 and these are the closest I found in new shoes to that cushioning for me. Looking forward to the performance review. Enjoy the day.
I got the white glove one of my first shoe's that were made for b'ball and not only the zoom full length but when you first put them on the sponge or cushioning is awesome and I got the Lakers colourway
When I think of Gatorade and Paul George together I think of that Gatorade fierce commercial where he splashed a three point buzzer only to have the same chance in the ECF but instead throwing up a air ball twice. 😂😂
Just copped these, i stayed true to size(9.5 US), dont regret anything. Plus it came with a free gatorade bottle with a design of my country's flag ☺️
The traction of the gatorade version is durable outdoor than the normal ones ? I saw the tag XDR on it

The only reason you need to go half size or full size up is because of how hard this shoe is to put on, once you’re foot is in it’s a snug fit but not very tight. It is actually true to size with thick foam padding. It will break in of course after some time. Perfect snug fit after breaking them in.

i got the pg4 and they are the most comfortable show i’ve had
I wouldn't mind its look as long as it performs good on-court. I would still focus on coping retro Jordans though as long as performance go.
They aren't as durable as they used to be
Im a 10 or a 10.5 and i ended up getting a 10.5 but there where just a little to tight so i went up to an 11 and they feel great. If they do stretch and feel loose i can always double sock.
The zoom flight 98 is one of my all time favorites. I have the white pair.
I didn’t think this shoe was gonna have a tight fit but it does, it was a struggle to get them on but once you have them on they feel really tight. I haven’t hooped in them but I think they’ll do good because they’re super snug so my ankle feels stable. It’s a super clean shoe but maybe you have to break them in but I would go a size up.
I got these a few days early ( they released January 3rd in Australia )and have been hoping in them and I think they're some of the best hoop shoes released in a while

Went with the true size them played I feel like it’s suppose to be snug given Nike’s recent history of shoes coming off
Size up , even doing that room is limited I mean big toes has space but barely which I’m sure once u break in the inner sock will minimize to less space
Performance aside I’m loving this look - very out there. Was a head turner when I wore these to the gym 😂
With bottom loaded zoom in the fore foot it might be the best cushion of all time
I am a wide footer and I went true to size for the casual wear with thin socks. But if you go with the Nike basketball NBA socks, you have to either go half or full size depending on how much toe space you can comfortably play with because it is really very snug and very hard to put on.

The Kid I think you will be okay. It is heavily padded, if you can try it at the store will be good. I went half a size up for myself
Hey, great review. I copped these and have hit the court for 1 session but they were amazing. Very similar to kd12 cushion but wider/better fit and better traction!

I absolutely balled out in these, went a full-size up (because they are made small) very good traction, very comfortable shoe!

Bro for me you should have gone true to size, it really feels snug at first but in play the cushion feels like memory foam that makes the fit more secure. I have a wide foot but I still went true to size and I am thankful I did not hesitate. Best to try it in store first for player's preference. I got 9.5us in the Black EP colorway BTW.

They kinda remind me of the Jordan Jumpman hustle of 2018 what the zipper.I wore that shoe without the laces.Im a wide footer and I went with true to size and it’s like a slip on but it still crazy snug.
I got them a half size up and they where kind of hard to put on ... but ones on they where stupid comfortable.. def. a good light shoe.... and def. go a half size up.. especially if you have wide feet lol
I have the pg4 in black and got my regular size. Same size as the kyrie's i moved on from for more cushion.

Many ppl don’t know about the Dennis Rodman Nike worm shoe but this really resembles that a lot even more than the glove .... check em out!!
The worm didn’t have a shroud. It was more just a zip lace enclosure. Looks nothing like the glove or PG 4 other than the zipper.
After looking more I’d say I agree for the most part but still don’t think this shoe looks at all like the Nike glove shoe; just my opinion!!
Agreed, it was more of a tribute to the glove/inspired by versus a new version of the shoe.

Haven't worn a pair of 11's lately but I have the 7's which is also full length air, does it feel like that as well or softer?
Nouie G it’s more plush, considering your foot it’s DIRECTLY on top of the cushion. There is nothing between you and the cushion, no buffer. Considering how Nike tech has evolved since the Jordan 7 and 11, the ride is much better in terms of comfort.

They look like basketball version of air max ones with a zipper. Looks nice.
Went with the Gatorade colorway and a full size up. Tried the black ones at finishline, and had a harder time putting those on even with a full size up.
They are okay, but I like the black pair better.

These do run small, I got these in a sz 14 and feel like they could be bigger still... the cushioning feels amazing, but why are they cut so low?? Basically no ankle protection.... how do these cats ball in low tops??
I'm actually surprised with the sizing on these, I'm usually a 9 but because I'm a wide footer I always go up half a size. Ordered these for my brother tho who is a 9.5 and I tried them on myself, yes getting into them is hard as fuck but the width seems better than most shoes, just a little pressure on the sides of my frontfoot but other than that they fit like a glove. Feel like as soon as you break them in they are so much fun to play in.
