both sound good, bass better on the jbl and the xp sounds clearer.
After all these comparisons I'd purchased JBL Encore and JBL 710. I was going to get Sony 900 but got ended up with Encore

The bass of the pbEE is very similar to pb 310 but the 310 has a punchy and a lower 3D like bass the EE has only 3D like bass (super low)

Sony has more pleasing for my ears.
PB Encore Essential holds it own quite okay at 60%, but it‘s sound stage completely breaks together at 100%. Bummer.
The Sony is already better sound quality-wise at 60% and masters full power (100%) with no problems at all.
The Essential has the general problem of a lack of mid frequencies. This is due to having a driver mainly for the lower bass plus tiny tiny tweeters for the highs. The simply is no dedicated speaker for the midrange.
The XP has very weak bass
Solution: 2 encore tws mode = stereo sound (mids and highs range)

I have the encore and if u use ur eq on the all and put up to high end and lower bass it sounds super clear and loud and when u plug it in it even super loud the jbl encore is a unreal speaker for it prove and stuff u can do with it like the karaoke and mic adjustments and and like effects and dj sounds u can do on the app jbl had won me over with the encore amazing speaker for its size love it and I can get at least 4 hours with out wire and lights and it kicks a sick bass u have deep bass and punchy bass what a speaker I love mine 100 percent
Yes, you have to play with the two bass extension settings and the EQ settings.
I'd like to have at least a five band EQ for the Encore. But anyway it's such a great fun speaker!

Encore vs partybox 100?
Jbl partybox encore shines against sony xp-500. With the half weight of the sony speaker can produce the same maximum volume! It is also more clear and it has better overall performance. Furthermore is gives you a nice microphone if you choose the jbl encore and not the essential package. Of course, jbl is a better music brand than sony. It is obvious at every speaker i have tried. Sony does very good job at sony photography and i love sony cameras against nikon and canon. But for music, i always choose the best, which is jbl.
Em som a Sony é melhor que JBL, a Sony produz equipamento a nível Bose, JBl é para um público diferente, voltado para uma equalização em V, onde tem bastante graves, médios apagados e agudos bem altos. Achei o Sony mais nítido, e graves mais profundos, quando digo Profundo estou me referindo a questão que eles saem naturais e produzidos com bastante espaço dentro da caixa, o Encore tem um Subgrave mais presente, também muito bom, mas o Som tem muito agudos e faltam médios para preencher o vácuo que parece ter no JBL.
Amigo para ti cual ha sido el mejor parlante, calidad y bajos , tu preferido.?
Según mis poca experiencia de audio el pequeño de jbl suena mejor en bajos

me encanta como se escucha ese speaker de JBL muy buenos graves son muy sonoros y profundos, mientras que el speaker de Sony tiene aun ese sonido de caja no tan bueno para los oidos a la hora de escucharlos esos speakers de sony pienso que deben de cambiar eso.
Si sony agrega esa salida de aire donde sale los bajos profundos de jbl en su proxima generacion entonces jbl estaria en problemas y daria mas competencia
@@Juancanf pues si Sony crea o diseña alguna cápsula cual pueda crear una dimensión de Graves mejor que la de aire y de presión cuál usa JBL sería aún mejor pero Sony quiere copiar algo de los dos mundos en el que usa JBL pero ese resultado es peor 😞 así que debe cambiar eso nada más dejarlo así como presión, uso de radiadores pasivos reales
Mira que el XP 700 juega en otra línea .. yo estaba en ese dilema y el 700 es otro mundo hasta en bajos

Sony always its signiture bass that only suit for cinema bass,too long bass vibration like a string gitar bass…i like the jbl sound,bass is strong punchy,deep and fast respond.

JBL can reach lower, but is also missing a lot of detail in the higher regions.

The Encore essential is still a Party beast but the XP 500 has more of a Balanced sound

Again, amazingly the PB Es be packing that low end, for a speaker half the size of both the XP500 and PB100/110 deffinitely packs a punch for it's size. Also the sony wins in 60% vol here, it might be preference in taste, but the PB Es just sounds a bit muffled.
I think Sony is using 3 tweeters at 9ne time
but overall, the PB encore is better, since you have an EQ, and you can make it sound loud and clear

Jbl partybox 710 vs encore
That's not even fair
710 is louder and has deeper bass this is because encore is almost as loud as 100 series and I got both 100 and 710. With 710 with bass boost 1 on 1/3rd volume, it will start rattling the thin wooden walls. Do a bass sweep at 30-35hz from youtube you will hear and feel the bass and vibrations on your wall. 100 will start at 40-45hz and this 10hz difference makes a lot of difference.

@@pixelreflectorpro if you listen close with a good set of headphones you should be able to hear it. the first bass kick at 2:51 was also distorted, but the limiter kicked in so it played somewhat clean for the rest of the song
