yeah...played a lot of matches even without rewards...me and my friend were counting down the timer to get into the same matches xd....this windtrace it worked like 2 out of 10 times...Last years windtrace worked better
There was a Ganyu player and he was the hunter, I was the last rebel and when he caught the favor he started chasing so I used that invisibility thing and started chasing him. He literally started running away from me and I still don't how he forget that he was the hunter
I did it with kujou at the military camp and the hunter walked by several times xD And also with albedo on dawn winery and bennet in ritou. Bennet in Ritou is reaaaallly good.
I always used barbara and stood next to the maids at dawn winery, the first time i did it, a childe main was standing with the npc guys across from the maids. i cant tell you how many times the hunter walked right past us 😭 we were dying the whole time, the childe never got caught but i did at a minute left because the hunter was just spamming the capture tool and didn't even mean to get me 😭😭 i miss windtrace already :(

When I go to the Kujou camp I just go to the soldiers practice attacking and be a barrel , the hunter will keep searching for me but the soldiers we'll be pointing at me like " she's over here" it works every time XD

people will get bored if it's available all the time, exclusivity and time limit is what makes things interesting and holds Genshin together. Does anyone want the characters that are always available or do they prefer rare ones?

I use Xinqiu once at Qingce village while the hunter is Chongyun, I waited so long and got bored for the hunter to find me until I was the last one standing, I didn't even realize the hunter use the favor and the chat says "ayo run! your bf is chasing you", I don't ship the two, I just use Xingqiu because its Qingce village, but hell I crack at that very moment and run as quick as I can but got caught in the end, it was good laugh tho haha
A Diluc invited my Kaeya to chat behind the Winery. We sitted there for 2 minutes, us, Diona and Keqing and talked about the past matches. I'm pretty sure that in GI those characters wouldn't be able to have a normal convo but Windblume makes lots of things possible ^^
I tried the npc technique twice with kaeya, I was right in front of them when they used the mysterious hunch, it pointed at me! But they still managed to miss that and ran past me. Both happened when itto was the hunter too 😂 I was standing beside the npc with the barrels on the left at dawn winery.
One time my freinds agreed with me to all be qiqis, one was a hu tao, and when they all turned to hu tao i was the only qiqi, then i said in chat “it’s over, y’all, qiqi has the high ground.”
ILL BE CLEAR FOR REAL- WINDTRACE IS STILL ONE OF MY FAVOURITE EVENT GAME from the very first beggining! Its fun to play, brings out lots of players that later can become your friends, theres always nice rewards but whats the most positive about this event is that its the only one that i play even after i collect my rewards! It gave me an excitement, anxiety, happiness and overall 10/10 EXPERIENCE! To the point that i dont really care what rewards ill get but how many games ill play! When this event appeared for the first time i had so much fun i hoped that maybe in future we will have windtrace again AND THANK GOD MIHOYO GAVE US THIS EVENT BACK! I really hope that in future we will be able to play again such event with more places to hide, more abilities to use and ofc the same positive feeelings !
i also play thatre mechanicus a lot after getting the rewards. Itgs fun to create some challenges. Me and my friend did "ballista only, wall only (really funny), anemo only, freeze only....like some cool little challenges.

I hope that u meet good friends while playing game! u can be my friend as well hell yea maybe we can deal with some events or monsters cause screw those bad players all they do is screaming if they play bad or they just want to show off but they are nothing but dumb ppl. Ignore them and enjoy playing!
@@3nowStorm there were some toxic ppl who played and some of them were also playing together (rebel was telling hunter the location) because one time I had a really good spot, teammate wrote sth in Russian and the hunter immediately came to my place and found me. And sometimes there were insults in Russian....when that happened I started to write random stuff (no insults)in German to confuse them. Like....it's just a fun event...why do they take it so serious. One round is like 3 minutes long. If they loose, just go into the next match and don't be toxic. Didn't happen often, but yeah it happened

I remember catching someone like you at dawn winery. They were a Yanfei, and they were sitting on a chair beside the winery. I rounded the corner and caught them while doing random circle spot things.
Sadly, the device I played on’s storage space filled up so sadly I missed the event. And I regret not clearing a bunch of stuff out a little bit earlier 😞
I miss this event :( I didn’t play it because I got scared from its music but now seeing you enjoy this event with some funny moments make me wanting this event to be back
Im beyond speechless that I can still keep seeing after this many windTrace events that people still keep using these noisy pets equipped to them and for idk what reason don't think they'll get caught because of it making sounds...
I remember playing windtrace last time when I used Kazuha and someone used Raiden Shogun as a hunter. It was fun that the player chased me and ran throughout the whole map in that village where there's purple nobushi mob, I remember that my teammates cheering for me during the whole ordeal. In the end I lost.
I remember I was Diona at the Filuc home and sat at the back table. I sat there for a bit till a person who was playing Diluc on my team saw me and sat across of me. The Hunter ran by us so many time AMD even stop at one point and stare at us for a second. We were waiting to see if he capture us since we could as getting up woulf have taken too long. But then the Hunter just turn away and ran. Later we won and I look at the messages before the match eneded and he put in 'I didn't know they added Diluc and Diona at the Dawn Winering. That pretty cool.' So he just assume we were just NPCs added by the devs to either throw off players or to give the maps a more 'real' feel to it! 😂
When I play as the hunter I usually take advantage of the fact that they keep using these stupid slime looking pets ( i know it's called seelie but it doesn't look the same as one) to find these people especially easily. Those pets in particular never shut up so I don't use them even when I'm not playing windTrace

i was a training dummy. The soldiers were attacking me and it looked not suspicous at all xd
My friend did the same but with a straw dummy (those with arrows) and yes I don't even thought that polearm don't shoot arrows! And I just passed by
