BEFORE posting a comment, please take a moment and understand what this video represents: value. This video tracks how much a PS2 video game is *worth* if someone wants to purchase or sell a copy. Based on data from a third party website, which itself tracks actual SOLD values on sites like Ebay and Amazon. This is *not* a list of quality or popularity. If anything, the more popular games tend to have the least value, which makes sense since popular games tend to have more copies out in the wild. So, if you're going to post a comment complaining about why "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas" isn't here... please take some time to educate yourself first. Or just go away. This isn't rocket science, people.
I am so lucky yesterday. I finally found my lost ps2! Were still finding the games because we lost it too. But lucky enough the ps2 is in a good condition

Hi everybody. I want to find a game that I played 10 years ago. This game is a 2-players game, the graphics seem to be made in Japan. In the game, players fight against the dark forces (like that). A female character in the game (like a fellow or a relative of the main character) is captured and brainwashed by the enemy. 2 players have to fight this female character, I have played to the stage meet a gate, to open that gate requires enough gems (you can get each gem in a different stage, including a stage in the desert and a stage in the forest).
@@ucpham3567 Could it have been Folklore for the PS3? Here is some gameplay. th-cam.com/video/4Cw2_3eCG9M/w-d-xo.html You play as two different characters named Ellen and Keats. You travel to different worlds to fight and capture creatures called Folk. Once captured, you can use the folk to fight against other folk. You collect gems to make them more powerful. I have just over 200 ps2 games in my collection, all CIB. I only have 13 on this list... and they are PAL versions, Haha, so not anything near the NTSC prices! Blood will tell is the most expensive ps2 game I own. I remember paying £15 for Def jam FFNY, CIB, in great condition (great game that). ✌️

I have a few of these games, a bit I got back in the late 2000’s like Silent Hill 3. I did recently get Obscure, but I got it on X-Box. I wasn’t going to pay an arms and a leg for it and I never had any X-Box consoles before, so I bought it to play with. My copy is kinda crappy, but I do think it was worth it, especially with how much the PS2 copies are. Honestly wish Capcom had the rights (like they do with Clock Tower) and could remake it, giving it better controls and maybe better boss battles and more story and actions for each character, but don’t change their looks or change the time period (I like that the characters have great designs and that they have it set in 2003, giving it a unique setting). And even though the second game gives you more places to go, Leafmore High has so much charm and atmosphere, let alone a lot of places to go, that it feels more realized than the college in the second game.
I loved Obscure! A completely underrated survival horror game of the period! Totally nails the culture vibe at the time (when Buffy the Vampire Slayer was still big on TV). Also has a great co-op mode which not enough survival horror games feature.
Lucky owner of Blood Will Tell. Got it for $90 CIB three years ago and I also have quite a bunch of other PS2 heavy weights from this list, but there's no way on earth I'll pay $700 for Kuon, $450 for Rule Of Rose or $400 for Haunting Ground. On the other hand, I got God Hand CIB for $93 last week :D
I got Haunting Ground and Obscure sitting on my shelf. Those have to be the most valuable games I one right now. They were my brothers, so I dunno how much he paid for them back in the day. Couldn’t have been more than $20-$40 a piece. I can’t imagine spending $400+ for these games now. They were great games, but damn! They weren’t that great! If anybody is curious, just emulate Haunting Ground and Obscure is available on Steam for $10.
@@Ckoz2829 You're completely right. If we didn't buy them in the past, it's because they weren't really good games. @@GaryRetroGamer As far as Odin Sphere is concerned, I'm sure that one was hobbled by the fact that there is a superior PS3 & PS4 remaster of the game, which limits the appeal of the PS2 version to full-set collectors.
