I once caught a rebel right as the timer went zero this morning-
and the other way around too djdjd running for your life and getting away feels good
and the rebel is mona
I was that rebel, with 2 seconds left i got caught..
i remember chasing this one mona at dawn winery, it was the most stressful 8 seconds of my life-

I remember playing as xiao and coincidentally as a hunter, and the rebels were 2 qiqi and 1 zhongli. I clearly remember the zhongli main saying "LMAO not xiao hunting for his daddy😭" and the other qiqi also said something like "pls im scared rn"

I was so noob in windtrace, that I didn't know how to join. Like, I just left the button above hanging not knowing what to do when you were supposed to press it to accept and join. To all those people I made to wait, forgive me. I'm stressed, I have like 10 pending modules, and I'm not doing anything about it. Which makes me even more stressed.

My brother, his friend and I all played co-op yesterday and decided to play some Windtrace for the fun of it..
And here are some memorable moments:
-Me freezing to death
-Them both hiding on top of the windmill and his friend actually running away because she saw me but he stayed up there not noticing
-A tree casually slid past me and then once I caught it a scarecrow desperately ran in the other direction
-I hid by the barrier as a hay bale and was partially inside of a Springvale house and despite being passed by numerous times and looking very suspicious I wasn’t caught
Guys remember that the hunter can hear your pets making noise lol I think they can hear your characters do their idle lines/animations too.
A rerun of this particular event would be so fun tbh. I loved it
This one time at the dawn winery. I was hiding in the tree, (struggling falling out occasionally) and as soon as the game started the hunter (Zhongli) asked if we can join them for a cup of tea.
And I, (Kaeya) Said I prefer wine.
I then see the hunter slowly walk towards me and sat at one of the tables.
They asked again with a "please?"
So I was like, "Ok fine" I didn't care if it was a trap...
For the rest of the 3 Minutes it was just us and a lamp sitting at the table (having drinks) and talking about stuff.
Shame the other rebel didn't join us, Easiest win I ever had.

Windtrace eventually became a game of tag for me instead of just going hide and seek. it's also more fun specially when a xiao complains about my kaeya's long legs, ehe.

in the dragonspine one i always hide in this tiny crevice between the giant ice spikes and the tall rock face by sprinting with my mona, and lemme tell you when I have to dash out to fire because of freeze damage its the most terrifying thing ever
