A great early game base is right beside the desolate church, the red and gray area near the starting area, I always set up there and try to breed a Anubis right away 😂🔥🔥 there’s ton of ore that respawn if you build around it
Base #3 has served as an excellent livestock farm! Since I use #2 for ore, wood, and coal and is my main, I use #3 for the sole purpose of berry, tomato, and lettuce farms plus a Ranch for milk, eggs, wool, and those electric organs. Salads for days!
I made a base at the base #3 spot. The location is fantastic with tons of ore, trees, berries, and low level chickens and lambs for food around. The only problem is that it's a pretty large distance to the fast travel. It has also never been raided once since I built it and it's been like 20 days in game.
I made one of my bases at the seated Anubis Statue to the south (need heat resistance). Mostly surrounded by water with the only way to get at the base is across a single bridge. Put a gate on either side of the bridge and you have an easy choke point where you can slaughter raiders. It has a skill fruit tree right in front of the seated Anubis and access to suffer.

-475, -85 is probably the best base location outside of resource farming spots - perfect for a production/breeding base - cover the flat area in foundations and build up for all the space you need - invaders cant get into the base unless you push them up with an attack but they will still come so you can kill them for their drops but dont have to worry about your base being destroyed - also you can get there super early just die as soon as you can and spawn in the northern area of the map
Wow dude my first base I built in same spot but just a little more up on the map. Probably like 50ft Away! I didn’t know there was so many ores right next to me lol wow.
Managed to make a base I like on #4 since my friend took #1. It was definitely a tight fit to make it the mining/production base, but I'm satisfied with it.
7:18 I HAVE actually been able to connect the coal to the top part, but you have to start the entire base withe the (spiral) staircase going up, and since it’s not quite enough to reach to the main part by itself you start a second set of foundations at the top that will be the main part
@@darxiide sadly it’s from a world that god deleted, the whole “started a solo world but then my friends got the game” deal, but I do know it’s possible, it’s a 2x4 or 2x5 base platform near the middle, the important part is to use roofs as they are much more lenient with placement compared to stairs and you can go 2 structures off a foundation before it’s not stable, it’s jank as hell but I bet you can do it
Base 6: best starting base location. (in my opinion at least) Base 2: The best farming base location. Base 8: one of te best looking locations in the game, with access to infinite quartz, which is required for endgame structures. I personally use those 3 locations myself. You also forgot to add, that base #9 here has a dungeon entrance right next to it, meaning if it opens, you have a teleport near to one o fthe best dungeons in the game, as the dungeonsin that snowy island are the best in terms of loot. They're also the place where I go for paldium. I should probably make better stone farms available somewhere, by cutting the line of pathfinding for my mobs to whatever else resource, and just direct them to the stone quarry instead whe nI need more stone. sulfur? useful? how? You talk like you actually craft your ammo rather than buying it from a merchant. Which is weird, since gold is practically free once you caught a vandering merchant, and have a good enough ingot production setup going. (basic ingots, not refined or pal metal, just normal 2 ore / ingot ones) Crat the ingots into nails. Sell the nails to the merchant. Buy whatever the hell you want, since nails have a really high sale price.
Base 2 and 6 ive been using to mine for a while. 6 i found and was my first mining base. 2 i saw online. Both have been great. My main is at the start of the game and i am moving it today 😅 jst need to pick a nice spot, i quite like the look of base 3. Lots of flat space and a ton of room. I dont really want to build up to much, as the pathing and speed wont be ideal. My only concern would be the stone and ore nodes. Will pals focus on nodes or the placeable mining area? I think u can block off the nodes by building on them but i kinda want the extra resource at the same time. My plan is to have a main base somewhere, keep my mining base at location base 2. And maybe a breeding base for a while so i can focus on eggs there. I dont mind being raided as some pals come mainly in raids.
A few weeks ago I spent hours looking for the perfect spot to set up a base for ore farming, only for them to drop an update that gave us the Ore Mine 🫠 I was flabbergasted. Technically it doesn’t matter where you put your base now as far as ore goes. And in my experience, the ore mine produces more because you’re not waiting for anything to respawn.
I wish people can stop doing videos on best base locations based on how much ore it has; I have the base dedicated to ore/coal like everyone else does I want best base for looks/functionality aka it's flat, large, looks pretty, and it has a nice view.

I actually like that spot but I should have added I also wished to be invaded. But sadly I've made bases in so many different locations and the only spot I've noticed the raids working properly is the early location everyone builds on at the start of the game. @@UnearthlyRelic
Hey I'm just staring the video so I don't know if you talk about bad base locations but I was wondering how bad is the cave near the first fast travel point at the beginning of the game for a first base
The castle thing ya spawn in? Awful. I tried setting up there and it sucks because there really isn't much room on the ground, and it having a natural roof limits the verticality you can use to compensate. It works well enough to start, but once you start needing to build assembly lines and such you run out of room really fast.
Palworld really needs the ability that when you set up the Palbox you get a bird's eye view to see where it's borders end up.
That's such a great idea.
You can see it if you just look around.

did you manage to connect the bottom platform with the coal to the top? i've been trying and failing miserably..

I should amend that the two things do not connect but they end up close enough together that pals can pathfind down

Mount flopie summit is also a great location, ore nearby and unraidable

I built my base up and put all the assembly lines in the top like you do and the pals wouldn't come up. I'm not sure why
Make sure theres no roof where they go up. They dont go up, leave like 6 spaces no roof.

I think that I did cover all that up on this one. There's a couple just nice overall places here with nice vistas.
