This is à daily driver so 2.9 0-60 is way more than enough for a 45k car. If you want the faster 0-60 and power, the model S plaid sits on that throne.
You don't need faster 0-60 for the freeway ramp. Biggest criticism of the previous design was the modest acceleration after 60 for the people who do track.

More of a race car, would have been great if they added more reduction to get a better 0-60 because most people will not drive at 100+ mph
